Gong has fundamentally changed the way peers and managers engage with coaching and developing.
What do you like best about the product?
Coaching ability, analytics, and ability to comment! Also love Salesforce integration and the fact that Gong speaks back to Salesforce, allowing easy forecasting
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really find anything I dislike about Gong. The filtering functionality is incredible and easy to manage representative pipelines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of the inconvenience of listening to calls and giving live feedback. It was impossible before Gong but this provides us with a history of calls and feedback given, and the analytics propose input for you. Additionally, it helps remove the pressure of taking notes during a call since it is recorded and available afterward.

You can tag people in parts of your recording to receive feedback.

It takes some time to figure out how everything works and where to find what.

I am not sure what problems Gong is solving right now but it will surely improve the service.

The feedback you get from your calls and the benefits are that we can check what we need to improve to get a nice call.

It is a beautiful tool for listening, improving your pitching skills, and flaunting your best practices to your team and team leads.

The Transcripts interpretation could be better. But it's funny when you read it

I have been using Gong.io for the past few months, and I have to say that it has been a game-changer for our sales team. The call analytics feature has given us insights into how our sales calls are going and where we can improve. It's amazing to see how much we've improved our pitch and close rates just by analyzing the data that Gong.io provides.

The interface is not very user-friendly (coming form an administrative side), and there is a significant learning curve when it comes to navigating the different features.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to receive a transcript of your conversation with customers, to be able to go back and review how customers reacted, and the ability to learn how you stack up vs. top performers in simply invaluable to the modern day sales professional.
What do you dislike about the product?
After 3.5 years of use, I really have nothing negative to say about Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong eliminates the need for me to take notes during a call, allowing me to purely focus on the customer and their needs. Gong teaches me how I'm performing vs. my peers in terms of question asking rates, patience, longest monolgue, and more. These insights help me be a better professional.

What do you like best about the product?
One cohesive spot for all the calls previous/current reps have run. Allows me to do research on previous closed lost opportunities to re-engage aappropriately.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of bells and whistles that I'm not fully versed in.

Helps me keep an eye on the deals i've sourced and how they are/are not going through the sales funnel.
Great tool for coaching people new to sales, while also helping the veterans improve
What do you like best about the product?
Grading different aspects of a sales call. I love seeing the green dots telling me that I'm in the recommended ranges for the amount I talk, the amount my clients talk, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is when I'm creating a Teams invite and using the "make it a gong meeting" button. It's cumbersome to log into the meeting and doesn't feel intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me catch tidbits of info I may have missed while relying on my listening ability/taking notes. It's also more organized than my manilla folders filled with notes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Gong highlights action items from meetings and reminds me to follow up on them. Very intuitive technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I've ever had is that Gong sometimes shows up late to a meeting. This happened once or twice, and it was about 1/3 through a 15 minute meeting.

Before Gong we were not recording calls. I'm a new employee so having this database of all the calls we make is really helpful.
