What do you like best about the product?
I love the automatic entry of passwords into browsers. Couldn't live without this.

Can't think of anything too bad. Be nicer if my phone stayed logged in for more but I haven't checked out why that is and I can understand why not security wise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me share passwords with colleagues and puts them into my browser for me automatically.

Great product - always consistently delivered

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using LastPass for a while now, and it’s become one of the tools I rely on daily. It makes managing passwords effortless — no more struggling to remember dozens of logins or reusing the same weak password everywhere. I especially like how seamless it is across devices: whether I’m on my phone or computer, everything syncs smoothly. The auto-fill feature is fast and accurate, and the built-in password generator means I can always use strong, unique passwords without hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface can feel a little clunky at times, and it’s not always intuitive for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass does exactly what it promises: it keeps my online life secure and organized. Despite the small drawbacks, it’s still a 10/10 for me because of the peace of mind it provides.

What do you dislike about the product?

While a fine password manager, LastPass's security troubles made us jump ship.

What do you like best about the product?
Lastpass is competent password manager, working fine with all the major sites and identity providers (including passkeys now). Autofilling is seamless, managing (shared) vaults is easy and it does all the things you expect it to be able to do.

LastPass is also a very well known name in the password management space, meaning I saw more employees who were already familiar with it because they were personally using it or used it at a previous job. This made onboarding users slightly easier than with other password managers
What do you dislike about the product?
What I disliked most about LastPass was how the constant security issues, especially those almost two years ago, just chipped away at my trust. The initial breach in their dev environment was bad enough, but when it eventually came out that the hackers used info from that first attack to get a backup of customer data, including some stuff that was supposed to encrypted, but wasn't, like website addresses, that was a major issue. On top of that, the lack of clear communication made me feel like they weren't being trusthful, which is the last thing you want from a service holding all your passwords.

The whole situation showed a big flaw in their security and how they handled things when something went wrong. Even though their zero-knowledge encryption meant my master password wasn't stolen, seeing that a backup of my vault data could potentially expose sensitive info is a no-go. It just proved that the behind-the-scenes security wasn't as solid as I thought, and that's when I knew I needed to find a more trustworthy, open-source option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A password manager like LastPass solves the huge problem of password fatigue and poor password hygiene. Before I used it, many people in the company were either reusing the same few passwords everywhere or writing them down on somewhere, which is obviously a terrible idea. The biggest issue to combat that was the lack of insight; I had no clue who used good password hygeine, and who wasn't. Lastpass made it easy to manage and get reporting on how people were using it.

Having to store my passwords in a less secure way

Set it and forget it

  • July 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LastPass is one of those "set it and forget it" systems I love. It works perfectly to keep your passwords secure and you never have to remember your passwords again, since it does everything for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some overlap with other applications like Apple Passwords and the browser password management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since I started using LastPass I incresed my security and I have never had to recover my password in systems and apps because I LastPass remembers all passwords for me.
