Nothing! Even the free version works exceptionally well

Managing material, connections and clients
The missing piece to any no coder person
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the tool, I can do anything!
From automating processes with my team to monitoring translation, from sending forms to my customers to reviewing support tickets and finally inform my team automatically about what happened via the aggregation

What do you dislike about the product?
Tough to go beyond the Excel mentality.
For example, i cannot (or did not find the way to) create a date automatically based on line creation
It is also a bit tricky to get an overall view of bugs

What do you like best about the product?
Empowered to build custom workflows that an off the shelf project management tool couldn't do. This allows my team to be a lot more productive and we are now the leading team of our kind in the country.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding and adoption of colleagues can take a while.
There is one feature that we use a lot that unfortunately is quite slow. I hope the loading time for utilisation timeline views gets improved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows me to retrieve data on anything we need and produce reports that help prove our increased efficiency and productivity. Our business performance has improved and we have been rewarded with more budget than other teams thanks to Airtable.
A useful and adaptable project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the various views you can create, in a number of different formats. I love that it can be shared in whatever state to whoever needs it. I really love the integration with other tools that it allows and the collaborative nature of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the options are almost too endless which can be daunting at first. Support from the AT team have been amazing however I almost need an Airtable 101 resource to reference occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to manage workflow across various different departments entirely seamlessly and without disparate different documents and resources paving the way through a project. Everything being centralised and having a comments section linked to each element is perfect.
Game changer for our business
What do you like best about the product?
The sheer amount of data that you can compile, track, and analyze in Airtable is astounding. It has transformed just about every area of our business, from project management to production analysis to employee record-keeping and onboarding and so much more. With integrations from Zapier and Make, your source data is essentially unlimited. We would be piloting a ship sans a rudder without Airtable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the extensions are difficult to use and require some advanced knowledge. To my knowledge, it is not possible to overlay multiple sets of data on the built-in chart extension, and requires Vega-Lite to do that. I have neither the time nor desire to learn that, which is a bummer for something that is easily achievable on other platforms such as Google Sheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to access vast amounts of company data, from a birds-eye view to granular, which helps inform our decision-making process in all departments across our company.
All it one solution
What do you like best about the product?
No need to invest in high-cost solutions. Easy to use, low-cost, flexible, easy to learn, costumizable
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboarding might be better. Graphics are limited. It is not possible to compare rows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me to follow my daily business, leads, sales figures.
Running Marketing ops with AirTable
What do you like best about the product?
Different bases for different aspects of work. But every base is shareable on an individual level with custom views. This makes AirTable incredibly efficient as a collab tool as well as a communication tool for getting the right info across to the C-suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas and the different approach to spreadsheet logic could prove a little bumpy to overcome at first. It'd be nice if AirTable took out the time to educate users more right from the get go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shareable work across teams and departments, making it extremely easy to cross-reference each other's work. Additionally, it works very well as a CMS maintenance aid for Webflow, considering how integrable the app is.
Great product for multiple uses!
What do you like best about the product?
This is a versatile piece of software. I've used it for years: first, to track sales of household items when moving, then later for much more complex projects. A well-designed layout helps keep information clear and neat, whilst the functions for data are extremely powerful. I hardly scratch the surface of Airtable's capability, even with several complex bases on the go.
Pros
- Very powerful
- Easy to use – with lots of information online to learn
- Ability to capture information through forms which feed directly into a table
- Multi-use
- Pleasing design

What do you dislike about the product?
Airtable is not a spreadsheet, so it takes some time to get your head around it. Once you’ve done this, it’s a helpful tool. A few frustrating niggles (such as not being able to have titles on two lines – this makes long titles with small data fields ridiculous on a spreadsheet) continue to persist.
The next level up for Airtable is expensive (from the free version), but the free version does plenty.

Here are two scenarios we have used as a small charity.
1. Finances: expenses, claims, bank records
Airtable has made life much easier for us with our summer project finances. It allows volunteers to claim expenses through a form which collects all relevant information about the expenses, bank details for repayment and allows an image to be uploaded. This feeds into a Base (document) which also tracks bank records and reimbursements. As a non-coder, this allowed us to build a financial system that fit our needs. A few clicks gave our treasurer access, and audit trails were visible – as well as easy analysis of expenditure and income.
2. Application tracking
Every year we have dozens of applications for a summer project. These applicants need to be referenced, sorted, screened, and then accepted onto relevant teams and linked with host families who can cater to each applicant's needs during their time with us. A complex system which has been made simple with Airtable. Airtable links directly to our website through the API, and neatly pulls through a PDF application and any data we need for each applicant to enable us to sort. A separate table is built for hosts, and linking these tables is a doddle with Airtable. We no longer need to retrieve information from multiple courses, re-save updated information to Dropbox (for outside volunteers) and Onedrive (for staff), and keep archival records for the future. Now Airtable does all this, and each year one central Airtable document contains all we need – and all data is easily processed or deleted according to GDPR standards.

A remarkable service, constantly improving
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to develop workflows, multiple views in kanban, gallery, forms is a game changer, nothing out there tackles all of these elements with the level of detail that Airtable sees.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be a bit high for larger teams, it would be great to get bulk discounts as you go up in team numbers. And also an option to have one person have pro with invited people but they can't access the rest of the pro services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This service takes excel into the 21st century. It makes data directly actionable, filterable and usable by multiple people in multiple formats. The external views then make this a total game changer.
(Almost-) the Perfect Organization Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love too many things about Airtable. Firstly I find it quite useful to organize and relate data. Sometimes you have to work with abstract connections between different data, and Airtable allows me to set a reference and define the rest of the parameters around them.
Also, it's so helpful to have different ways to display the same information. In my office, we use personal and 'grouped' views to customize the content each person has to see. And of course being able to set a calendar, gallery or kanban view it's great to optimize some other tasks through a visual display.
I wouldn't stop talking about features that I like...the extension for graphs, automations, the link with Miro, the general customization, the drag and drop function, filters, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
As I said before, I love the software so much...that's why sometimes I even expect (maybe) too much from it. But one of the things I find a bit tricky is that you can't create a group of blank records at once. In my job, sometimes I have to create 300 records which I will later be filling up, so creating them one by one it's a bit annoying.
Also, I've seen the software change through time and evolve a lot; I've noticed it has many new functionalities and options that sound amazing (I know about them by reading the e-mails you send). In this aspect, it's a pity that my colleagues and I barely have time to check and investigate these new features, even if we are interested in them. So I think it would be helpful to have a more attractive, engaging and simple way to discover them without making a considerable effort (I know it could sound too picky, and it is! haha, I'm just trying to tell you how our experience is with the updates on the software).

As I said it before: organization and visualization of data. But also helps to manage our team and products (specially when talking about tech products).
Airtable allowed us to scale up our production by helping to classify the information, connect data from the search along the whole process. From the research phase till the final publication and delivery to our users.
