Enjoying the collaboration and commenting
What do you like best about the product?
Ability for multiple users to collaborate on records and keep a sparate chat on each record.
Lately, we've been impressed with the ChatGPT integration. Linking the prompt to client fields has been a huge game changer for us in creating social captions.
Love the formula fields and how quick they are.

What do you dislike about the product?
Don't like that you can't change the data entry on the record detail. Many mistakes are made because this screen isn't intuitive or friendly to NOT taking your hands off the keyboard. (we LOVE the tab key!!)
At least would like to tighten it up a bit, shorten fields, combine fields on one row (ie: first / last name). It would make it easier to read and navigate when there are alot of fields to work with in a record.
Implementation was a CHORE. Not intuitive at all. Took months to get things working just right.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketing agency, we have social media posts with tons of data about each post all over. Airtable not only allows us to consolidate all that data, as it comes in over time, but also collaborate on each piece.
Having multiple fields that are links are critical too, so we can link out to a reasearch document, and the related CANVA graphic. And then upload the final CANVA image right into the record.
The seperate chat piece allows the team to leave each other feedback as the social post progresses. Removes the need for emails and a seperate SLACK thread!
Very convenient! Less mistakes, quicker creation, better quality due to the improved collaboration.

Ease of Use
What do you like best about the product?
The more I use it the easier it becomes. It is now helpful to be able to create forms and tables and have our different areas organized. The Customer service gets back to us within a couple days.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning it is complicated for me to navigate around and use it and to figure out how to create the forms from grid view, etc. It would be nice to be able to talk to customer serivce a little more quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to have all of our forms in on place.
A delight for even the trickiest of workarounds
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a very versatile and user-friendly platform that offers a wide range of features that can be applied in creative ways. I have found it extremely useful for data tracking and database management and find myself using it on a fairly regular basis. If I ever stumble upon a problem that could benefit from having a technical solution, Airtable is usually my go-to solution.
I find the view sharing feature greatly helpful for distributing data and resources internally, especially among others who don't need to access the platform itself but would benefit from the information contained in the bases and workspaces I create. It is easy to implement, especially given the ability to add on integrations and pulgins.

What do you dislike about the product?
In order to track and manipulate data in the right way, I have found there is a need for some coding experience. There are also instances where I've been unable to complete a task or execute a desired outcome, leaving me wondering if the issue is user error or a limitation of the platform. I also wish I better understood, or had more helpful guidance, around dependent records and multi-layered sorting and grouping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are two major priojects where Airtable has been a lifesaver. The first is a large organizational directory. Each record has become a page in the directory with organizational information (addresses, phone numbers, mission statement, leadership, etc.). Through a plugin, I was able to create a self-serve portal where organizations can independently manage their listing. This has significantly reduced the need for myself or another database administrator to manually update these entries, and instead focus on cleaning up records for consistency before publishing.
The second is a work in progress project where we are tracking education program metrics and statistics. I have found it incredibly useful for calculating attendance numbers, parsing out numbers by certain parameters (e.g. city council districts, etc.) and producing quick and easy to access reports when we need to access accurate and timely information at any given time.

Airtable has really streamlined my workflow
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can have almost all of my work in one place, it saves as I go and updates. The automations have really reduced my workload and I am continually finding ways to integrate my work into Airtable to make my workflow more efficient and my processes more seamless
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that the headers of the tables would wrap. I also wish that in the record review interface design, we had more capability to change the font design (i.e. size, color, etc) so we can call attention to certain fields if we want. Highlighting or coloring certain fields would be an excellent option to have as well.

I like that I can customize, organize, and view my data easily and efficiently

I could go for more complexity in my formulas.

Airtable is helping me track and manage our communication strategy. It also allows me to provide a "slide-like" presentation of each communication point for my sales colleagues who want to flip through the data in a presentable format.
Unbeatable and Uncomparable
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has all the best features!! It's incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. It's aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. The extensions and seamless integrations between other platforms and apps makes my daily life so much better. I quite literally could not do my job without Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly...there aren't many downsides. One thing I wish it had capability for was integration with Cadence's Mongoose texting platform. This would allow our communication to be further integrated into Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to house client data and sync it thorugh the rest of the bases to create a seamless client record in our systems. We are able to implement a communications pla, progress system, and plan/strategize/innovate because of the data we can easily collect and act upon in Airtable.
It's clunky

I like the different tagging and filtering options in tables

it's clunky, and for a beginning it can be overwhelming to understand all the intergrations and workflows to optimize. I still don't have a handle on it. I've switched to Microsoft Teams Planners for organizing my projects now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None at the moment.
Flexible Plan and Nimble Build
What do you like best about the product?
So enjoying the level of detail, we can build into this program. Our company production methods have a lot of steps and Airtable keeps is all organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more copy/paste features work consistently. Sometimes, we get mixed results there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are running the whole back end of the business on it less emails. Airtable took us from 3-4 disconnected systems to one!
Keeps projects organized + great customer support
What do you like best about the product?
I love Airtable! It's user friendly, and the support team is great. I've already set up a few "meet with an expert" sessions, and they've walked me through how to set up various views and how to configure my data in the best way. It's a game changer in tracking all of our projects, and I especially love the "automations" feature. I built an automation that will send any of our project requestors an email when the project is complete, and they all love that feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Airtable does have a bit of a learning curve. It can feel intimidating at first, and I wish there were a few more template options to guide you into it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delviering projects on time and organizing tasks between team members. We've curated various views so each team member can look at a caledar with dates created by the project managers for what's on their plate for that day. Also, when people request a project, they would often complain it goes into a "black hole" and don't know when it'll be done. However, the automations feature has allowed us to send updates in real time about where the project is at.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool that helps us coordinate data across multiple offices and teams. It's easily accessible from anywhere, and it's easy to manage. Customer support is responsive and helpful, and the FAQs are a great source of information. It's easy to onboard new hires to the program and upskill existing users.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've spent a lot of time training staff on how to use the program. However, once they are familiar with the program, it's been easy to upskill them on new features and ways to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We often have to create reports that rely on data from many teams that do not work in one centralized office. I am able to easily pull up-to-date numbers and information to put into reports. We also use this as a way to track projects and tasks, along with interactions with community members. It is customizable and easy to update records. It also allows our teams to access their data at all times.
