Critical tool for any sales organization

What do you like best about the product?
I've now used Gong at two SaaS sales organizations. As a Sales Leader, its critical to have a tool my managers can use to coach and develop their sellers. We use GONG to understand where each seller's strengths and weaknesses are; we use it to develop a coaching plan and to pull through that coaching over the course of a month or quarter. We've also found the topics and insights particularly helpful in identifying larger themes that we can partner with Enablement to address. Finally, GONG serves as a way to provide scaled feedback direct from the customer's (recorded) words to our Product organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more to critique, but the tool works great for my organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Gong for the coaching and development of our sellers. Through Gong we are able to determine what the best sellers do on each call that drives improved outcomes and we're able to scale those learnings to the rest of the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is we can have all data within the folder and can search for calls we have done in the past through the search box.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we see the recordings of any call and at the same time we need a transcript of the video is suppressed, can we have a transcript like subtitles like in movies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can go through all recordings within organization as a open channel which really help the individual to get notes from call which is missing or to understand the SOP of organization

What do you like best about the product?
Transcribing meetings and assessing how successful a prospect may be to close based on pain points addressed in our call is very helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to use all the information collected to create successful scripts based on our specific customers, sales people & most common objections
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Going helps with note taking, projections and forecasting, everything to do with deciphering the info in your CRM. It pairs well with Salesforce to really understand the process of your prospects and customers before during and after the sale.

What do you like best about the product?
The way it breaks up meetings by who is speaking and when screen-sharing is happening. Makes it very easy to find what I am looking for!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the search filters do not return what I need, and I have to adjust my search a few times before finding what I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Best thing is for coaching myself on peers calls and also being able to review all of my customer conversations

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong helps me with Follow up items that I committed to on the call and it emails me the follow up items.
It makes it a cinch to keep ahead of my tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far it's hard to decide what I don't like about it. Maybe mostly its just a change from what I'm used to. People don't like change and I'm definitely one of them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer Success will most likely get more efficient and it should help us have clearer, and more concise converstations. It's painful to hear yourself at first but i know in the end it will be great.

An incredibly helpful tool that works almost seamlessly!

What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to use due to the plugin with our systems, and so you barely even notice that it is working in the background. It allows conversations and calls to flow so much more, as you know that everything is being recorded.
The transcripts are processed pretty quickly, and the email link you receive post-call is amazing - you are given a list of follow up tasks, and even given tips on how to improve.
Wherever I go in my career, I hope Gong is used.
What do you dislike about the product?
These are minor points as my overall experience with Gong is fantastic.
Sometimes the recommendations for improvement are not relevant, as context is not taken into consideration - for example a high talk ratio is a given during a demonstration or walkthrough.
There are occasional errors in the transcript but compared to other AI transcript apps I have used, Gong is one of the best I have come across.
Finally, sometimes topics are labelled incorrectly or not at all, but this is not a big issue for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to run client calls without worrying about taking notes. This means I can concentrate fully on the client and I can think more critically and be more involved in the call, getting more high quality insights and having more detailed conversations.
It also saves me time post-call by collating my follow up actions.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can go back to my conversation and give me feedback. When you or a customer bring something about a previous call that I don't remember, I can easily go back and find out what was said and when.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI won't translate right and the words are kind of disconnected from what you really said. Not a big deal, but sometimes it's hard to understand what that means and you have to listen to the conversation instead reading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like to listen to my own calls and I also like to listen to my peer's calls. I like how easy and convenient Gong is. A supervisor can create library content based on a specific part of our sales process. If I am struggling in a specific area, I can go to the library and listen to calls (snippets).

- Transcribing sessions (if recorded) with all action items highlighted;
- Reminders of followups sorted by account;
- Easy editing of recordings.

User interface could be slightly better, but they are constantly improving.

What do you like best about the product?
I am extremely satisfied with this platform. It has exceeded my expectations in various aspects. However, if there's one area I believe has room for improvement, it would be the report and analytics feature. While the existing functionality is commendable, I would greatly appreciate the ability to manipulate and showcase different figures and sections. Furthermore, integrating the platform with popular tools like ZOHO would elevate GONG to unparalleled heights, setting it apart from other applications in the market. With these enhancements, GONG would truly become the pinnacle of excellence among all the diverse apps available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. If GONG could improve or add more features in the analytics & report department, it would set this platform apart from the rest. Integration with ZOHO would be even better.

I recently started using Gong to manage our team's deal stages, and I must say it has been incredibly helpful.
