What do you like best about the product?
- The speed in which you can bring a demo live for customers is fantastic . It can be done in a matter of minutes.
- The Chrome extension is great for capturing quick snapshots of key features and then cleaning up the demo on the website later on.
- The "blur" functionality is great for using potentially sensitive customer pages as demos without risking confidentiality issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UX for creating steps in demos can take some time to get used to. Sometimes there are more clicks than necessary to get something done. If you like to get fancy with the positioning/format/display of customer directions in a demo, things can get a bit buggy to get just right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company makes software with many different customer-facing workflows, some of which serve multiple purposes or are used differently depending on the stakeholder. Storylane helps me craft simple demos in minutes that I can share with customers, replacing the need for screenshots via email or phone calls.
We use Storylane demos for sales conversations where the customer wants to know how they can expect to interface with the Platform. If they're churning from another provider to our software, understanding this page-by-page comparison is helpful for getting them to a buying position, or disqualifying them as a prospect.
For existing customers, making more detailed demos to show customers how to self-serve leverage our product is immensely helpful. It cuts back on live phone calls for demo conversations and limits email volume in our customer support inbox. I created a few demos for our customer support team, and they immediately came back with 10+ additional demo ideas that would help their team immediately.

Quick, Easy, Effecient
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is incredible. The support team is there to ensure I am using the software in the best way possible and often provides tips and tricks to make things that align with my goals. The number of features available allows me to easily adjust the content based on my specific needs. Getting started was almost effortless! I use Storylane daily as the integration with Hubspot allows me to create email content quickly and efficiently.

I have nothing bad to say about Storylane!

What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to quickly build tutorials and demos of complex operations that you know will help clients and prospects understand better by going through it at their own pace as if they were interacting with the actual software. If you are dealing with a complex tool meant for specialist this is crucial, especially if you are presenting a novel way of doing things and need to fight entrenched ideas and ontologies.
Using Storylane you can present your value proposition with context, guiding the user in a way that gives them a real sense of your tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
Certain complexities of HTML based Storylanes are not able to capture acurately for now, such as load on demand tables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is reducing our workload by providing a sufficient interactive experience of our product to prospective clients and helping us filter to whom we actually dedicate company resources for actual live demos.
Very intuitive and great customer service
What do you like best about the product?
I found this very intuitive and easy to use. I got help from Luka and found the customer service excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could set the level of blur. Sometimes it is a bit too blurred, but still, better than not blurring at all.

Creating demo videos without manally taking screenshots on all relevant pages. The beacons help to draw the eye where you want it too.
Pretty Easy to Use and Very Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes creating product tours incredibly easy. You can customize the type of message or pop up to fit your organization's branding. I love that you can blur certain information on each page so that you can still take screenshots but hide any customer/sensitive information. They also have a bunch of really helpful onboarding guides that got me up and running in less than 30 minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really run into any problems yet, but my team jsut onboarded this tool a few weeks ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our previous tour builder was too complicated and cumbersome...everyone on my team dreaded having to put one together. Now it takes a fraction of the time and is a better experience.
Intuitive, customisable and easy to use!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are lots of customisation options so I can make the demos fit into our branding. The CS team also tend to get back to you very quickly and always try to help you solve your problems. It's super intuitive to use, set-up and is well-priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take a bit of time to get used to the screenshotting, and sometimes not all the steps are captured. But once you've done a couple demos it comes very natural. There are the occasional bug issues, which I'm not always sure they are fixing and some features that could/should be added (e.g. filtering out viewers from your own company in the view analytics).

Helps us demonstrate the platform to prospective customers so that we don't have to do it all using videos.

Ease of use, and sharing capabilities. It is very easy to create demos and share them with prospects, without any codingrequired.

nothing major, it works well at the moment.

It helps me create sales presentations. In the past, I was using PowerPoint and it took long to manually take screenshots and add annotations. I cut the time by at least 30 min per presentation now.
