Gong has completely changed the way we sell.
What do you like best about the product?
Love the libraries, score carding, and integrations. It works perfectly with Salesforce and Outreach and provides deep insights we would never have without the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning the filter system on the calls tab has a learning curve and you might need your Salesforce Admin to help create the filters. They are based on Gong & CRM fields so you need to know what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved the huge problem of needing to record our sales conversations. We manually recorded in Zoom before Gong and Gong has totally streamlined the process. The insights and analytics have provided Huge gains in understanding our sales cycle.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong will provide value beyond what you would expect for a "recording tool". It is much more than that & we have seen Vast improvements in how we approach selling.

Gomg helps to understand your performance and work on your weaknesses to become a more complete sales person; the foundation of a cyclical coaching programme

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to review previous calls from customers especially if I may have missed something in my notes. I can review the questions again and make sure I communicate all action items to the customer. I also love the notifications about follow-up emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a section for any recurring meetings. I love being able to see my calls; however, I sometimes want to be able to view by recurring meeting or group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am sometimes too busy to recall what every customer call consisted of, so the ability to review calls is solving that issue for me. I am less foggy about customer details and it has helped me remain organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are in need of organizing your meetings and allowing review by others for enablement purposes, I highly recommend it!

I love the ability to listen to previous interactions with my clients as well as search for keywords.

It would be great if you could rate calls

As a CSM, it is very helpful to be able to listen to calls done with the client during the sales process so that I can come better prepared for my calls with them.
Great resource for rewatching/relistening to meetings.
What do you like best about the product?
Love that Gong allows for me to go back and listen to prior calls between myself and my customers as well as listen to counterparts' calls as well for further development and insight.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, there isn't really anything that I don't like about the platform or tool. It's currently functioning exactly how I need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me to recap a meeting more quickly than having to relisten to an entire call. Being able to skip ahead and see the breakdown of speakers is really helpful in my day to day.

I enjoy the deals page that shows the last time you spoke with client and next touchpoint.

I don't love how it's not retroactive up to the minute.

Gong is really great. It helps me to be more conscious of how I'm using my time as well as the customer's during meetings.

Nothing! Gong is very transparent in telling the customer ahead of time about what to expect so no complaints!

I have been able to solve the problem of too much filler words and topics in my conversations. This has led to higher productivity and business performance

Recommendations to others considering the product:
So good for improving sales performance. You can even integrate it with Salesforce and then filter by deals that have closed and watch the sales videos related to those deals. Would highly recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
Automatically converts calls to transcripts, super helpful for referencing after the call and greatly reduced the amount of time I spend on calls taking notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to add Gong to calls that weren't prescheduled.

Ability to send calls to clients after strategic technical conversations, business reviews, or demos has been ad added benefit. Coaching around talking speed, amount and language makes personal improvement easy.
