Easy and cheap to use, but better communication required
What do you like best about the product?
Very simple to use for both home and work, whether using my PC or phone to connect to websites or apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
When the most recent breach occurred, the communication was delayed and I did not see the email about it for several days if not weeks after that. They should have pushed the notification through the app itself to help people see the concern and the need to update their passwords. They should have also protected the data better using our master passwords or other ways to mask it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to use more complex passwords to better safeguard my accounts.
WAS great...
What do you like best about the product?
I loved the ease of use, the look, the user interface, all was great. Then, after the data breaches (yes, plural), I sadly couldn't trust the security any longer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data breaches. The service was absolutely perfect but I just couldn't trust it anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass solved my password problem. Exactly what it said it was going to do. It was great! I wish it would stayed great. I had one login for everything - and it created my passwords!
You have to remember just one password
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using LastPass for the last eight years and am happy with my experience.
It works on multiple devices and multiple browsers. It is very convenient to have the LastPass browser extension installed. Every time you create any new account somewhere it catches your username and password and offers to add this site to your vault in the cloud. It also offers to generate a random password for you. Every time you change the password it asks if you want to update it in the vault. It also offers passwordless login options using Push notifications and an authenticator app on your mobile device. You always have a local version of your vault on your device which is synced to the cloud.

What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I cannot say that I don't like anything about LastPass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to remember hundreds of usernames and passwords. Saves time logging in.
so much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is that I no longer have to remember passwords except for the master password.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes it doesn't pop up automatically. I get so used to the convenience!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have much stronger passwords now because I don't have to remember them all & my passwords are also more varied & more complex
Great product but no longer the BEST product
What do you like best about the product?
Lastpass makes password management seamless. Feel free to forget them all and create the most gnarly long passwords you want.
Lastpass is the long-time 500 lb guerilla.
Lasspass has been hacked, which now makes them hypersensitive to any design issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
- It's not open source
- it's $3/month vs Bitwarden that is $10/year and IS open source
- its functionality hasn't evolved significantly over the past decade
- not the greatest ability to auto generate user ID's and passwords on the fly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To securely store all my passwords
To generate the strongest passwords possible
To highlight weaknesses in my passwords
To be accessible across platforms
Generally to make using the best passwords possible as easy as it can be.

Well developed platform
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is excellent. The integration with multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices is convenient. The security of the vault is also something that is appreciated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have ever had with LastPass was knowing that they had a data breach that exposed client information. Thankfully password vaults were not compromised in the breach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for convenient and accessible retention of complex and unique passwords for the vast number of websites and applications that I log into each and every day.
LastPass is past its usefulness
What do you like best about the product?
It was a solid multiplatform to use for password management. It had all the features you wanted for storing passwords and other important information. The browser extensions and mobile apps were
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has had a number of breaches over the past few years which will happen with these kinds of platforms. However, instead of being transparent about the issues they have repeatedly tried to cover these instances. It has repeatedly happened and shown how poorly they are about you as a customer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a good personal and shared password manager letting users store their important passwords and share passwords when needed in the business environment. Also was easy to setup users with SSO in.
Definitively not the Last Pass-word manager we'll be using
What do you like best about the product?
It fills fields correctly in more websites than other password managers, Pricing is affordable and you can organize your passwords in multiple levels of folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything you do or close to opens the extensions in another annoying tab. Their security is questionable since the origin of their breach was definitively avoidable. It's a good password manager but far from a great one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing passwords and secrets with teammates and documenting the uses of those.
Eases my brain by a lot when working
What do you like best about the product?
It is safe and convenient to use. I don't have to worry about remembering all of my complex passwords or need to keep my accounts open in order to access my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it only adds the user information or the password and I'm not sure I understand when it does that and why - so it happens that I need to refill the information, but it only takes a few minutes to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For work, I need many different accounts and I need them to be safe and private. Therefore I need a place where I can safely store all of my complex passwords without being afraid they will be lost or stolen. LastPass does this job for me.
Lastpass - last time I'm using it.
What do you like best about the product?
LastPass is the initial standard of password managers, but they have fallen from grace... and badly. They are still decent to do the job, but staying with them is hard. Aside, it's easy to share passwords in folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are prone to so many hacks, security incidents and much more. The UI is okay but honestly, not my favorite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass solves the problems of having a centralized source of truth for password management. It holds passwords, and usernames, and does the job there.
