Great, Multifunctional but with a Learning Curve

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a great platform for a wide variety of business needs including project management, working with large datasets, and collaborating. I used Airtable to build a couple "mini apps" to coordinate my team's work. My team uses it every day for new project intake, project management, and organizing content and data.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve to Airtable - while it can do a lot, it took me a few days to build my mini apps. That said, once you get the hang of it you can create more or less any sort of project management tool you could imagine. Airtable also has plenty of resources and Airtable support is very responsive if you run into any roadblocks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team needed a better solution to manage web content creation and update requests for our 7000+ employee organization. Through Airtable we can take in and review requests from across the company, delegate and track tasks, and maintain a database of content and analytics.

Endless Possibilities

  • April 18, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable can present my data in multiple ways, allowing me to customize for each audience's preference without having to completely remake or duplicate tables for each different view. I use it every day in multiple different ways - depending on the needs of the project and team - asset tracking, contract management, tasks and timelines, status updates, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities are almost too numerous! The learning curve is large, which can make it difficult to get new team members up to speed quickly. Would love a simulation-type learning tutorial -- teach and let me do, teach and let me do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it in multiple ways, but one of the most useful to us is contract/program management - new project requests come in via a form and once they are set up, important metrics are captured and stored. We also rely on it heavily for asset management during course creation.

If a Spreadsheet and a Database had a baby ====AIRTABLE!

What do you like best about the product?
I’m a huge fan of Airtable. I started with the free version, but once I saw what it could do, I upgraded to a paid plan. I’ve built countless databases—for accounting with invoice forms, managing leads, tracking ads, and more. I use it daily for automation, forms, interfaces, and app integrations. The templates make it easy to get started, and now with AI, you can build faster or create custom setups from scratch. Airtable is flexible, powerful, and worth every penny.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say there is nothing I don't like about Airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable lets me keep all my leads, bookkeeping, forms, and databases in one place. Its ability to integrate with other no-code tools to build front-end apps is what makes it a total game changer.

Sheets on Steroids-- AirTable makes organizing and tracking so much more effective

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has the functions of many apps (sheets, Excel, Monday, PowerBI), all into one. Functionality is amazing and makes searches, filtering, etc. a bit easier. As a newer company, the program is improving year over year and adding functionality and needs from its customers. There is SO much that you can do within Airtable, especially if you are tech literate.

Even if you are not, this program is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the company and program is newer, so it doesn't have everything you would ever want. For example, there are some formulas that would be nice to add in, like count or averages, on the main sheet. You can do this, but on a different page. I'd love to see this shift in the near future.

However, what I dislike ends up being one of Airtable's strenghts. They are continuing to evolve and improve whereas Excel is pretty much staying as is and Sheets is not evolving nearly at the same rate. AirTable has their eye on being an all-in resource and they are quickly approaching that mark with improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping me organize complex projects, track data across multiple teams, and streamline collaboration without needing to use multiple tools. Before Airtable, we juggled spreadsheets, docs, emails, and random notes. Now everything lives in one place — organized, visual, and easy to update.

The ability to link records, set up views for different audiences (like calendar, kanban, and gallery), and automate repetitive tasks has saved me a ton of time and reduced human error. It’s also been a game-changer for collecting input via forms and instantly turning that into usable, trackable data.

Airtable has changed the game for my team.

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps all of our data in one place, we use it for everything on my team. Whenever we have issues customer support is super quick at responding and resolving the issue. They have a ton of classes that you can take to master it but it is super easy to use and categorize the data you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, no complaints I can think of off the top of my head.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep all our events in one place and track everything that we are doing. We can easily find an event with airtables unique features and everything about it is stored in there.

Great CRM and Project Management

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We went from maintaining a google sheet for projects to using AT for all our clients and forms we have to maintain. and it has been incredible. We love the functionality and the ability to link information across forms and clients. It is something we rely on completely, and is the roadmap for our whole department. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has multiple projects to manage. Also, being able to change the views (Kanban is life!) for everything we need to accomplish is life changing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit to learn how to use properly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to view project information across different data points; anything from person assigned, form type, and even states.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple applications and interfaces in our infrastructure, and Airtable allows the customization to pull everything together.

Balanced review of Airtable

  • April 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful Integrations & Automations

Built‑in integrations with Slack, Gmail, GitHub, and many others, plus an easy “if this, then that” automation builder. Saves hours of manual work and keeps everyone in sync.

Collaboration & Permissions

Real‑time collaboration with comment threads, record-level permissions, and revision history. You can lock down sensitive tables or allow read‑only access where needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost Can Escalate Quickly

The free tier is generous for small projects, but automations, sync features, and higher record limits require paid plans that can get expensive as your team grows.

Automation Run Limits

On paid plans you get a fixed number of automation runs per month; if you exceed that, you either pay extra or risk workflows stalling unexpectedly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is bridging the gap between simple spreadsheets and heavyweight project software. It’s solving our pain points around scattered task lists, siloed product information, and the overhead of managing multiple tools. By consolidating everything—tasks, feature specs, timelines, assets, and even automations—into one intuitive platform, we’ve achieved:

Faster decision‑making through unified, real‑time data.

Higher team alignment because everyone sees the same “single source of truth.”

Reduced administrative overhead, thanks to drag‑and‑drop customization and automated reminders.
