Excellent app
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is very user-friendly and easily customisable. This allows me to create custom databases to suit my needs. Being able to access different views (e.g. gallery, calendar) is also very useful. I also love how I can access the data from anywhere, as long as I have an internet connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
My one minor quibble is that the first column has limited customisability. For example, I can't change the first column to an attachment, a user or a rating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is helping me keep track of my collection, which helps me avoid doubling up or trading the wrong item. It also helps me record information in one location so I can access it when I'm out and about (as long as there's an internet connection).
The opposite of Rigid! A treasure for creative people.
What do you like best about the product?
If you are someone with a creative mind, you'll love Airtable. It can follow almost every change and twist in your thought process - unlike most other project management tools that constrain you with their rigid interfaces and data structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if Airtable allowed creating interfaces that I could share with individuals to only have access to their own set of data. Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible - giving (editable) access to a certain interface or set of data doesn't restrict them from accessing the rest of your data in the database. This is the biggest limitation of this software that prompts me to look for other solutions.

Perfect database and interface creation tool for Citizen Developers like myself. Like Excel on steroids - data sheets with awesome added functionality, very convenient and nice-looking.
It's Great
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has a variety of methods that help projects move forward, including automations and easy to understand tables, charts, and interfaces. It also enables multiple people to communicate seamlessly so everyone is on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that different Airtables bases could access each other when making automations instead of having to mirror the desired table. Letting the separate airtable bases access each other (within the same company) would save time and speed up certain processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps projects at the forefront, helps remember which areas said projects are halted at, and enables easy internal communication.
Good tool, great tool for the right use case
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is good looking, and that helps with user adoption. You can't get users to use something they don't like to look of. Tick.
Flexible enough. It has columns and fields for most of the standard fields you'd need. You can even pick your own icons for rating columns. Fire.
It has integration with other tools like zapier to automate workflow between systems to keep your database. Tick
It has formulas and very intuitive grouping functions. So it allows for meaning data analytics. Tick
The community comes with lots of preset "bases" to kick start your journey with this app, which really helps new users. On top of that some advanced paid features with analytics and data presentation is a very nice to have.
Overall, this app tempts me to move over many of my models over to AirTable.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest disadvantage is the nature of this product. It's a database, a modeller and user data capture GUI. It tries to do many things, delivers, but failed to do any extremely well.
I have tried to move my models over to Airtable : client event attendance analytics, project work (agile), asset tracker, expense tracker, trade tracker, content calendar... to name a few.
Over time I find myself drifting back to the original or another platform that does it better. While there's nothing wrong with how Airtable work, it doesn't fit my workflow and thinking processes as well as other tools.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable provides a flexible canvas for me to be creative in solving my use cases with a front end that looks great. It has enough tools in the kit to help me get my data into a meaningful way that can improve the workflow for me and my team.

The Best Personal & Professional Management Software Around
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of airtables is what drew us to it originally. Now, with more than 6 years of use, I can say it's the best "brain dump zone" I've ever used. From tracking clients and projects, to literally planning our Holiday Card Mailing Addresses and favourite bottles of wine, Airtables has my back.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been so many new additions to Airtables over the year, sometimes I think I'm not getting the best out of it! Have to carve out time to tune into the videos and updates more :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management 101. Airtables makes it so easy for our virtual and in-office team to stay connected and on top of things. And as we grow, we're not losing track of things as much using it.
Offsite storage with regular support!
What do you like best about the product?
Overall it is easy to use for beginners and ramps up for the advanced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ensure it is HIPAA compliant. Implement forced capitalization and various types of masking. Add the capability to use signatures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track members, set reminders for activities, manage time sheets, upload photos, log in and out of activities, and submit trouble tickets for tech support.
A wonderful analysis platform with awesome interface capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable data is easy to shape and visualize. It's a go-to tool for mapping out different options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish airtable interfaces worked on my mobile phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me analyze different options. I also collect information and use it as a weekly reflection and planning tool for my personal use.
Airtable is an easy way to manage data for personal and professional use
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable brings data management and comparison to the masses, creating a solid alternative to a static spreadsheet application like Excel without the complexity of setting up a SQL or MS Access database. It's perfect for personal and home use as well as professional use. There are many limitations to it, but I would call it the "MS Word" of data management. In a similar way that Word is nowhere close to as powerful as Adobe Indesign, it serves a different purpose: a proconsumer oriented product that is accessible to everyone and achieves enough goals to be of value to most people.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's very difficult to manage hierarchical data, such as a one-to-many relationship. Having the ability to view nested tables, like in MS Access, would greatly improve this functionality, or at least having a separate view option for linked records than the standard search window that pops up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is providing a way for me to organize information quickly, easily, and freely at home. For business, I believe paying for the product provides immense value to sharing data and information across the company in a very accessible format.
Airtable revolutionized my classes in the countryside of Brazil
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is the most innovative, valuable, detailed platform to catalog data. I mostly use it to organize my students' names and contributions, and it has helped almost 300 students in Brazil's countryside to go beyond expectations and contribute actively.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it was quite complicated to get the gist and start using Airtable easily. However, after more than a year in the platform, I can see I understand it very well. Nevertheless, I think there should be more tutorials and an easy-guide at the beginning of the platform experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a teacher, I need to organize who my students are, what classes and projects they're a part of and how to call them (e.g., which pronouns to use). Therefore, Airtable helps me do all of that quite faster, so I can focus on studying and producing better graphic materials for my classes.
