A fully-featured research, VotC and community management tool
What do you like best about the product?
At Sunbelt, we use Alida for all of our VotC research using its embedded Touchpoint survey tool. We also make heavy use of the custom surveys for a variety of user research functions. And we use Alida's community management system to manage a group of over 700 research participants. I've found that it's relatively easy to use and effective in those roles. I especially appreciate the prompt and dedicated customer service we receive from our rep, which made implementation and integration straightforward. We use Alida daily for customer research.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of Alida's functions work as needed, but their user interface is a little idiosyncratic and takes some getting used to. The biggest issue I have at the moment is with the reports available in surveys. They have their old "classic" reports and new "modern" reports which are gradually phasing out the old ones – but both have strengths and weaknesses, and neither do everything we want it to. For instance, you can't see verbatims in classic reports, but modern reports don't support all question types. So I find I'm constantly hopping between them and synthesizing the data myself. Other than that, it's been a very useful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alida allows us to get monitor feedback from our customers and measure the health of our user experience via a UMUX-Lite survey. It also enables us to run ad-hoc customer research through its survey tool.
Easy to Use with Great Support, but Limited Survey Customization
What do you like best about the product?
It's been almost 6 years since I started using Alida, and I have seen huge improvements since then. The surveys are really easy to setup and the documentation is very helpful. Our success managers are really experienced and ensures that our projects are running smoothly and recommends best practices for us to drive out better insights with our studies.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there is one thing that I'd like Alida to improve on, it will be the user interface for survey takers. The spaces are too wide. There is almost no option to customize the entire look and feel of the survey; as compared to the other survey platforms that we use there is no available CSS and HTML scripting in Alida. Also, some of the question types needs to be purchased separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alida is a really great tool as it helps us connect with our customers easily. It enables us to ask quick questions whenever we need to decide on something quickly wherein we need our customers insight on the matter.
A vital VoC tool for our organization
What do you like best about the product?
Alida is enabling us to bring the voices of our customers into decisions we are making. It is an intuitive, easy-to-use tool and we're able to gather feedback quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Clunky reporting, but improvements have been made and they seem to listen to their customer's feedback and enhancement requests.

Alida helps us validate decisions and projects we're working on to improve patient and family experiences.

What do you like best about the product?
The overal service provide is outstanding. The platform is user friendly and they continue to grow the UI keeping ahead of the industry standard.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there is a plethora of help and training docs and videos, it can be a bit overwhelming and hard to search for what you're specifically looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As local networks & a streaming app, having a panel of our actual viewers & users is super benefical to our overal business.
High Value Partnership with Alida
What do you like best about the product?
Love the quick turn-around DIY approach which enables cross-functional team members to easily run their own targeted surveys. Alida is our "go-to" for many VOC research needs, from brand messaging to product development and most recently for ethnographic research using a combination of their survey platform and video discussions. Further, Alida's customer service team is one of the best I've worked with - super responsive, knowledgeable and interested in understanding our needs to help drive our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about Alida. As long as we continually monitor our panel and keep them engaged, then we get the high quality responses and feedback we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product design optimization, new concept sentiment, brand messaging and logo development to name a few. Having our panel to pulse as needed is invaluable in saving time and money compared to running custom research projects.
Very helpful platform + partner help
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to recruit users to the panel and manage them once they're in. Very easy to send comms and see demographic make ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI could use some beautification, but it's still usable as is.

Excellent DIY survey and panel management tool for its package
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was designed for users who are both experienced in doing DIY and newbies alike. Its platform management is also easy to learn and use. Most of all, its extremely cost-effective since its package is not based on no. of responses or surveys but to the panel size, which means you need to ensure that your panel is active and you can have good productivity. Customer support of PH team is also helpful and creative in coming up with ways how to make the survey work for our requirement.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still web-based so sometimes it misses on saving the progress, especially when you are masking choices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we have a lot of DIY studies, which would be very expensive if done by an agency.
Easy To Use Surveying Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The biggest selling point to me is the speed of response. With Alida, we are able to quickly survey our audience and get insights soon after.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the challenges we have with Alida is the quality of user responses. Sometimes it feels people do not put a lot of effort into the surveys.

An excellent experience with Alida
What do you like best about the product?
I love the overall experience with Alida. The platform is incredibly user friendly and intuitive. It makes naviagting the process easy allowing you to work smarter not harder. Beyond the the Alida platform itself, Alida has the best customer success reps. I am so grateful for all the support that they constantly provide. They are thorough, detail oriented and quick to respond.
