An amazing app to manage data!
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great platform to manage data. It's a spreadsheet and a database rolled into one. I love the customization and all the functionality gained through scripting and automations. We use it daily for our marketing agency to track client work, manage our bonus structure and payouts, and track billable time on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I run into limitations in functionality in fully customizing fields they way I'd like to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows for an almost fully custom experience in how we set up our task management. The formulas and automations allow us to manipulate data in very useful ways.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve and it took me some time to get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps us manage data but it's really the automations that I appreciate the most. It helps me work efficiently and not be bogged down with small tasks.
A simple database

Some bugs with dates when combined with Make, for example
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simplicity and the ability to do everything without having multiple software to do it. It's all-in-one. A time saver.

I hope you discover Airtable earlier than Excel
What do you like best about the product?
With airtable there is very little you cannot do. You can create multiple tables for multiple purposes, and even create your own mini products.
I try to use Airtable as my CRM and my Jira Development tool. It's very easy to implement and use even if you are not a techie person.
I've never had a big doubt with Airtable so I didn't get in touch with Customer support, but I'm sure they will solve correctly.
Every day I learn something about the features and something that I can do with Airtable.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd say that it's quite difficult to get updated about new capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- I don't need jira to project manage my development work
- I don't need multiple crm tools to start gathering and storing all my sales data
- and I use airtable as a backend for small no-code / low-code platforms

Intuitive and Impactful
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is extremely easy to learn and use. We've been able to organize our data and create automations to streamline approval processes internally. Airtable has become our source of truth, with our team using various interfaces every day for multiple different use cases. The data tables we've created extend into multiple different systems across the organization - lots of stakeholders are dependent on the real-time insight it provides.
The support team provided quick solutions/responses to any issues that arose.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of customizability in interface designer; expensive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped us create a centralized respository to manage projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and approvals. It's enabled us to save time with manual/menial tasks to create more opportunity for professional development.
Helped us get a handle on our complicated team-based scheduling and management.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about airtable is it's customiizable nature. We worked with a tech specialist to configure Airtable to meet our unique needs and it has so far been adaptable to everything we needed it to do. It has a huge capacity in terms of features and we were able to get it up and running in a fairly short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no real downsides except the intial learning curve. I believe we could have built Airtable out as we needed but it would have been a bigger intial time investment. Working with a tech specialist who knew Airtable well really helped us get up and running fast. It was worth the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a staff of three that do 150 week long classes for over 1500 youth each year. We need to schedule those sessions with a variety of community partners across a region in southeast Virginia. In addition, we need to record data about all 1500 youth we serve at the end of each class. Airtable has streamlined the data entry for our staff and created one central repository of data and scheduling information.

Airtable is a great upgrade from google sheets and excel!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has a ton of great features and options. It's truly user friendly at it's base level and super easy to use. If you DON'T understand something, there are a TON of resources available to you on their website to utilize for formulas and way to make it better. I love that it takes multiple google sheets and puts it one space. It also allows for the automation in house that other programs may not. This is a program I not only use every single day at work, but I also use it every single day in my personal life.
They also offer discounts for nonprofits which is great.

What do you dislike about the product?
The basic plan is just that, basic. If you upgrade to a team plan and want to add your team to the plan, you pay for each team member to your plan (which doesn't make sense) since you can add team members to your plan on the basic plan for free. Make it make sense? Overall, I'm super happy with the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It automates my whole workflow and I have built a whole system workflow for my team.
