A fluid experience that allows you to really deepen your knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I have all the detailed information below the videos! Knowing who speaks, when, the average time of each monologue, ...
It's really useful to have access to the right information right away but also to make your own analysis about the structure of the meetings

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, it's not really something I don't like but I find that being dependent on names to find the videos and also the fact that the quality of the content depends on who posts... Well it can be complicated to find what you really need right away
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to watch videos on certain topics (workshop, meeting with a specific subject, ...) and this is really a good point because it can really help when the resources are not available elsewhere or when the right people are busy
Great for Learning
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is super helpful for a few reasons --
1) Listening back on sales calls to hear how you sounded and/or your peers sound (what questions were asked, how did the client react, etc) and then you can learn what works and what doesn't in calls to bring up your success rate
2) If you take a lot of calls every week, it's a lot of info to remember and it's nice to be able to refer back to a video meeting and know what exactly was said so you can use that to your advantage
3) If a team member is unable to join a call, they can easily listen afterward and get up to speed
4) They not only let you re-listen and watch, but also have transcription notes if it's hard to follow along

What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have is that when you go back and watch the video, you can only see the speaker/presentation. It would be helpful to see the other participants so you can gauge reactions and body language in general.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the fact that not everyone can always join a meeting (and this way can get caught up on their own time), and also solves when you forget what happens in a meeting.
It is very user friendly

Confusing and overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
The stats from calls saying who talked most and the percentages
What do you dislike about the product?
Theres just too much and it's very overwhelming... don't know how to really utilize it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

A Modern Tool for Modern Sellers
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an incredible tool for reviewing the hard work that you put into your calls. Not only can you listen to your calls, but their interface is smart enough to detect topics of interest such as:
- conversation topics
- % of time spent talking by person on the call
- follow ups
- text transcripts
- and more!
This tool has helped me realize where my natural strengths lie on a call, while also helping me work on my weaknesses. This software makes me better at my job, and for that I give it 10/10.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many bad things to say, but one area that I've suggested feedback is around templated feedback. I personally operate well under a repeatable system/expectation, so something as simple as a built-in "report card" would be great to consistently self-review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is solving for my problems in executing a consistent and repeatable sales cycle. Their feedback has helped me with identifying areas of opporutnity within my calls which has allowed me to take a deeper analysis of the subtext that occurs during conversation.
Helps to learn the products we offer and be able to review what we can improve on.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to watch others pitch the product, picking up product knowledge, and the sales techniques they use to improve my own. It's also nice being able to share videos with customers so they can share it with the decision makers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like being watched by others on my performance. It adds pressure as I feel like I'm being micromanaged and everything I say is being scrutinized. I also don't like to hear myself talk.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the lack of product knowledge by watching others demo the products. I also have a gap in how I present, so being able to watch others that do it well is very helpful.
Easy access and great speech to text feature
What do you like best about the product?
Call tracks, speech to text and call recording with the scripts and ease to share specific sections of a scripted conversation internally and externally with customer
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to get Gong in google meetings manually, I haven't seen an option to do so, it is only done automatically but sometimes it doesn't join a call/meeting
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call tracking and management. Easy to ready accurate speech to text feature for my team and the leadership team, it helps with quality purposes related to calls
My Experience with Gong for the Past Year
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Gong is the ease of use. I can quickly search past calls whether I was in attendance or not, and share them with others if needed very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike in my opinion. Main thing for any software is ease of use and this is easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the issue of potentially missing vital information in a meeting that impacts your job. I take notes at times but when I do it can be hard to keep up pending how much info is being shared in the meeting. Gong removes the need to try and remember and capture everything during a meeting because you can go back anytime and relisten to the conversation and skip through to the parts you need to hear.
Gong makes coaching and feedback seamless for sales teams.
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a quick and easy way to make sure every call is a coaching call. I love that I can hear what my coworkers are doing, and learn from them.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't really come across anything I don't like. The tool does what it says it will, and it's become a must-have for sales teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes coaching with your manager and team very easy. Rather than listening to call in real time together, we're able to do it async and leave feedback through the Gong platform. It really makes everything easier for everyone.
