An amazing tool for sales and CS teams

What do you like best about the product?
As a CS leader, gong allows me to have recordings and transcripts of the conversations and QBRs my team is having with customers. I can set up alerts for specific words or phrases (I.e. Cancel, merger, acquisition, renewal, etc) and get emails when these are used.

As well, gong has better pipeline analysis and tracking than hubspot, which is crazy. The integrations work perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the features and literature are still sales focused but the platform continues to move in a direction that better supports CS teams. I also wish you could make more of the email alerts go to slack as I get a ton of gong emails daily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording and tracking of conversations the CS team has, as well as storage of a massive number of call and screen recordings.

Pipeline analysis and warnings, alerting, and high level reporting on CS team activity.

Call scoring with rubrics.

Amazing product for sales enablement

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things that I like about the product - easily review call recordings, search for key words, get insights and stats that are meaningful on activities, ability to provide feedback and standard scores on call recordings
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet - I cannot think of anything that I don't like about Gong - best thing is I had no formal training. The online resources are super helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales coaching, training and onboarding new team members, product training, demo score cards, pipeline and deal review

What do you like best about the product?
I love how it breaks down exaclty where on the call the customer's talking points were and any dead air. Helps track a conversation perfectly so I never have questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There wasn't much to disklike. Everything was pretty automated and simplified where I don't need to navigate notes with a headache. Gong takes care of all that therefore nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was losing track of notes from a call or if I was unable to notate something. Gong tracked the info I needed from the call exactly with stats alongside it, super beneficial.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to go back and review calls at any time makes it easy to reference something a customer said, or follow up that I need todo, and it removes the need to take notes in real-time. Also, having call transcripts makes it so easy to go and find something specific that was discussed and use it for customer follow-up as well as for my note-taking in systems like Gainsight. I also like that you can send a snippet of a call to someone, we've used this internally to send to other CSMs, or to support when a customer explained something complex that they're trying to accomplish. This allows us to not have to try and re-explain it secondhand, we can just send a snippet of a call over to a teammate and they can watch the discussion. I also like that you can see where specific individuals spoke in the call and then click on that for a fast track to their comments in the discussion. The most valuable thing for me though is the ability to use control F in the transcript of the call and find specific things we discussed. As a CSM I also find the follow-up reminders that come from Gong to be helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to download the transcript so I could view it easier and translate it into my notes. It's a bit clunky to skim through in the Gong format, and I end up having to put my notes into Gainsight after each call so it'd be nice to download it into something that could be edited, it would save me a step. Also, the search function for when you're searching for a call on the Gong homepage is a bit finicky. I'm used to just quickly typing in a customer name and searching but you have to choose "all call titles with X customer name in it" to get to what you're looking for, otherwise, it populates a weird mix of results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It records every call so when you're in the moment, you don't have to take notes, you can easily go back and reference a recording and/or search the transcript if there's just one piece of information you're looking for. This makes it easy as a CSM to do call follow-up with a customer as well as grab what I need to make notes into CSM programs like Gainsight. I also like it as a coaching and training tool. When I was new to my role I could go in and watch how my colleagues presented certain data to customers and I was able to form talk tracks and take verbatim out of the call transcript to make my presentation notes. I also will send my manager calls from time to time and ask for their feedback. Managers can also show you pretty cool data within Gong about how often you talk in a meeting, if you're patient and wait for the other participant to speak, etc, which I find valuable for enhancing my presentation skills.

What do you like best about the product?
The insights that Gong provides are incredibly easy to understand. I've been lucky enough to use Gong as both a sales rep and a sales manager, and the information provided is almost always salient and concise, while the corrections it recommends are almost always helpful and easy to put into action.
What do you dislike about the product?
With any program that's as powerful as Gong, there's always going to be the danger to run into "noise", or information that's provided that isn't necessary. Gong typically does a good job of limiting the noisy data, but now and then I'm presented with information that isn't helpful to me keeping track of my pipeline or optimizing my conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing pipelines is always difficult from a leadership and a sales rep perspective. Gong helps solve the pipeline management problem by allowing me to very rapidly understand the health of my team's pipeline, while also providing optimal strategies for moving deals down the funnel.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to access conversations with clients, and surface up the important details that I may have missed in client or partner calls. I also LOVE listening to Sales & other Account Manager calls to learn something new, and grow as a CSM.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function can be a little tricky sometimes as it leads me to a page that doesn't list out a call with a particular client, or internal member. Instead it leads me to have to navigate to a search manually for the call / client / internal partner I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Gong allows a meeting host to focus on the meeting and the conversation being had instead of multi-tasking by taking notes. It mitigates the distraction aspect of a meeting that I've experienced at other companies that don't use Gong.

The deal board has been the most helpful as it shows engagement and flags if things were not discussed during the demos.

What do you like best about the product?
Perfect for quickly reviewing meeting notes, or for sharing entire presentations with customers and coworkers. Gong has significantly improved my day to day work life.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI will not always capture the correct words, so sometimes it's difficult to read the transcription of the calls, but I'm sure that will continue to improve over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Implementation Lead I often need to review what has happened with a customer during the sales cycle to be fully prepared once they are passed on to me for the onboarding phase - Gong lets me review all of the past conversations with a customer at double speed to ensure that I'm up to date on everything. I can also record all of my onboarding and training sessions and send them directly to the customer so that anyone who was absent for the meeting or wants to review certain elements of what we went over on their own time is able to do so.
