Does the Job
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is user-friendly and a reliable way to share data with team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing feature should be more intuitive, have had issues sharing spaces with others. Airtable sends too many emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped to isolate quality assurance issues with file transfer and sharing and helped increase productivity.
Easy to learn as a beginner
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable was extremely easy to learn as a beginner in the space. I used this for organization tasks in the clubs I ran throughout undergraduate. It allowed me to integrate many apps seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was trying to integrate multiple word documents, but there were many more steps than I wanted. I had to copy and past everything over which was annoying and time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved organizational problems when receiving a lot of information from many different people. It kept everything organized and was a central place for me to look at all the information.

completely custom buildable to your work needs and open source.
What do you dislike about the product?
you have to pay a monthly subscription for each user might be other software to purchase if your company has more than 15 user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Airtable for our inventory and workflow managment. Since there is no "out of the box software" for my industry Air table has been a good fit till our software is designed and developed.
Airtable is a great solution!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has made managing requests so much easier for our team! We have forms that other teams can use to request services from us among other things. Adding tasks and projects are easy to do and having a variety of views for each base is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it can be difficult to teach someone during onboarding. It's a fantastic tool, but it can be confusing at first because it does so many awesome things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a team, we've been able to implement varying tasks, projects, bases, forms and views for each line of business. We love having everything in one place in Airtable.
Airtable: Excel's Rival
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable was a phenomenal experience both in User Interface and functionality. I found it very easy to sort, view, enter, and understand data.
What do you dislike about the product?
At some points some of the ways to enter data or categorize it seemed counter intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used Airtable to organize data and keep track of files in order to see how certain legal matters have been progressing. We have found it easy to keep track of our legal progress and customer care.
Dynamic Data tracking and cross referencing
What do you like best about the product?
The tool has all the features to slice data in a myriad of ways so everyone in the company can create a view that is useful for them, but you only have to update the information in one location and it flows to update all of the views. Keeps people using the same data, but able to view it in meaningful ways. Also their support has been outstanding and they are very knowledgable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has so many features that you can easily loose what you were doing or how the data is all linked if you are not the one who built or designed it. The tool is great once you get familiar with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again the tool is allowing us to have a single source for most of our analyticaly data and everyone cane build the view that is most relevant to them/their team, so we do not have multiple sources that dont align or are off because things track different in different systems.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the training courses offered and have a plan of how you are going to use the data/info before building 13 tables. You can easily save yourself some work by starting with the plan and then building out.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can organize lots of information fairly easily and customize it with different views based on your needs
What do you dislike about the product?
The way you isolate information in complicated - the process by which it's done is not so user-friendly. Feel like it's built for a developer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to organize members on their stats - if they want to subscribe to newsletters, if they've submitted information, how they've engaged with our app.
Much more flexible and full-featured than I expected
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is, at its core, a spreadsheet app. However, it doesn't take long to realize it's capable of much more than that. I'm using it as a full-featured content calendar and project tracker, and it handles these tasks exceptionally well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, to be honest. If anything, they undersell their strengths and the full capabilities of what their product has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are facilitating cross-team collaboration with a shared content calendar and project tracker.
User Friendly and Excellent.
What do you like best about the product?
When using Airtable I found it very easy to use the chat section to keep in touch with everyone assigned to the same project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we had trouble trying to replace files for review. The files would be deleted instead and completely lost, along with comments and notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a great project tracker, it allows us to easily stay connected while making sure we get everything done in a timely and effective manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say it is definitely worth using and it helps in all aspects for organizing and staying on track.
Great Platform to Compile Databases of Team Skills
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaborative and database compilation ability of the program. I currently use it as a skill database, each person posts what they specialize in and types of talent they have. If you are looking for that you can contact them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not quite sure if it is because of the organization that hosts the airtable I use, but the tags I want to use for skills are great (if you have them) but quickly become limited or too general so I am not able to find skills specific to myself that I can put on my profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of searching for talent within a large group of people that you may not be familiar with. It allows me to search through a compiled database of people to find exactly which expertise I am looking for.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would defiantly recommend airtable to others especially if they are using it as a database to compile skills for their employees or members.
