Airtable: The Game-Changer for My Consulting Business
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable serves as my one source of truth for managing leads, prospects, and clients, making it indispensable for my business operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Airtable is incredibly powerful, it can have a learning curve for those unfamiliar with data management tools, requiring some initial setup and customization to fully leverage its capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable enables me to predict cash flow, analyze marketing and sales data, and track expenses efficiently. It aligns perfectly with how my brain works, transforming data tracking from a daunting task into an empowering experience.

it's ability to see alot of data in many ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
it doesn't replace notion. It's not as good for notes as I would like it to be - but it's very good at what it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have a warehouse that needed an inventory, tracking pto, and incoming resumes
Endless Possibilities, Practical Results
What do you like best about the product?
I use Airtable primarily as a CRM across multiple organizations, and the ability to have accessibility to develop functionality that supports the complex needs of how that data is shared between bases, amongst team members and even now with the public has been unbelievably powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is always innovating, so my only complaint is that I don't have enough time to take advantages of new features being developed as they are being released!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a cloud-based platform that is also supported on mobile devices and tablets allows for great application and function throughout our grassroots organization. It allows us to develop systems with specific needs and user accessibilities that allow us to empower volunteers to have greater impact without concern for data privacy or unintended data manipulations. We lean heavily on Airtable to pull off events that allow us to coordinate several moving parts, including thousands of people with just a few clicks of a button. And the automations... GAME CHANGER!
Airtable for the win
What do you like best about the product?
I am using Airtable everyday! I track all my teams projects and it helps us ensure that everything launches on time. We also use it at the EOY to make recap decks on all the projects we have launched. One time, I accendtly deleted the whole table, but I love that Airtable takes snapshots, so I easily got it back. Saved my life!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Airtable had the ability to do parent/child rows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping my team keep track of all projects and we can easily share the table with our working partners.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Airtable in multiple roles now from small businesses to enterprise level, it truly can do it all. Being in HR, I've had the opportunity to build out comprehensive automation systems for Leave Management, Onboarding, Offboarding, and more. I can confidently say I've used Airtable everyday for the past 4 years and truly wouldn't have it any other way, it has enhanced more processes to account for and organized millions of data fields to this day. The UI and UX for others who are not as familiar with Airtable is a dream. Airtable is able to adjust to your needs using a handful of different subscription options making it easy to suit the needs of your company and providing a seamless implementation, amazing customer support, and reliable data/process flows for companies big and small.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable can be complex when looking at it as a beginner. But with that complexity and questions, Airtable community is a great help at getting started with the wonders of Airtable and all of its' capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping keep many data points in one centralized locations and allowing me to sync databases to create branches of projects, data, and processes from one single source. It has helped automate very manual processes in onboarding, offboarding, leave management, company-wide initiatives, and more.
A Game-Changer for Team Collaboration and Organization
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable strikes the perfect balance between the flexibility of a spreadsheet and the power of a database. I love how intuitive it is to create custom workflows tailored to my team’s needs. The wide variety of templates and integrations with tools like Slack, Zapier, and Google Drive make it a versatile solution for managing projects across different industries. Plus, the interface is clean and visually engaging, which makes working on Airtable a pleasure rather than a chore.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app could use some enhancements to better replicate the desktop experience. Some advanced features, like scripting, have a steeper learning curve, especially for non-technical users. Additionally, while the free plan is great for starting out, teams with larger-scale projects might need to upgrade for features like higher record limits and advanced customization options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has streamlined our project management and cross-functional collaboration. We use it to manage editorial calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate with external vendors. It has replaced several tools we previously used and reduced the friction in team communication. The ability to link records across tables and create custom views has been a lifesaver for keeping everyone on the same page, especially during tight deadlines.
Excellent for data tracking, project management, and collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable is intuitive and simple to use - the equations and ability to create/generate reports is simple and elagent. The ability to gather and customize data allows me to create impactful reports for my team and board.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a little more time and effort to get things just right, but once you put this work in, everything runs more smoothly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to better manage large projects and provide team members with clear and guided road map of tasks to accomplish our goals. I am also able to track ongoing projects and generate attractive reports through the interface feature.
Finally, a database with great UX and UI
What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, as an artist who works with a lot of data in my day job, I highly appreciate Airtable's visual appeal. I can create Views to separate information or separate categories by color, gone are the days of sprawling spreadsheets with minimal filtering options. Whew!
The ability to view multiple forms of data (images, emails, dates, links) in multiple formats (grid, calendar, gallery, or Kanban) is fast and effortless. Can't recommend it enough.

What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable Interfaces: While the interfaces are excellent for viewing data, it would be even more powerful if they allowed users to enter data directly. This would make Airtable an even better tool for collaboration without every user needing to be an Airtable expert on where to find and enter information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become the source of truth for information. We use many tools at our company. Some of the tools are integrated with Airtable. Even when a tool isn't seemlessly integrated into Airtable, I can still embed Airtable within those spaces and/or put links and docs directly into my base, so it's still a one stop shop.
Allowed me to create everything I've always asked for and has become the foundation of our company.
What do you like best about the product?
Large and helpful community, tons of resources available to learn. Near infinite use case for almost every facet of our business. Constant new features and updates, hardly ever run into any service issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost too many features, high cost to involve more members of our team, interfaces have a lot of limitations (at this time).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has always lived out of spreadsheets and redundant, inefficient, and repetitive work. Airtable allows us to streamline and optimize our entire process while effectively leveraging all of our archived data to make the entire team more effective.

THE AUTOMATION TOOLS ARE AWESOME. I loved integrating our ideas inside airtable using automation. Implementing it was easy as well after several days finding the right tutorials for what we needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really an extensive comprehensive tutorial that breaks demonstrates the capabiilities on the grandest scale and that's what I love to see in a platform. Show me everything and then I can dial back from that if necessary but I want to know the limits.
I wish it had some formulaic capabilities like excel that could add/subtract/divide/multiply etc.

We are using it at Paramount Pictures to track claims, status, next steps, hold all of the information of each claim.
