Creating more efficiency and communication between groups, but still so customizable
Airtable is so robust and almost a solution for everything. It takes time to create but worth it.
What do you like best about the product?
The many different views and leves of interactions with the databases. I love being able to view the same items in different ways or structures.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit complicated to learn how to use at first or it could be more intuitive use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves works with the views, so I don't have to create each layout, and also security with having inputting or view options with no edit permission
Powerful tool to organize data and automate them
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automation and formula function. I like how Airtable makes it easier for its users to store, organize and process their data. With powerful tables can users organize everything in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might bit bit difficult at first to explore all its powerful features, as they are many. But I managed it for some time, using the helpful tips and tutorials. Also there is a community which helps users with difficulties. To find the right programmer was also difficult. The Airtable should make it easier to discover various programmers who are specialized in Airtable automation and code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves my problem by giving me better insights about the records I create in database. It gives me ability to use the powerful automation to organize and make it easier for me to have better overview of my data, with as less a possible manual adjustment.
Great tool for internal process
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very flexible, so we built our internal processes in different bases. We use the view functionality to track the different steps in every process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable could be expensive if you use it for all your company. Airtable bills you per user, regardless of how many bases they use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable solves our need to have an internal tool to track our existing processes. It's very flexible to implement new processes.
A highly flexible low-code solution for your business
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Airtable is. Others on my team are able to hand me some data, and with Airtable, I can make that data talk. Any which way we want to scrutinze that data, we can. I have some tables with 10 fields and others with 50, but they all serve the purpose for which they were created. And there are frequent updates to improve user experience. Also, the community forums have been an absolute lifesaver when I'm building more complexity into my tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any downsides. If there's one more feature I would like, it would be suggestions to remedy when an automation fails. But knowing Airtable, I'm sure I'll see that feature sooner rather than later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a different tool for tracking our legal contracts, but it wasn't robust enough to calculate KPI data based on those contracts. Before Airtable, I had to download a .csv file, remove the irrelevant data, and then put it in a calculator I'd built in Google Sheets -- rinse and repeat every single month. Now all of the contract lifecycle management happens in Airtable; intake forms, alerts to other teams for due dilligence and security screenings, automated approval messages, and real-time KPI data for each contract. It started with my small team's KPIs, but now we have tables tracking KPIs across the entirety of our legal team. We've also built out strategic roadmaps for individual and team projects.
Airtable eats your spreadsheet for breakfast
What do you like best about the product?
The means of filtering, grouping, sorting data is the immediate advantage Airtable has over spreadsheets, you quickly become used to the sort of data manipulation that takes clunky formula, pivot tables etc in your standard spreadsheet package. Moreover, when you present data in any one of the many views available, it looks good.. you can share tables with your peers and allow limited 3rd party access.
Alongside the speed, auto-refresh and almost unlimited possibilities of the automations, are the 'Interfaces' feature Airtable has which goes one step further than just presenting data, but allows interactive workflows, reporting dashboards and enhancements to your processes that our organisation finds invaluable.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no real dislikes, any improvements which we have requested often come from their regular updates or early access betas. One limitation for reporting is that the range of charts/tables offered doesn't currently cover the entire range of graphical representation of data, although many are there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stops us silo'ing data in spreadsheets and through many automations and data sync functions, keeps us synchronised with external data sources e.g. Hubspot.
Allows very very easy to use workflows to send Slacks, email digests and webhook triggers based on data changes/events in our Airtable bases.

What do you dislike about the product?
I still struggle at times with Airtable assuming I understand certain jargon or how it names or refers to things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping me and my team keep a lot of info and links organized and handy to copy/paste or just click to access a URL.

The most intuitive data management system
What do you like best about the product?
I love the different views AirTable offers. Being able to see things on a calendar, in a typical spreadsheet, or in gallery view is so helpful! I also love how easy it is to filter data and find what I need. The options are pretty much unlimited in getting different ways to filter, sort, and group information on the table.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that on the free plan, I can only run so many automations and extra things like graphs. I wish I had the option of adding more for a smaller price than the monthly fee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use AirTable to monitor my product listings, manage my business finances, keep track of blog posts and social media posts, and also personal things like vacation planning and Christmas lists. AirTable provides me an easy way to have everything stored in one place. By using the different views, I can see all of my social media posts with the captions and the date I last posted them. I can literally plan an entire months worth of content in about 30 minutes, by combining AirTable with my social media scheduler. My business finances table allows me to create a form to type information on when I make a purchase, and then I can easily filter and categorize the information when it is time to balance my expenses at the end of the month. My product lists are always easily able to be found, because I have all of the information I need right at my fingertips. I also use AirTable to help me keep track of resources and what step they are in. It's easy for me to see which of my resources need a new cover, which need new content, and which are with my virtual assistant for finishing touches.
