Perfect for low-effort but high-result sales and support materials

Limited resources (mainly time) to create extensive demo videos, Storylane completely solves this by being so easy to use
Storylane is integral to our sales funnel!

I didn't realise how useful it would be when I signed up. The only thing thing extra I would like would be a custom domain

The chrome plug in makes it exceptionally easy to create a demo.

It would be nice if it were easier to embedd in CMS. But I guess this also depends on the CMS.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is incredibly easy-to-use from the minute you log in and start making your first product demo. We have very good feedback internally as the solution was easily adopted by our PMM, Marketing and Sales enablement teams. It only takes up to 30 minutes to build a product demo that will amaze our customers. We have enough features to customize our product demos and make them very unique to our brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today our struggle is that we need to make one demo per langage, change the screenshots and write the new text as we operate in different european markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us show the value of our solution in a couple of minutes. We can demo the main features and bring our customers to the Aha moment. From this moment, we are pushing the customers to request for a free trial or a demo with our sales teams. Storylane increase our conversion rate from leads to Product qualified leads.

Ease of use, This immersive approach not only educates users on the platform's features but also allows them to envision how it can be integrated into their own projects, making it a powerful tool for driving user engagement and conversion.

If the interactive demo can show up better on mobile that would be great.

Making it interactive to user which increase website traffic and lead generation.
Super easy to use, demos look very professional
What do you like best about the product?
I used the screenshots for both my demos and the whole process to build and configure them was quite intuitive. The feature set is pretty good too, e.g. the different types of interactions like hotspots and zoom. I'm very happy with the way demos look and feel on our website and already got feedback that the demos make our product easy to understand. Their support team replied to the one question I had in less than 1 day which is decent.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of their main features, looping an auto play demo, is buried in the menus and has been implemented in a strange way. Ultimately it works well once you find out how to do it.

Very easy to use. Training videos and demos can be created in a short time.

Won't be able to edit the speed of voice over.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Putting together visual presentation and voice together. Some people are not born a trainer, my team use external text to speech application to create voice over that will have to be put together with the visual (video) presentation. Often it is difficult to match the pacing of the voice over with the video. Storylane solves this challenge because of the built in text to speech feature.
Amazing tool for Product Demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is very easy to use and intuitive. It makes my life as a Customer Success Engineer easier. We are communicating our complex product with Storylane to our customers and it helps them to understand our product better and much faster. I use it for different things on a weekly basis. Accessing and handling Storylane is easy and straightforward and it integrates perfectly with my workflow.
I ahven't yet used Storylane to it's fullest potential but I can already see that training and onboarding of our customers is much facilitated.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are some minor bugs related to the html capture. Sometimes Storylane cannot work well with AG grid tables that we work on our platform so I need to make some tweaks before capture. But nothing too bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides our customers with a perfect mix between a "boring" video and a live demo session. As a CSM I can sent out Storylane links to my Customer base as more interactive click-through demos where learning is potetiated and onboarding is promoted. We have not yet integarted Storylane into our Sales process but I see tremendous potential there as well.

Storylane is a game-changer for anyone looking to switch up how they create tutorials. Unlike traditional video tutorials that can be lengthy and tough to update, Storylane captures the entire HTML of the software you're demonstrating. This means you can easily tweak and update tutorials without starting from scratch—super handy for keeping things current.
What really makes it great, though, is how interactive the user experience is. Instead of just watching a video or clicking through static screenshots, users interact with an "HTML demo" that feels like they're actually using the software. It's a much more engaging way to learn and a great tool for anyone looking to deliver clear, effective tutorials.

I have started using it recently, so I did not see anything negative till now.
