What do you like best about the product?
The follow up emails. I really am glad being able to generate follow up emails after calls so easily in addition of having the transcription and recording. And the timelines. Being able to see when was the last call or email with someone is really helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration with google meets is wonky. It not always shows up, or shows up late, and the message about the meeting being recorded ALWAYS appear in the most random times interrupting the call
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes it was impossible taking notes while screensharing and talking. Gong is a great ally for that and making sure all the following actions are completed without missing anything and it also saves a lot of time with the follow up emails

not as good of a notetaking tool as other platforms ive used like granola ai where you can ask it specific questions about the call after

Efficient Meeting Insights with Useful Automations, But video playback could be improved
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can learn a lot about cross functional teams and how they operate. This helps me have better overall knowledge of my company and industry I work for. I also love the time saving automations that Gong provides such as the Next Steps and email drafts. I like how it seamlessly connects to other software such as Zoom with minimal setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did notice quite a few glitches in video playback where the video became distorted and the audio was muffled when I switched to a different tab and came back to Gong. I had to refresh to resolve the issue. I don't love the search functionality and think it can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps me gain invaluable insights as to what is going on within my organization without the need to join every meeting. I can listen to important updates on my own time and can quickly glance at important recordings that are relevant to me thanks to the AI summaries provided. it provides me with short summaries and can even write my next steps so I don't have to type them out in an email.

What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Gong is how it brings everything together in one place. The deal boards are a game-changer for pipeline management, making it easy to identify risks, track deal progression, and spot key opportunities at a glance. The way you can click into a deal, ask AI to summarize key points, and get insights like blockers or pain points is incredibly useful. It keeps everything transparent, helps us stay multi-threaded, and drives better, more informed conversations. The ability to coach team members using snippets, smart trackers, and AI analysis is also huge. It makes one-on-ones and pipeline reviews so much more impactful and less about info-dumping.
The ease of use and integration with tools like Salesforce has been pretty seamless, and support from Gong has been great. They’re super responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions or needed assistance. It’s also exciting to see how features like AI-driven insights and smart trackers continue to evolve, providing even more value to our teams.

What do you dislike about the product?
One challenge with Gong is that some features, like tracking related contacts or meeting types for recurring events, don’t fully align with our workflows yet. For example, we’ve noticed gaps with Salesforce’s related contact functionality and how it connects to Gong, which can impact activity tracking. It’s something we’re hoping to see evolve.
Additionally, while Gong offers an incredible amount of data and insights, it can feel overwhelming for newer team members to navigate and fully utilize all the capabilities. That said, with their robust support team and ongoing training, it’s been easier to address these challenges and keep improving.

Gong helps us improve forecasting accuracy, identify deal risks, and drive more strategic pipeline management. It’s made it easier to ensure our team is multi-threading, capturing key information, and staying on top of next steps. The AI insights save time and provide clarity on deal progress, while the coaching tools help strengthen our team’s skills. By consolidating data and providing actionable insights, Gong has made us more efficient and effective in achieving our sales goals.

The AI is purposeful and impactful. The ease of navigation of the UI, and to train users how to be most efficient within the platform.

I think the support ticket system could use some work.

When deal signals get unclear, tools like “Ask Anything” and AI-powered trackers bring much needed clarity in helping our teams spot risks earlier, track critical topics like pricing or tariffs, and adapt quickly to market shifts. The AI Briefer has been especially impactful in improving deal execution, enabling faster and more informed decision-making across the pipeline.

One area where Gong could improve is in handling non-customer interactions, such as those with third party partners or internal stakeholders. These interactions can unintentionally cloud our data, particularly when contacts are associated with multiple accounts. While we’ve implemented domain blocks as a workaround, it still requires ongoing manual management, which isn't always efficient within the current system.
Another area for improvement is the accessibility of certain admin features, like managing domain blocks or call downloads. For example, the interface for managing email exclusions isn’t always user-friendly, which can slow things down. Small enhancements here would go a long way.

Gong helps us tackle challenges like understanding customer churn risks, identifying market trends, and gaining better visibility into deal activity. It bridges communication gaps by capturing and analyzing conversations, which has been critical for sales, customer success, and RevOps. For example, using trackers to monitor economic concerns has helped us proactively address potential risks. By providing actionable insights and enhancing collaboration, Gong has improved our decision-making and made our workflows more efficient across the board.
Gong didn’t just improve my sales but it is also my sales coach.
What do you like best about the product?
It understands what i am feeling, also it makes me feel confident, as if I have finally found my virtual coach. It also helps me to improve my communication. It is easy to use with no complications. I would recommend it to beginners, as it allows you to be hands-on and learn easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that sometimes it shows too much information, and it gets a bit confusing to know what matters and what to be put up. It could be easier to use for new people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As i am not that tech-savvy , gong really helped me how to make sales conversations better. It corrects my mistakes without make me feel overwhelmed. Also, giving me an idea that what a client really wants to listen by providing me insights.
