Upgrade Season!
What do you like best about the product?
Super helpful in terms of tracking and recording calls, but the insights into the talk tracks, timing, tips, etc. are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't really had a negative experience with anything Gong yet outside of their update that froze the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping our team analyze and improve on our calls and talk tracks.
Gong Provides Everything A Salesperson Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I use Gong daily to review my calls, search for keywords, confirm who was on the call & their role, and then provide my client with a link to their demo call that they can review with people unable to make the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negatives to share about Gong, it meets my specific requirements and I leverage it daily to enhance the way I work with my clientele. Keep on doing what you're doing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an accurate recording of the demo call, since they're very technical and have a ton of detail along with questions/answers that are super important to both my company and our clients. I can share quickly and determine how long they have access to the recording.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to "shadow" Gong calls as a new employee; it provides an asynchronous way to get customer interaction without having to book meetings.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing significant. The UI is easy to navigate. The calls are displayed nicely and I love being able to follow along with the transcript. I've never had connectivity issues when using Gong, which is nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to ramp up in my new role at a company. It also allows me to rewatch calls to capture notes that I might've missed during my call with the customer.
Gong as an onboarding tool
What do you like best about the product?
Bringing on new staff is a constant at growing companies. Ensuring that each new resource has a great onboarding experience is critical to both the employee and the company. We have made Gong a vital part of this process. We maintain a folder of Gong calls that are required viewing for each new seller. These calls are the most compelling examples of explaining what our company does and what value our products provide. Feedback from our new staff has been excellent. It is so much more effective than reading documentation and decks. Onboarding assistance is just one example of the many use cases Gong supports for us. But given the importance of reducing ramp time for new hires, Gong has made a difference.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not discovered anything specific that we dislike about Gong. Like anything, getting value from Gong requires effort from sales leadership and sellers. You must be committed to implementing Gong and making it a core part of your sales transformation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps reduce sales ramp time, which benefits us by shortening the time to seller productivity. Gong facilitates sales coaching, which benefits us by upskilling sellers in a practical manner.
Excellent Tool for QA
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is best for remembering the conversation you have forgotten. Using Gong can help you find the weaknesses in your word choice or approach. I have used one other utility like Gong. I can say Gong's layout for transcription and speech is more intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Gong, at the moment, is the transcription. It can be humorous at best and annoying at worst. Sometimes the words that are spoken do not transcribe accordingly.

Gong allows my team leaders to assess the conversations my colleagues and I have with clients to ensure we are meeting or exceeding the quality standards set by the company.
Great Platform for accurate coaching and enablement on new employees
What do you like best about the product?
The timeline of calls! It's great simple intuitive navigation method. I use it to validate the balance of conversation (esp in sales calls between sales rep, solution consultant and customer)

very little... it would be better if I can personally delete calls, but I suspect only a config setting!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching is the primary goal - I run a Presales team so use for coaching and ensuring consistency across the team and at scale
Must have tool in tech stack
What do you like best about the product?
Gone are the days of missing out on coaching because of schedule overlaps. Gong gives me the complete flexibility to coach reps when I have time (which can sometimes not be until 10 minutes between meetings, 7pm at night after the work day, etc). With Gong, my reps get the coaching they need to ramp and excel, and I don't have to worry about missing internal meetings or being on their calls live time as everything records.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any- Gong is a must have for sales orgs!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong call recording alone helps us categorize and library calls for reference- whether for ramping reps, tenured reps, product, marketing, and more. Their tags and alerts helps me coach on aspects we are trying to improve as an org, and their AI suggests gaps in the deals before I even comb through them saving me tons of time.
Great tool to shorten your sales cycle.
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is awesome! Gong helps to focus on the conversations I have with my clients and enables me to review these meetings to really understand what has been said and think about the best ways/strategies to move our conversations forward. Therefore it helps me to close bigger deals and also faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great, but it's also a lot. There a so many features which make it hard to really understand and use everything the tool has to offer. I would recommend introducing walkthroughs in which Gong can explain how all the different features work so users can get the most out of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is great for virtual meetings and enables you to focus on everything that has been said during the call and allows you to review the call when the meeting is over. This helps you to really understand the pain points of your clients. Less suited, of course, for F2F meetings and phone calls.
Game Changing
What do you like best about the product?
One of the biggest things right out of the gate as a CSM is the ability to view meetings across teams which helps fulfill the ethos of "all things pass through the CSM/AM"
What do you dislike about the product?
Slight learning curve and lots of moving parts, but nothing that is breaking. Documentation could be *slightly* better, but again this is also not a breaking issue.

Improves the onboarding experience of new employees, gives powerful insight into your sales pipeline and helps hone in on churn risk and expansion opportunities through keyword analysis
A Salesperson's Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
Gong offers a wide range of helpful features that help sellers coach and learn with data. Their solutions continuously expands to solve more problems for sales teams (some that I didn't even know I needed).
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has very little to complain about. I personally have not run into any issues that I cal list as a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping rep pipelines hyper-clean and allowing sellers to keep perfect notes (ability to review calls)
