Excellent For More Specific Use Cases Compared To Running Multiple Spreadsheets
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable was extremely useful for our team to streamline paid media planning and analysis. It was almost impossible finding an out-of-the-box solution for media planning and analysis, especially when needed to handle budgeting and ad spend. I was able to find a template in Airtable that gave us a foundation for us to bend the base to our needs and allow us to create a comprehensive database of paid campaigns for our clients. This has enabled our team to more easily access campaign information and results/analysis on each.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extension trial and error is always a pain, and I don't particularly like how they're displayed in bases for functionality purposes. I also believe the automation feature could be improved for a better user experience. I feel like it can be troublesome trying to troubleshoot automation functions, so having a more reliable support solution here could help. Right now I just rely on the community forums to help troubleshoot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining all of our paid media campaign plans/budgets/reports/analysis into one comprehensive database.
Airtable Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and organization for large sets of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Figuring out the automation in the beginnings was tricky, but all the forums and videos made it easier to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable took us away from multiple people trying to work in one large excel file. Airtable gave us the solution to easily acccess data and make our jobs easier
A magic bullet for data management
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Airtable is how quick and easy it is to ask questions or our data and get useful answers that can drive decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see Airtable roll out a more robust form-making capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to track candidate progression through our teacher education program. It also allows us to collect, manage, and report the data that is needed for program improvement and accreditation.
Great CRM and Project Management Database
What do you like best about the product?
It is so versatile, if I can think of something Airtable can most likely do it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very easy to accidentally edit info or delete info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is where we hold all customer data, it is helping us to standardize our data and allowing us to automate many processes.
Great and Almost There
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is mostly easy to use if you have someone helping to support you and educate you. It's simplistic design makes for a mostly user friendly experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is lacking in functionality in the ability to print PDF documents easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
serving as an ERP system for our business
Fantastic for what we use it for
What do you like best about the product?
It's a powerful database that can be used to organize and share a lot of information. Integration is about medium for us so far, people complain that's it's hard to learn and understand, customer support and learning was difficult when we started; seems to have improved since then. I use the software daily and integrate it with other types of software. Not aware of all the features because the learning curve and time to learn about it is limited. I will be taking an intermediate/advanced course now that I've learned it, however.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be difficult if you are not used to using similar software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's organizing data; helps the whole company keep projects on track and share information.
Airtable makes it easy to stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Airtable is dynamic and allows you to easily sort data with one to two clicks makes it preferrable to Excel. It is very easy to organize projects, create timeline and assign tasks in AirTable. I use it everyday!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could make a single select field the priority field type.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable makes it easy to develop and design workflows, helping with organization and project management.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Pull-type APIs are great but to push any mass data or integrate it with another software or its exports, we have to use third-party software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company is mechanical company. No one knows how to code except me.
And this software has helped them bring so much ease for the ongoing 1400 projects and more than 10,000 they are investigating.
All the below at just one platform is commendable:

Airtable gave us the exact solution we needed that we could have easily paid $1000s per month for.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable gives us the flexibility to make the software work for our needs, not just accept features that someone else has deemed important. The possibilities for customization is nearly infinite, and there are so many starter templates and examples of both how other users are implementing things already and a ton of help in the forums.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is definitely a learning curve to making Airtable work the way you want it to, and printing things out on paper seems to be an afterthought, which I understand for most people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a system to track literally hundreds of our customers' assets that they rely on us to keep up-to-date and maintain a record of what we've done for them. Airtable allowed us to create a backend where many different tables (customers, assets, customer requests, products we need to order, etc.) can all 'talk' to each other and display their information in ways that we can get things completed and keep customers confident that we're taking care of their equipment.
Amazing Tool for Content Planning and Project Management for Publications
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Airtable for about 7 years now. I first learned about it from a fellow editor when I was looking for a tool to help my content creation team to store and track our story ideas throughout the publication process and to store all that info in one place and be able to share it with our team. Previously, we were using a Google Sheet and there just wasn't enough functionality to do what we wanted to do.
I absolutely love Airtable and all of the improvements they've made throughout the years. It not only allows you to store your information but thanks to all of the filtering, sorting, and grouping options, you can actually make your data work for you and get at-a-glance updates throughout the publication process super quickly. It always made it so easy to track exactly where we were at -- for assigning stories, status updates where each story was in the process, what had been reviewed and what hadn't. I could go on and on.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't love is about Airtable is that it's evolved so much that it's a bit overwhelming now. There really is so much you can do with apps and integrations, and it's a bit hard for a novice to wrap their head around, even though they do offer plenty of webinars.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now that I've transitioned to full-time freelance, I use Airtable to keep track of my clients and prospects, my assignments and related tasks, and my business goals. It helps me stay on top of everything and I love that I can pull so many pieces of related data together all under one assignment -- the client, the Google doc, the tasks (interviewing, researching, writing, sending for review), and ultimately the published piece. I constantly recommend it to others!
