ESSENTIAL Software
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to go back and listen to all your calls in addition to any calls within the company is absolutely invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really point to anything really, maybe more accurate analytics, but it's already very good and gives you a ton of insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me review my calls and other calls in the org to learn how to become a better sales person and gain knowledge on positioning as well as numerous nuances.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I no longer have to beg my team to send me their call recordings. Being able to access, listen to, comment on most/all of their customer calls from one site has made my life a lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any downsides to report at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for coaching my Customer Success Managers. I'm primarily looking to give them feedback on how well they are obtaining business goals and impact statements from our customers. We then use this information to help us position us better come renewal time.

The ease of use, the analytics, and coaching functionality

Not much. Sometimes it will not auto-join calls because of user's Zoom or Google settings.

I love that Gong can accurately capture action items from calls, where are then delivered as timely follow-ups to ensure I am closing the loop on customer conversations. Gong also has a great ability to provide insights from customer calls, ensuring that I continue to iterate my communication style for the best possible outcome with each and every customer interaction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Gong is the ideal call tracking, note taking, and call analytics platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me track my day-to-day calls, follow-ups and emails. Creating a single source of truth for my customer communications. It also allows me to reflect on my conversations with key insights, which ensures I continue to improve the way I work.

I love the ability to splice calls and share snippets internally.

It takes time - you really have to invest time into using it or it's simply a video recorder.

We can get customer feedback directly to product teams and leadership. When training in new team members, they can watch the best (and worst) situational calls.

Gong is helpful to circle back on the next steps and note-taking you missed during the call. Fantastic platform that is easy to use and helps teams learn from eachother

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is outrageously helpful when it comes to analyzing and summarizing calls. I use Gong to review all of my customer calls, and their tools and features help make me a better Account Manager. Gong is a major asset in my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any downsides to using Gong. It seems to be far more effective and helpful than any similar service. It does its job in a simple and effective way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps people on my team with call analysis. It helps us break down previous calls so that we can better analyze how our calls are going. We are able to quickly and effectively identify trends in our calls, seeing what is and isn't working.
One of if not the best Conversation Intelligence recording platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The platform itself is very intuitive and easy to get around, there are no hidden passages to get to the reports or dashboards you want.
The analysis part of the software does the majority of the work for managers and its just more about actually viewing the recording and understanding how to analyses it.

The general onboarding process was incredibly long.
A bit invasive and some of the sggestions don't really allign with what is said in the call sometimes.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This was one of our main focuses for the year and it was to implement better sales processes.
I can definitely see the benefit in analysing conversations and helping the sales team understand where they can improve, although this requires a lot of adoption from Coaches and senior managers where we have struggled to implement a bit.

Gong is empowering our entire team to be better on all meetings.

Gong has been helpful for reviewing and improving how we interact with customers, as well as helps us be more focused and present without having to take notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription is far from perfect, meaning we have to rewatch the call to get the true understanding of what was said.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In CS, it allows us to have full recordings of what was said, action items that are necessary, and therefore allows us to engage on calls through active listening
