Sensational platform for meeting reviews and follow-up tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely helpful that Gong records and lists all participants of the call when some participants aren't necessarily registered in the meeting invite that helps with building out a better contact list, not to mention the helpful callouts with the meeting and jumping to sections of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the limited period for sharing a call with a customer before it expires is not helpful. This could be a company policy or software that I may not be aware of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps solve the gap where volumes of calls and meetings occur on a daily basis and given me a practical way of managing notes and follow-up actions so that I don't miss a beat.

Nothing - this is an awesome product. Make it a little easier to click on a specific moment in a call

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great tool to utilize if you are like me and can never remember anything! I can go back and listen to calls anytime instead of asking the same questions again!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could integrate Going into incoming calls and that the UI will flip horizontal on mobile devices/Ipads.

Memory, learning and development
An absolute game-changer for AE's
What do you like best about the product?
Just being able to easily recap previous discovery or demo calls prior to next meetings is incredibly useful. Before, I had to suffer through the clunky UI of Zoom's recording library, which doesn't tie to our CRM. With Gong, I can look up calls based on the deal stage, by customer, by keywords (and knowing who said what). The new Assists tool is also beneficial to ensure I don't let essential tasks fall through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything off the top of my head. I'm a huge fan of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me stay on top of my tasks and capture insights on calls that I can easily digest to make sure I'm not scribbling down notes frantically on a call.
More than a CRM
What do you like best about the product?
When started studying for the certification, I found out that Gong is a very detailed tool that you can benefit in many aspects of your line of business. Amazing initiative.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is easy to get lost in the tool because there are tons of things you can do. One must excel using Gong to fully benefit from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
evaluating calls in a fun and interactive way, our agents also evaluate each other for better quality analysis.

There are no major downsides to Gong, overall it works well for me.

Allowing me to focus on strengthening my partnership with clients and identify trends from meeting to meeting.
Gives me the ability to focus on calls while "taking notes" that I can review at a later stage.

Pushy emails about certain deals. I don't use GONG for the CRM functions

It gives me the ability to focus on my calls and not needing to take notes. It enables me to always "remember" certain deal details
Crucial Tool For My Job
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to send snippets of my calls to my manager for focused feedback and discussion during our 1:1s. I love being able to review my calls and the fact that I can capture everything the customer says. Gong allows me to improve my demos and empowers me as a seller. I will demand it at every company I go to moving forward!
What do you dislike about the product?
More gong! I would love an app where I can listen to calls on the go and offline. I want to be able to use the tool on runs and morning walks. I would also love more easily accessible statistics about my tool usage and the on-call feedback that it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me be a better seller. Using gong, I can easily send snippets to my manager for feedback. I love the comments section sidebar, it allows me to easily track our conversation around what I highlight.
Make your sales flow hit even harder
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy being able to watch "game film" and seeing the ratio between talking & listening. Another aspect I like is the ability to learn from calls my colleagues have had in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of to be honest. Everything seems to work wonderfully; have yet to encounter any sort of system issues or delays. This tool feels like an essential one for every sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue of over selling on initial calls as well as lackluster discovery. Gong allows users, and managers, to see where areas of opportunity reside when selling!
Great for Sales + CS + Marketing + Product teams. Everyone needs Gong!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's forecasting and reporting truly simplifies what's going on within your business from a sales perspective. Their dashboard is much easier to read and collaborate in than any report in Salesforce. Gong gives both our sales reps and our sales leaders more immediate visibility into our sales pipeline and instantly helps find gaps, so you can manage deals more efficiently and effectively.
The AI insights are a huge timesaver - from deal intel to crafting follow up emails from client calls, I don't know how we could live without this now. I can get caught up on deal activity by reading a 30 second summary vs. having to scroll through Salesforce activity logs.
We use Gong Engage as well and it has been a gamechanger when it comes to building out flows, email/call templates and allows us to engage with our leads and contacts more quickly and efficiently.
Our product team uses Gong to get real-time client sentiment and to inform our dev roadmaps.
Marketing leverages Gong's keyword trackers to gain market insights and identitfy future case studies and our content marketing has leveled way up since the launch of Gong.
Overall, Gong eliminates silos between sales, marketing, cs and product and helps each individual know exactly where their focus should go on a day to day basis.

What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding was a self-service model when we first onboarding and that took longer than expected due to time constraints. I would have liked more hand-holding as we started to stand this up. Pricing is high for smaller companies, making it a large chunk of your sales software budget.
Sometimes small bugs creep in, but they don't overly impact our business and their support team is usually fairly quick to respond. Sometimes the support team "speaks" in dev talk or asks for very technical things back from the client in order to troubleshoot, which can be hard for the everyday salesperson to understand (and creates more work).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is simplifying deal management and forecasting and helping us identify, rep-by-rep, what is helping them win or making them lose deals. The easy-to-read reports and dashboards make it easy for even new reps to dig in and discover what they can do more/less of and it gives leadership easy visibility into what's happening, rep-by-rep. This is saving us time, helping us have more valuable 1:1 sales check-ins and, helps us turn good calls/content into client testimonials that our marketing team is using to drive more qualified inbound leads. The Gong library is also used to help train and scale new reps.
