Solid platform that suits our SLA
What do you like best about the product?
We use our DAM solution in critical "always on" consumer facing applications, and have strict SLA to respect towards our customers. In the years that we have been using Scaleflex, we never experienced any flaw that would have caused a SLA breach on our side. Besides the reliability, we appreciate additional functionality to automatically reduce image footprint, benefitting our response times and cost.
The solution was easy to implement. We particularly appreciated the commercial flexibility when we encountered an error causing high consumption of DAM traffic.

What do you dislike about the product?
This platform has many features, which are sometimes hard to find and understand. I believe that with proper training, we could extend our use of the solution

Ensure that we keep our promises towards our customers in serving images.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the option to share with external parties through a link, selections of materials that they can download and edit (cut the size) without needing to make them users of the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
What has given us the most problems are the massive uploads of materials via FTP, as I cannot leave them directly in the corresponding folder and I have to leave them in a folder created especially for FTP uploads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One thing to improve is the implementation of metadata in multiple files at once. I think it is much more practical how it works when you add metadata to just one image. The reason is that to add metadata massively, you have to confirm the metadata one by one. In contrast, when you add metadata individually, you select them all at once and then it allows you to confirm them all at once.

When we had any problems then the support responds in a timely manner with good quality solutions.

The price seems compared to cometitors outside of the EU high but its appropriate

Its stores our images and the user get them optimized how they/we need it shown.
A Seamless Solution for Our Asset Management
What do you like best about the product?
Filerobot by Scaleflex offers an impressive blend of user-friendliness and feature depth.
Integrating it into our workflows was straightforward, thanks to its extensive and clear documentation. It’s evident that a lot of thought has gone into creating a product that not only meets but exceeds expectations. I regularly use Filerobot throughout my work week and continue to discover new, valuable features that enhance efficiency.
Their support team is exceptional, when I encountered an issue uploading a restricted file type (for account security it's restricted by default), they explained the situation, resolved it quickly and then when I explained I had managed to do it before, they respectfully asked if I could recreate the steps, which I was happy to, so that they could flag it for the safety of other users which I was thoroughly impressed by.

I haven't found anything to dislike. The platform is easy to use, performs reliably, and has exceptional customer support should I encounter an issue.

Filerobot replaced two expensive and underperforming systems we previously used, consolidating our asset management needs into one efficient, cost-effective solution with more than what the last two systems offered. It has streamlined our workflows, making asset management simpler and faster. Its range of features allows us to organise, manage, and optimise our digital assets effectively, saving us time and resources and when we're up against time, when we need to quickly find an asset, it finds it quickly without any issues.
A very powerful tool for storing and standardisation of all your digital assets
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, the flexibility of the team to support you in anything you need help with, the openness to hear your needs and respond in an efficient way to support your processes. It has everything we need, but most of all it helped us save hours of manual work with the automated presets. It has also integrations with tools that we use within our company processes so it makes it very convinient and again easy to work with.

Nothing at the moment, we are working on few things to optimise the tool for our company needs

Centralised repository for all of our digital assets, automation wen it comes to repeated imagery adjustments and an easier searcheability thanks to the metadata & taxonomy features. Plus, portals that is essential for the business.

Filerobot allows us to keep our non-tree structure of our images which were stored in an oracle database.

The attention that the company in general gave to our challenges, both at a mechanical level, but also at a tactical and strategic level
What do you dislike about the product?
The depth of documentation, especially around the open source components that extends the use case for the FileRobot system is shallow - so we had to rely on the good support from the team, instead of being self served.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a strategic component added to our core PIM offering, which was DAM capabilities and instead of developing them ourselves we opted to utilize FileRobot as the Yin to our Yang.
The more I learn about the tool, the more I discover bugs and strange behavior.

What do you dislike about the product?
The logs are not available, we need to go through a customer support analysis to understand what is happening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact of having our hundreds of millions of images available at the root The volume of assets we have is quite substantial, scaleflex prevents us from investing in storage arrays that could become obsolete quickly
An easy to use DAM with a comprehensive API
What do you like best about the product?
Filerobot is an easy to handle Digital Asset Manager. Thanks to the comprehensive API we have been able to easily integrate it into our workflow. It has become a tool that we use every day.
I like that the interface is not cluttered with useless features. Everybody in our team is happy to have a centralised tool that helps us manage our assets at every step of production.
When we face any difficulty, the support team is reachable by email and answer pretty fast.

The platform is still new, so we have encountered a few hiccups during the integration phase, but the support team has been helpful.

We needed a tool that can store all our assets (+20k files) and allow us to reference them with our particular classification.
The API is a key benefit because we can rely on some automated tasks to communicate efficiently between the different parts of our team: photographers, editors, developers, marketing.
