    Guided demos have transformed our AI assistant showcase and now educate buyers independently

    What is our primary use case?

    My main use case for Storylane  is guided demos to give people an understanding of the use cases we can meet within our product.

    We created a demo showing our AI assistant and how you can interact with her and the types of questions you can ask. People responded positively to that AI assistant demo; they loved it. I don't know that it helped with conversions, but it definitely helped people understand and get a visual of what we were talking about.

    What is most valuable?

    The best features that Storylane  offers include the AI capabilities, which really help us create things fast and get us at least 70% of the way there, so things are much easier and we can scale quicker.

    The AI helps me with scaling as it just makes things very quick and it has come to learn our business, so it tends to be quite accurate. Other features include customization and ease of customization. Storylane is also fairly cheap for the value it provides.

    Storylane has really improved the quality of our content in a positive way. It has improved our content quality because more buyers are doing research on their own, allowing us to provide a more in-depth view of our product, so people don't need to interact with sales.

    What needs improvement?

    For our use case, I don't actually see any way Storylane could be improved. We do want to use the form lead-gathering capability, but we don't have the plan and to bump up would be a huge expense, like 10 times the cost.

    For how long have I used the solution?

    I have been using Storylane for just over a year.

    What other advice do I have?

    I don't know too much about Storylane's AI capabilities regarding its governance and security.

    Regarding Storylane's AI capabilities, I think its accuracy and reliability of output are very accurate, almost scarily good. Storylane is deployed in my organization, and I think we use a public cloud. I don't know which cloud provider we use.

    My advice to others looking into using Storylane is to make sure you take the time to learn it and start using it as soon as possible because it really does provide so much value. I would rate this product with a score of 10.

    Easy-to-Use Demos That Boost Conversions, Backed by Responsive Support

    What do you like best about the product?
    Storylane makes my life as a demand gen manager much easier! The interface is easy to navigate and I don't get lost or have issues finding features. The integrations are just right and webhooks are especially helpful if you use Clay. The price is well worth it, we've significantly improved website conversion rates using an on-demand demo. The support team is very responsive as well.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    The ability to use gifs or animations on a screen would be helpful
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    We want to speed up sales cycles and believe in a buyer enabled journey. We needed a way to improve website conversions and allow prospects to self-serve in a time where talking to sales is generally a last step

    What do you like best about the product?
    What I like most about Storylane is how easy it is to create interactive product demos that actually feel like using the real application. Instead of relying on static screenshots or long videos, we can guide prospects through the most important features in a structured and engaging way. It helps us explain our product much faster, especially during the awareness and consideration stages, and gives potential customers the freedom to explore at their own pace.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    My main concern is that some changes happen unexpectedly. We experienced a design update that affected our demos without clear communication, and at one point the video export feature stopped working. The AI Assistant also occasionally modified existing step content while adding new screens, with no undo option available. These issues weren't frequent, but they did create extra work when maintaining demos.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    As a B2B SaaS company, one of our biggest challenges is helping prospects quickly understand the value of our platform. Storylane solves this by allowing us to present our product through interactive, self-guided demos instead of static screenshots or long videos. This generates more interest, makes complex features easier to understand, and gives potential customers a much better first product experience before they talk to sales.

    The end result and the click through demos are not polished enough, not enough customization options.

    Storylane’s AI Storytelling Slides with Proactive Support and Performance Tracking

    What do you like best about the product?
    I really like how the slides are structured automatically so the presentation feels like a story. That feature makes my work easier and helps everything flow more naturally. I think it's the AI intelligence. Also, I frequently get support proactively with suggestions and all. Finally, I love that I can track the performance of my storylane slides whenever someone clicks throgh, as well as the easy-to-navigate UI of the slides.
    What do you dislike about the product?
    Right now, my main concern is the pricing. The per-seat pricing model doesn’t really work for me, and given how large our company is, it would likely become expensive over the long run.
    What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
    Our biggest issue has always been onboarding. I used to have to book demo sessions with potential clients every time, but with Storylane that task is much easier. Now I can either share the slides or integrate on my website, which makes the whole process smoother.
