Possibly the best way to get certified
What do you like best about the product?
Before Scytale we were running around like headless chickens trying to gather long-gone evidence. Our evidence was all over the place, and we often had to dig deep into unreadable archives to find what we needed.
Once we had Scytale integrations up and running, most critical evidence auto-collected itself, and the evidence that couldn't, we were reminded of.
Becoming proactive in our SOC2 journey has been a game-changer.

What do you dislike about the product?
I've not yet found anything I disliked about it. I'd love to see more integrations, though!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gathering evidence, especially backward-dating evidence, is a huge pain. Not all systems provide you with such capability and without Scytale you must try to organize all evidence so it's easy to browse (near impossible!)

What do you like best about the product?
Scytale utilizes a decentralized compliance approach, resulting in the dispersion of the entire process among multiple asset owners. This can be quite overwhelming for a small startup like ours, where we currently lack a designated individual to coordinate these efforts.
Fortunately, we have implemented automation to streamline numerous compliance tasks, thereby minimizing the need for manual intervention. Our focus on automation has significantly reduced the amount of manual work required, with manual efforts now primarily dedicated to tasks where automation does not provide substantial value.

Scytale is a great partner in achieving compliance certifications such as SOC-2.
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale is very easy to use and the staff is very insightful and helpful when it comes to dealing with the controls needed for the certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations need expertise on the app but Scytale managed to explain it in detail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us to get SOC-2 compliance which most of our users need us to be certified. Scytale made it easy for us to comply with the controls and policies needed.

The integrations to other systems, the "big picture" view and above all - the close work with Scytale team who are available for any question and help
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial for the Scytale system to integrate with Slack for internal communication and alerts. This integration could allow users to tag people in the Scytale system, which would then trigger an alert in Slack.
Additionally, I've noticed that certain alerts are recurring even after they've been removed, which can be frustrating. It would be great if this issue could be addressed to avoid unnecessary distractions.

Getting SOC2 certificate requires a lot of work in different fields, and Scytale makes it much easier and accesible.

Actually its very intuitive,so nothing to dislike.

First, Scytale generated the tasks for us
Second, we can set the task to the relevant person so nothing disappears.
Also, we can consult with someone if the issue is unclear.

Clear and automated tracking for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
You can see all compliance tasks in one place, grouped by compliance framework, and lots of task tracking is automated via integration with tools like github, AWS
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some pages can be slightly slow to load, and filters / sorting can be cleared when taking certain actions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing easy tracking and enumeration of tasks needed to be compliant with a given framework eg. SOC2, ISO 27001. These specifications are very lengthy and confusing and Scytale makes it much more easy to understand for non-lawyers

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparation for security audits like ISO27001, SOC2 etc. especially for first-timers, gets much more accessible, more manageable and improve your chances for success.

The service is excellent, The application comes pre built with very useful templates allowing a quick ramp up.

The platform is a bit sluggish and tracking of changes could be improved

Leur service : le fait qu'il y ait une personne dédiée qui travaille avec vous et vous aide à résoudre toutes les questions de conformité de manière satisfaisante (mise en œuvre des processus requis, ajout d'outils), tout en s'assurant que vous n'ajoutez que ce qui est nécessaire et a du sens pour notre taille (nous n'étions que 6 personnes lors de l'audit, ce qui a simplifié beaucoup de choses).

Rien de spécial. Leur système peut se développer davantage et devenir plus mature, ce dont je suis sûr qu'il le fera. Mais pour nous, c'était complémentaire au service, et non l'élément principal.

Scytale nous offre un service et un outil pour gérer la conformité SOC2 (et probablement d'autres types de conformité à l'avenir). Ils sont très professionnels et dévoués et sont capables de gérer la préparation de l'audit de manière à ce que l'audit réel soit très fluide et ne prenne pas beaucoup de temps.
