Its very easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to listen to our and my colleagues' best calls and implement the best inputs on my calls. The comment section and the tagging method is also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such. Sometimes I felt difficulty finding good calls, but eventually, I learned how to work on Gong. One more thing, the call recording takes a bit longer time to reflect in Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The call quality of mine, my rate of speech, and the words I am using on the call. It allows me to listen to the best calls taken by my mates. It helps us to put comments as well.

Being able to automatically link to links that the client has shared will be useful.

Allowing us to learn from other people, making us better in our craft.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong lets me focus and get into the flow of the meeting. I no longer need to manually take transcripts of what people are saying, and can pay more attention to nonverbal cues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. I wish it were possible to onboard with a free trial, not just for one person at the company, but multiple team members. Or maybe my company is just stingy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes it easy to get more data points out of sales calls. Does this approach work better? Before, we'd have to guesstimate. With Gong, we can know for certain.
Helps to be strategic in my calls
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to learn from other SDRs and taking listen to my past calls, Gong helps me formulate and strategize for better calls in the future. Having that ability to look back and learn from past calls helps me progress in my cold calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit difficult to find my most recent calls. I usually have to wait for a way before they show up. Would love to be able to access calls that occurred the same day. Other than that, no complaints!

Can instantly search for texts that were said from 100's of recorded calls

In some (rare) cases the recording is a bit broken

1. forgetting what was on a call - gong records and transcribes everything

What do you like best about the product?
Have nothing but good things to say about Gong. My team uses the Deal board religiously to help get insight into deal progression, last activity, and potential at risk pipeline. Plus being able to access my entire team's library of calls for call coaching purposes has made us all better sellers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a few times that Gong has not registered a call or activity, or the platform has gone down as a whole. And as someone that relies on the tool pretty consistently to prepare for upcoming calls, this can definitely be an issue. However, I don't know how much of this is totally in Gong's control. Slight inconvenience that seldom happens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a seller, Gong has helped me to become a better seller by listening to others on my team, suggesting "assists" or coaching feedback, identifying long monologues or buzz words mentioned, and all around just evaluating my calls in a holistic point of view. Truly allows me to get a deep view into where I'm excelling and where I could really be focusing my time on improving.
Over all great product and great to help improve sales and operations.
What do you like best about the product?
I can listen to my calls and my teammate's call to help improve our process. Our sales team has been able to monitor sales and increase productivity and reduce mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall it is a good product. I wish there would be a few more software integrations with smaller software. However, we managed to figure out how to work around it.

Gong will help us solve our sales process and help increase productivity. Our sales team will be able to improve and our sales team be able to increase efficiency.
Useful for keeping track of past conversations

I can easily confirm what was said in a conversation with a client or colleague.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not always remember to use it, maybe an occasional reminder to use it for calls would be useful

It has helped me go back to a client and confirm something that we were unsure was discussed or not.
Great tool especially when you have back to back calls
What do you like best about the product?
Best part, I do not have to take notes. I can easily share the call or part of the call with stakeholders or with my team. This is very helpful. I always use this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Translation needs to be improved. Sometimes, I can hear a person speaking clearly, but the translation is not up to the mark. There are some bugs when I review the transcript for the text to send someone as a message.

Action Items and MOM (Minutes of Meeting). This is super helpful. I also use the data analytics part to help me evaluate how much I speak vs the other parties on the call.
Useful for Note Taking / Improving
What do you like best about the product?
Gong Helps me be present in calls so that I can leave the note-taking part for after the call. Furthermore, it is a useful tool to improve on certain aspects and habits to be more effective at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is the robo disclaimer that happens at the very start of the call. This can be slightly alarming for folks who have never used Gong before in their life.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves 3 problems:
- improved note-taking, which is especially useful for technical or complex discussions
- improved feedback loop, to learn from mistakes
- if there is ever a misunderstanding, I can refer to the recording which will clarify the situation
