Great for Editorial Calendaring
What do you like best about the product?
The different views you can set up for various purposes is so incredibly helpful. And it's great for asset-sharing, so everything is in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to add relevant dates to the calendar without creating entries for them, but that's not such a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Airtable to plan and schedule our editorial content, including social media. Having everything in one place is making our team more efficient.
Amazing team collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Organization of the data, the software is easy to use, has more visual features than excel, we can share the spreadsheets with the public without giving them the rights to edit (just like Google sheets but Airtable has more cool features making the data look better)
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of yet! ....................................................
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data storing and organization, team collaboration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up and try the free verson - you will not want to go back to your old system!
Simple yet Robust for most in-house solutions...
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of entry to start using the platform. Great set of tools to start building out everyday solutions at your work. After a while almost anything can be imagined on the platform. Working for a non-profit that can't afford larger platform databases this has been fun to work with.
Collaboration has worked smoothly compared to other platforms we have used. We were able to bring in interns at our Agency this summer and get them into several of our bases with ease, and were able to check on their work real time.
Nice workspace that allows a team to sandbox their ideas and get instant feedback and help from others.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some missing data structures that would really make this thing shine for the price and features. My first thought is digital signatures for forms. I did send message to help desk so will see their reply on the matter. My Agency just ok'd a subscription from the free so maybe I may find better tools in the blocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have and are still working on asset inventory, print toner inventory tracking, IT dept. purchases, and have been currently working on converting several Agency forms into Airtable forms to better keep track with underlying database capture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look into your workflows and single out excel files that are keeping track of information. Now throw those at Airtable just to get your feet wet and see how much better it manages that data. Ease of web access, filters, sorts, etc.
Start small and then let your imagination go from there. I have dabbled in Airtable for several years and now and the feature set keeps improving.

Everything in one spot
What do you like best about the product?
I can do all my work with just one piece of software
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to integrate my Wix contacts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A live database
Recommendations to others considering the product:
USE IT!
Easy to navigate and smart
What do you like best about the product?
There are loads of training resources and it is easy for the whole team to work out how to use the various features. Keeping it simple really works well here. The end goal will be to have our entire organisation using this as a collaborative tool, looking after our venue hire spaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot to say, so far we have not managed to break it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our venue hire spaces were managed through manual forms, leading to confusion and issues with getting maintenance teams in without asking three different people if the spaces were free. We now have one place that everyone can view and book as required.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are lots of online training resources. They can help immensely when setting up your system. We have also taken a collaborative approach with getting the system up and running, helping to get the team buy-in.
Delighted with the experience
What do you like best about the product?
Very good user interface and power
What do you dislike about the product?
It is excellent. The only thing I would like it to have is the immediate synchronization of contact tables with Google contacts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complex information of the company I manage to centralize and make accessible for everyone, each one what they need.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is worth it in most situations.
The single best tool I've come across
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is friendly and highly functional, easy-to-use but deceptively powerful. I work with young people, and they have no problem understanding the system. But at the same time, Airtable has ingenious calendar tools; a "why didn't 'they' think of that before" auto-integration of sheets, forms, Kanban (Trello) boards, and galleries; and integrations with other apps both in-app and via Zapier. It's everything we need to run our nonprofit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable still has a little ways to go, especially re: user permissions and data validation. Fine tuning base access, and creating folders of bases, is still out of reach. And views need to be lockable, so that myself and other staff don't inadvertently change complex filter setups. And data validation tools on dropdown lists should be a no-brainer, since accidentally manually adding an item to a multiple-choice field is just too easy. But overall—Airtable is excellent, and has gotten demonstrably better every month since we began using it about 6 months ago. I trust it will keep improving!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Airtable to manage all aspects of our nonprofit, from tracking clients, staff, and partners, to building grant and media production calendars, to creating openly accessible tables for volunteer and Board involvement. It's solved almost all our organizational challenges.
Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
Easy & Intuitive to use! Dare I say fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
None...a pleasure to use! Fast and easy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing and creating connections between large volumes of data and having the ability to collaborate with others
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot! It's cross platform, easy to use and allows you to easily collaborate with others.
A great tool for content or other project organizing and planning
What do you like best about the product?
Table construction, design, and layout are big pluses.
It's a very intuitive tool and the templates are very helpful.
The ability to share information with multiple users is another "pro" of the tool.
The ability to integrate with so many other tools like Basecamp and Dropbox is very valuable.

What do you dislike about the product?
The app on the computer should be usable offline.
The price isn't completely unreasonable, but for nonprofits or NGOs, the cost could improve a little...

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're streamlining our content marketing plans and calendars with this tool. It has so many other benefits in terms of database and other information tracking, but we're really using it to help map out and schedule our marketing plans.
Airtable is great for sharing lists
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very much like Excel Spreadsheet or Google Sheets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still needs a lot more development. The biggest thing I don't like about it is you cannot resize the cell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lists and items to keep track. It's good that the team can share and collaborate on them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are some limitations to Airtable. You cannot resize a cell. And if you want to color code a row, they charge you.
