Best project management software You will ever use
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Airtable is its unique feature that combines project management software and database functionality. It might be harder to implement at first, but once you learn the basics, it becomes extremely efficient and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if you could connect tables from separate databases. This is the only feature that's missing. Apart from that, everything works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable in our everyday work, managing projects, tasks, teams.
very friendly for database

A game-changer for social media team management!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has taken the place of long email chains and tedious decks for our content management processes. We can house everything we need for ongoing content in one place, offer various overviews for different stakeholders, and communicate edits/approvals all in the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a really heavy learning curve with this program if you want to use it for anything more basic than tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can keep track of where items are in approval processes and make sure all feedback is being considered by centralizing it versus having to search through emails.
Easy to use with great set of integrations

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted a very quick and easy way to develop a dashboard and we ended up using Airtable. It had everything we need to and was much easier to navigate than a regular spreadsheet software.
I love it
What do you like best about the product?
It is the perfect balance of a databse and a no code app/automation engine. I think this makes programming accessible to people and they can make more of the information they use to do their work. In theory Airtable can serve as the backend for more complex applications. I use it everyday
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't duplicate interfaces across bases, if I don't duplicate the whole base, I would have to recreate it from scratch. I think the product can be more ambitious as it can be the programming interface on the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is im primary wotk tool. I use it to manage the information I need for work and run automations and create apps from it
Easy to use, effective data management with client interfaces
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Airtable since it's early stages and have been able to integrate the many wonderful changes in our every day use. We love the different views including view only links that we can share with clients without needing a login. All of the field options are great, ability to upload and view photos & attachments. I also like that they seem to listen to their customers as many of the recent upgrades we have seen have been requests in the community forums. For example the ability to restrict specific column access to users, that was a game changer for our organization. Thank you Airtable for a great product!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint we have is the inability to have specific users at higher Airtable plans. Just about everyone in our company has a paid airtable account, but it would be great if managment users only could upgrade to business. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that and more than doubling our Airtable expenses for everyone just to have a few managers have access to the Business level features does not make sense so we're stuck with everyone at team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have several separat processes that now are all within airtable. This has reduced time it takes to do things like assign a task to our design department, reducing errors due to redundancy and repeating information. Also the seamless sharing and views makes it great for sharing real time data with clients, such as current budget on a large project that auto updates in their shared link.
The blend of ease-of-use and power
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is how it enables me to use the power of excel without facing the complexity of excel. Also the vast ways I integrate it to Notion, Softr, Make.com, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing, till now.
I believe it's very good. However, the latest limitation they've placed on free plans are a bit disturbing, I hope they undo it

Great Balance Between Form and Function
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable’s best feature is the way it strikes that hard balance between form and function. I love how it takes a platform I'm already quite familiar and comfortable using for advanced requests Sheets/Excel and combines it with database functions and automations that are not only powerful, but easy on the eyes. Airtable bases and interfaces are gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of color coding and Airtable's UI is quite pleasing to work with for extended periods of time. I love how easily you can link records between tables to create incredibly detailed and layered databases and eventually, more robust and comprehensive data analysis and reporting. The interfaces and formsa are also game-changers and a huge upgrade to my previous go-to -- Google Forms. The custom dashboards are great for presenting information to folks that aren't dealing with the day-to-day data entry/clean-up and/or aren't as data-oriented and jsut want to see the big picture. Plus, the automations are a game-changer, especially for repetitive tasks like sending updates or reminders. I use Airtable exclusively and it has completely elevated my working style and my career aspirations. Airtable is so intuitive that it's made data-driven
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things I dislike is the limited permissions system. It's incredibly rigid and there isn't really a cost-effective way to share databases with non-paid users who need to make quick edits 1-2x per year. Airtable would benefit from more features/access for non-paid users invited to a specific interface or base, especially for those managing sensitive or varied data. Another weakness is the lack of built-in customizable PDF exports. Right now, to generate a PDF in Airtable, you need third party apps that can be quite costly and aren't all that user friendly. (The over reliance on these apps is also frustrating because it defeats the purpose of having a "one-stop-shop" for data/project management needs.)This makes it quite difficult to generate professional-looking reports from the tables or interfaces. While Airtable has some basic charting options, it’s not built for deep data analysis. Additionally, as your base grows, performance can start to lag, especially if you’re managing a high volume of records with lots of complex formulas or linked tables. Lastly, some advanced functions, like certain types of automations or conditional logic within forms, still feel limited compared to a full-scale database system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A major issue that Airtable solves for me is how it smoothly merges the familiarity of spreadsheets with the functionality of a database, making it easy to create dynamic, layered systems that support complex project and data management. The platform’s intuitive, visually appealing interface and color-coded options keep it engaging to work with for extended periods, which is important in my line of work. Airtable has simplified data linking across tables, transforming what would have been multiple scattered documents, spreadsheet tabs, etc. into a single, cohesive system that I can also share. The custom interfaces and dashboards are perfect for presenting data to stakeholders who just want the highlights, while automations take care of routine tasks like reminders, freeing up my time for more strategic work. Overall, Airtable has not only streamlined my workflows but has also aligned with my career goals by inspiring and fostering my interest in data analysis in higher education administration.
Airtable is sheets with AI powerups!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to configure. LOVE that it links up to slack!. Easy form building. Super easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the forumlas are a bit difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create internal forms and databases to manage our policies and supplier processes etc.
What Excel wishes it was
What do you like best about the product?
I frequently get sent spreadsheets at work that contain a lot of data. Some of my colleagues make great sheets that utilize excel/ google to the upper bounds of its limits. After using airtable, even these sheets feel flat. The ability to visualize, manipulate, and share data is truly unmatched with airtable. I've loved getting to know and use the product over the past few years and am constantly impressed by new updates and use cases. The community behind the product is amazing and helpful, and the company does so much to support user-driven learning. Any time a new project comes up, my team knows to expect my first approach to organize everything will be to do it in airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest thing that I found with airtable was figuring out how to utilize it as inital user. I didn't really understand what I was doing so it was hard to understand all of the features. Before they offered the webinars and other learning tools they do now, it took working with some power users from my organization to really see the potential. Every once in a while I get myself into a tricky spot and I can't seem to figure out how to do what I want, the growth in the community support has been helpful over the years in figuring out what is possible and how best to do what I'm looking to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to make data useful year over year! As with a lot of organizations, mine tends to be awash with endless historical documents with data that is useful, but that lives in a bunch of different places and formats. It's not easy to use, it's not easy to find, so it doesn't really help. Airtable has been great for actually creating living documents that can be added to year over year and allow us to see clear paths from where we started to where we want to go.
