Impressive software
What do you like best about the product?
I've been in the IT industry for a VERY long time, and this software and it's use of AI is very impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find a downside to using Gong. I'm not sure how much the licensing costs are but whatever it is our organization is getting a ton of value
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a reminder after calls of what you committed to your customers. Love it!
Great for catching up on calls!
What do you like best about the product?
Having a transcipt to be able to quickly scan through calls is incredibly useful!!! It means that we don't need to sit through calls that are super long and means I save time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any real downsides. I am very happy with how the product performs and it means that I can be more efficient at work. No areas where I would like to see improvements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have lots of client calls and it can be seen as rude or distracting if you are typing while they are talking.. Gong means that you can quickly check all meeting notes.

It's taken a bot longer than expected to get pipeline forecasting up and running

It is helping us onboard new sales reps, get them trained and productive, and give them ongoing guidance
Meeting notes and analytics I didn't know I needed!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to search for meeting information through a keyword search in the transcript has been a game changer. I come back to a meeting recording knowing I need some details, but it's always been difficult to pin point where in the meeting to go. Being able to search for what I need has been extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main point of struggle comes from meetings that are really long resulting in large video files. Being able to load and search large meeting recording can be difficult and somethings the page will freeze/crash and I have to restart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me in being able to reference meeting details that I either forgot or am missing in my notes. The ability to reference back to very specific points in a meeting and to get analytics on how the meeting went has been extremely helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to see calls live on air as well as review calls from not just you but from your team as well. The transcript and numbers being recorded down with the filters as well

nothing really i think gong overall is a well built app that provides a lot of experience to inexperienced people. i would like to see maybe more filter in place

listening to sales calls and being able to pick up on certain phrases and how to use tonality. Studying the way of how to do sales techniques and everything like
With Gong, you can focus on being present during your calls with no worries of missing any notes!

Being able to take notes after the meeting so that I can be more present.

I think I dislike the feeling of being recorded, but am quickly getting over that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is making the sales process more robust. Being able to go back and watch my meetings to better prepare for the next meeting is a huge benefit.
Very helpful for reviewing action items and sentiment of calls
What do you like best about the product?
As a CSM I am often trying to be as present as possible during client calls. Gong helps me "stay in the moment" because I know everything will be recorded and I can listen later to note any details, action items, or follow-ups I may have missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to remove Gong from Zoom calls (it's very intuitive from Google Meet). I also think the transcriptions could be better (I don't always want to listen and would rather read).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above it helps me with follow-ups and action items. Also as a tool as a manager reviewing my direct reports call to offer constructive feedback on what went well and what could be improved upon.

What do you like best about the product?
I would recommend GONG because of how seamless the browser and accessibility are enabled on the site. It is set up where I can easily find important calls. As well as, setting up folders make filtering easier for me to review specific categories. Overall, GONG to me is a great benefit to use to help me review calls and demos I could demonstrate in the future. It is entirely used as a resource for me on my regular schedule just because reviewing my team's conversations does help in improvement on my end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the inaccurate transcript translation. Only because when it is needed most for me to understand a conversation the transcript is either cut out or translated incorrectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am unsure what GONG is in the process of solving but, a great help would be a human verification to evaluate conversations to be translated correctly. Also, if the video be shifted to a transparent image when I pull up the transcript would make paragraphs easier to read.
Great tool for sales and internal collaboration with post-sale teams
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to search keywords as part of questions. The level of search customization is truly outstanding. I can filter by topics, speakers, dates, and even opportunity stages. Gong also allows me to get insights through AI on all my opportunities for the year and quarter. It spots risk based on historical data, not only about things that have been said or not brought up but also analyzes who has been involved in every opportunity to give me a thorough analysis of the health of my business. I really like how I can share snippets of calls with both internal and external stakeholders, while gaining visibility on how much of the recording the viewed and who was the person that accessed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. Sometimes calls don't sync properly with Zoom but you can always download and upload manually. I don't see any major issues as of now, they are also constantly adding new features and making the platform more intuitive + with each rollout they ask for feedback which makes for a healthy positive loop. I've been a Gong user for 3 years now in multiple organizations and have seen the platform grow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to take notes during calls is a thing of the past, now I can actually focus on having conversations. It solves having to paraphrase to managers or peers what clients said. It is also incredibly helpful to be able to replay recording at an accelerated speed.
