User Friendly and Flexible
What do you like best about the product?
AirTable finds the perfect balance of having a huge number of useful features while also feeling intuitive and beginner-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to create reports that are flexible and visually appealing to share with stakeholders and the public.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use AirTable as a CRM, accept form submissions through our website, and track both small- and large-scale projects, all in one seamless location.
Project Management & Forms/Responses
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the customizability of the platform for the needs for uses in higher education. For example, the needs of our organization include creating forms, scoring applications, facilitating cases, and other record-keeping objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a large learning curve to the platform that may inhibit some users to actively use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is assisting in navigating and facilitating large numbers of inquiries and funding requests from a variety of participants.
Excellent tool for automating and streamlining HR workflows and data.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has a ton of useful features... being able to create specific views of data for different purposes is extremely helpful, and the forms and automations have made my workflow more efficient. It's very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've encountered a few situations where Airtable has some limitations (e.g., no automation/integration to upload form attachments to G-Drive).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're currently using Airtable to store a variety of HR data - it's serving as our HRIS - and as our HR team's collaborative project management tool.
Airtable is great if you have the time to configure it and set it up
What do you like best about the product?
It is flexible and robust for storing and accessing data. The interfaces are great. Support is quick and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionality that you would assume is there is not. Some things that excel or google sheets does natively, you have to create work arounds. Support is fast, but they can't resolve missing features, only add feature requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for many many areas in our ecosystem. From product workflows, to task management, to calendar scheduling. We are fully engranded in Airtable for our business workflows.
Airtable brings relational databases to non-technical users
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable makes linked records and relational databases accessible to users who don't have a data/technical background. I have implemented Airtable systems at several arts organizations I have worked at, and amount of extra tedious work Airtable eliminates always astonishes my colleagues, most of whom simply didn't know what was possible with a tool like Airtable. I also like the versatility of automations and formula fields to further eliminate busywork!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there were more formatting options within fields and tables. For instance, it would be great to shade an entire column a specific color, or be able to add color to rich text-enabled long text fields. Also, this particular bugaboo is top of mind because it's the end of the year, but I wish that when typing in "January" in a date field, it would default to the closer January, i.e. January 2025, not January 2024. We have mistakenly had some records disappear into the past because one of our users didn't notice that the date had defaulted to January 2024.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is solving a rampant problem in my industry (arts organizations administration)-- multiple, competing sources of truth that all need to be updated separately. Linked records and lookup fields have been a gamechanger for my colleagues.
Versatile, Collaborative and A Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is awesome because it combines the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a db as I will say many time, making it easy to use and easy to access. I like becuase:
Customizability: You can create tailored workflows, organize projects, or track data with easily
Collaboration Features: It's great for teams to collaborate in real time with messaging and @'ing people
Ease of Use: The drag-and-drop interface and clean design make it approachable, even for non-technical users (some of my team)
Integrations: It connects with tools like Paperform and Excel
Views: You can switch between grid, Kanban, calendar, gallery, and timeline views depending on your project needs - love this!
Automations: You can set up actions like sending emails, or updating fields automatically. There are others, I just don't use.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves several problems for my team by combining the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the power of a db. It helps me organize my project, adjust data as needed, and collaborate in real-time with my team. I also use the forms features that makes onboarding new users great! By offering custom views for multiple team members, many different column items, and automation features, it saves me so much time on repetitive tasks and allows for better focus on high-priority tasks. Overall, it simplifies data organization, improves team collab, and adapts as my projects grow, making it a great tool for managing my team and project.
Streamlines Processes for PMs
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is such a value for working on our social media team as it organizes content for us in a timely manner, keeping the team on top of timing and making sure each post has what it needs for launch. It is easy to use and beginner friendly, and I love that it updates live for everyone else so no refreshing is necessary. We use Airtable daily and have now started implementing it in other areas of marketing that may need process support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Airtable is not having a good way to show timelines. There is a gantt chart and timeline feature but it is elementary at best, proving difficult to be a one stop shop for all things related to event management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing content on a timeline, benefits me due to freeing up my time focused on creating rather than simple administrative tasks
Such a useful product - but with many hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
Great and accessible way for tech-savvy-non-developers to be able to create DB-powered solutions that integrate easily at their organizations. A daily use tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure is user-based, not data-based, which makes it hard to implement at a company. Customer support is lacking. Not easy to set up a process when we not everyone can edit data due to the massive cost of making someone an editor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us bridge gaps between other pieces of software.
Airtable is the most powerful tool I've ever seen
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable makes databases intuitive to create and maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to run it on-prem, as a secure desktop app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable centralizes and democratizes team data. Always-on, always updatable. Incredibly flexible. It can run surveys, intake forms, reporting, and more.
The most flexible yet robust tool available on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable, and the community of users, has enabled me to build powerful tools that meet my personal and small business use cases. It's been tremenddously valuable to tap the community for ready-to-use bases or for starting point bases that allow me to customize and build tools for my needs.
I have built tools that power my personal and business expense ledgers, CRM's and even planned a group trip using a customized base. I am very proud of how I've used it to capture and store key digital items such as articles, images and links that come my way - easily referenced using a slick gallery view with cover images for each record.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be tough to "know where to start" with Airtable. But if that's where you are with the platform - have a look at the Gallery pages and use what others have shared to get inspiration on how to get started!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me stay in touch with key contacts, on top of my finances and allows me to build a repository of key records / assets that inspire me on a daily basis because they are easy to retrieve/ view.
