Great to educate and convert website visitors to signups!
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, I could literally create my first demo in 15 min. Also the freemium model and no barriers to try it out.
What do you dislike about the product?
It works well so far, I have not noticed any current downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us quickly educate our website visitors about Crux offerings, and plays a role in converting them into signups.
An incredible and straight forward solution to explain your product with no code skills needed
What do you like best about the product?
The Chrome extension for capturing images of products is truly remarkable and addresses a significant user problem. It boasts a multitude of useful features, and you can publish a demo without any limitations on frames to test the product.
Taking it a step further, the customer support team is top-notch. I had questions about how to implement Storylane using Google Tag Manager, and they arranged a one-on-one meeting with their development team. They were very kind and supportive, even though I had a free account. On the other hand, when I needed to adapt a demo for the mobile experience, they shared a Loom video guiding me through the process step by step.
Integrating with HubSpot forms is a piece of cake to set up and also functions quite well.

What do you dislike about the product?
The event tracking doesn't seem very accurate yet. I had to create custom events in Google Tag Manager (GTM) to improve the accuracy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The product of my client is a SaaS very difficult to explain and understand. Storylane help us to show it and explain it at the same time.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only record a demo, but complete it through to production has made the end to end demo recording process a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the load time of the demo's is long
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps with end to end demo creation and recording process- without needing to bring in external agencies to manage the final packaging with step by step guides.
Easy to use, love the integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from Marketing Ops world, it was easy to set up and integrate with our MAP and CRM. The insights we gain from the integration we are able to use to score leads and send them related collateral.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't ran into anything major yet. I will add that there are some confusing parts regarding having multiple URLs for one demo but after getting a grasp on it, I actually found the feature useful for tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to build demos and embed those demos on marketing assets that are used in various campaigns.

The best part is:
- The bulk actions when you make edits to the format of the text
- The embed options with a lot of customisation (adding buttons, entry pages etc)

I would like to add text on multiple pages of a single page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our Help Center, it is beneficial to have a quick visual of the steps of a feature or setup process.
Super functional
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is that it helps SaaS a lot because it allows people to explore the software you are selling in a very intuitive way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only bad thing is that we should be able to place the videos over a certain part of the demo and have the rest be a capture of what we are showing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, we used to do live demos, the problem was that sometimes people's internet wasn't the best, which resulted in bad experiences. Now with Storylane, the demos are preloaded and it's much easier to do these explorations with clients.

What do you like best about the product?
We use it to demo a lot of the features of our product both Froala(froala.com) and Filestack. And we even use it at the front page of Froala.

It works but sometimes it's slow to load.

What do you like best about the product?
We needed a way to demo complex software B2B software that is used throughout the investment management process and for commercial lending. Videos were costly and time-consuming and quickly became outdated as product interfaces changed. Storylane is intuitive and easy to use, and its Customer Success team is great. It is very easy to start using - just sign up and get your login. Because it's a cloud-based SaaS solution, people across your organization have access to demos and can work collaboratively to create, update, review, share, and use them.
We initially used Storylane to create visually engaging demos to use at events, and this use case alone made it a great purchase. We've also used it to create detailed interactive demos for use during pre-sales workshopping as an alternative to demo environments. Now we're expanding our usage to include pre-sales, as a prospecting tool, and as a leave-behind following sales calls and demonstrations. Storylane is helping us rethink how we talk to clients about product enhancements and how we help prospects understand how our products work. As a product marketer, it helps me enable our product SMEs and pre-sales teams to rethink the way they demo our products internally and externally.

Storylane continues to evolve as a SaaS product, so occasional gaps in functionality are understandable. However, the Storylane team more than compensates for this by providing helpful workarounds and regularly rolling out new functionality, including some of our priorities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We sell highly complex accounting, portfolio management, and oversight products for asset managers, so demos involve a lot of movement around in different demo tools and platforms. It's difficult to visualize how (prospective) customers will use our tools, and traditional videos were too costly and quickly became outdated.Storylane helps us streamline this approach and tell persona and scenario-led stories rather than just doing a feature show and tell. Storylane has made product demos and roundtables much more engaging at events and is a great leave-behind following sales calls.

It is incredibly easy to build a product tour, but also very deep and customizable for different use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small complaints that are minor compared to the benefits of the software, but most are being addressed via the roadmap. Overall, it is difficult to find any negatives worth mentioning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our time to get a prospect to view the product was incredibly long. Storylane gives the prospect immediate access to the look and feel of our product, and that is important in getting them deepre into the funnel more quickly.
