Integrations made easy - Merge makes it happen!

What do you like best about the product?
Merge is easy to use, they have fantastic documentation, and the team continuously provides amazing support. Merge is truly a game-changer for the industry, and for our company and our users. I actually look forward to setting up integrations now instead of dreading them!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, the only downside is some integrations do not have a sandbox environment. That doesn't really have anything to do with Merge though. One thing I would be interested in is some sort of Merge Community, where I could interact with and learn from other Merge customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my experience as a product manager, setting up integrations can be, at best, difficult. Merge has been a game-changer for us - allowing us to plan for and release new integrations that provide value to our customers and set up apart from our competitors. Our sales team has been greatly unblocked thanks to Merge. We've added multiple HRIS integrations and are looking into their new Accounting integrations.

Unified APIs are the future and Merge is leading the way

What do you like best about the product?
Merge solves a complex issue in an extremely elegant way, and their support is best in class
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that haven't been normalized that still require passthrough requests, but that's to be expected as these APIs vary so drastically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a deep integration with multiple ATSs, requiring us to do a full sync of all available data and receive realtime updates. We're able to spend more time working on product and less time fixing sync issues!

What do you like best about the product?
Merge has been a game-changer for us. Thanks to Merge, we've expanded the number of customers we can service, we've been able to ship faster, and we can deliver more value to our customers.
Their technology and documentation are really strong, and their customer support is fantastic. They are true partners in every sense of the word.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their focus has been on HRIS and ATS, which is immensely helpful. There are other system types we'd love to see them expand into, and are hoping they'll do so soon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing our customers' data quickly and securely, such that we can deliver value to them. Without Merge, we'd need an entire team staffed to deliver the same value. With Merge, we can be significantly more lean and scalable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think no further. Merge is amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
The team is incredibly helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The user interface is straightforward to use and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Very impressed with their company. Someone is almost always available to help!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are building into various HRIS and PEOs. The Merge API helps make that process faster, easier, and more efficient.

Merge is Awesome

What do you like best about the product?
Merge has been our primary data source for HRIS and ATS data. So far, they've done a great job of getting us all the data both mapped to a standard schema and as raw. This saves us a ton of time and engineering efforts trying to build and maintain these API connections for us. They've also worked very quickly to deliver on new features, new integrations, and bug fixes. So far, we're very pleased with Merge and would highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Merge does not allow you to distinguish between records that have been deleted and ones that are still active. This is on their roadmap but is technically difficult to do. There are 2 workarounds, the best is if the client doesn't delete any records from the HRIS or ATS systems and instead marks them as inactive. This is good from a record-keeping respective anyways. The second is to manually mark on your records to stop syncing the deleted ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to get data from HRIS and ATS systems. Maybe soon Payroll.

What do you like best about the product?
Their product, hands down, is the best in the market. They integrate deeply with such a wide breadth of the HRIS and ATS market. The integrations are really reliable and tied to our core product flows. On top of that, their team is really responsive to feedback and is really helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a "dislike", but I wish Merge could integrate with more systems. They currently have accounting on their roadmap, but I would love to see identity providers, task management, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Merge to populate employee metadata such as manager and employment state. This has allowed us to provide a much deeper service in real-time for our customers.

All your HRIS & ATS needs wrapped into a beautiful API and web application

What do you like best about the product?
I started integrating into HRIS systems one by one and quickly realized that the industry is very fragmented and complicated. I was going to need an API partner that took care of all of the subtle details from a 1:many perspective as it relates to HR data. Merge API team did this with excellence with their API, their easy-to-use web application, and their AMAZING team. The engineering team and even the founders would even get on with me on a shared slack channel to help us figure out edge cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number one thing I dislike is how complex this industry makes it to get sandbox accounts if you want to integrate with a new HRIS provider. The Merge API team helps us get through that pain, and they seem to release new integrations every month!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The core problem we're solving with Merge API is we needed a 1:many API for all of these different HRIS & ATS tools.

1. We don't need to partner with these companies direct anymore, saving a lot of time.
2. The Merge API has a standard schema to it; it's kind of like Segment for the HRIS & ATS industry.
3. The web application lets the Customer Success team sign in and deep dive into a customer issue without getting engineering involved.
4. All of this added up, saves us on our engineering head-count budget, and allows our engineers to build more product features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are a few other players in this space. I've worked with a couple of them, and NONE OF THEM support you as the Merge team does. Their commitment to their customers is a 10/10, and their commitment to clean API data is top-notch!
