Database management with sheets rather than sql
What do you like best about the product?
The card view for records feels like the best feature yet which shows everything about a record in an amazing format.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first column always has to have your primary key otherwise joining tables is hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving us the user friendliness of sheets to maintain our basic finance database.

For more than 2yrs i haven't experienced any dislikes about it since it offers our services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking orders and keeping me updated to the status of the business.

What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has the best UI and can be used for taking in various different data sets which helped us build recruitment forms and surveys, most notably its custom link which can be added to take in data and analyze it and can be downloaded as an excel sheet & custom branding which helps us stand different than other users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile application needs a bit of work since it has poor UI in fonts and customizing things in a form, which can only be done using a desktop-based application, moreover, the charting needs to look better on the mobile-based environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use airtable as a CRM for recruitment, we also love the collaboration features and the product is designed to the point where it helps us increase productivity and user engagement which has transformed into helping us hire more efficiently and managing KPI for particular incidents.
More than just a spreadsheet!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable provides all the same capabilities you would get with a standard spreadsheet but amplifies that by 100X! It provides the robust simplicity of filtering/grouping, tons of extensions that can be added, and the ease of accessibility to collaborate with others is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not one thing I dislike about airtable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airable solves the simplicity aspect and provides an excellent organization that similar products do not.
Excellent project and data management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to learn even if you've never used a database tool like it before. I like the colour coding on tags, as it helps me visualise, and I like that you can connect different tables through various fields, and the data keeps in sync. It has come in handy many times!
What do you dislike about the product?
The automations can sometimes be finicky to set up, and sometimes the connections between tables of data can break - but that may be down to user error rather than the product itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to keep a bunch of data together, have a way to input the data and categorise it, and use it to manage projects and events. It has been great to use and really helpful, much better than a simple spreadsheet would've been!
Organize Your needs with Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility of Airtable; it offers a range of uses that can be tailored to suit my needs in both business and personal life. In my car repair job, I use its tracking features to monitor the progress of teams tasked with wheel repairs. For music instrument manufacturing, I utilize its automated capabilities (e.g., purchase orders & price quotes) to track stock holdings across thousands of individual parts. On the home front, I turn towards it for budget maintenance and project management around improvement projects inside or outside the house! Ultimately, it makes my day-to-day more accessible and more organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Airtable's limited table-arrangement options problematic. I can only adjust the color of rows if I subscribe to the premium plan, and it doesn't have a feature that allows me to personalize my database depending on what each user needs. This also means every alteration one team member makes is visible to everyone else in real time - which often becomes an unnecessary hassle!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has been a great help in providing us with an efficient system to track and organize any data. It offers several ready-made, structured templates that can be quickly tailored to our needs and more customized options for larger teams looking to manage their projects, customers, and ideas from one central resource.

usage of formula can be complexe, and some of them are missing for my usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing events is quite complexe. With airtable I could list all attendees, follow their participation, discuss with the supplier the number of attendees for each activity.
Using customized view is much more better than using combinaison of filters in spreadsheet.

A great tool to manage your business (especially if you hate Excel)
What do you like best about the product?
Its multiple possibilities for use. The fact that you can switch from traditional tables to others in Trello style is a great advantage. And to be honest, its visual interface is a great advantage, especially if Excel horrifies you, as it does in my case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its learning curve is quite steep, especially since they included the possibility of doing automations. That said, it can become a positive point for many other people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me organize the information I have about each of my created products and those that are in progress. For a long time, I also used it to organize my online classes.
The database that is easy and extendable.
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is so easy that you'll have your database up in no time. Then you can make different views to share with anyone! I'm starting to love Interface Builder too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Making calculated field content permanent requires scripting. Using a button to initiate the script is a good workaround. If Airtable had a field type that would take a calculated field as input and use the output just once, that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our data is managed in a system that was developed ten years ago. Using an Airtable extension, Data Fetcher, we can automatically import a JSON file from that old system. Airtable allows us to present the information how we want it to appear. We are also able to add additional custom information. Then I share different Airtable views with each of our schools.
Handling chores any way we see fit
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to other database systems I've used, Airtable is (for the most part) quite forgiving when working with data. The intricacy of supports while remaining logical and extremely fast impresses me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain decisions made by API are odd. The main drawback is that you have to use the actual column name when referencing a column instead of using an internal ID, which is particularly error-prone for large teams. The ability to quickly search for a record using a field value is also lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an alternative to SalesForce as our CRM, we adopted AirTable. It was simpler to adapt fields for our particular applications and the interface was friendlier overall.
