Storylane is a well designed intuitive product tour technology - highly recommend!

What do you like best about the product?
By far, the fact that it was just as easy as it was packed with powerful features - I was able to get my first Storylane internal product demonstration out the door the same day I gained access. Their support team was available in-product via chat and incredibly responsive. When it comes to product tours, it doesn't get easier than Storylane.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two things: (1) For us, Storylane lacks certain functionality (ex. suppressing access to certain domains) that is made up for via integrations with Marketo. While that sounds great - an integration and all - but it added extra steps and manual processes that will continue to make product tour creation more tedious than it needs to be. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider. (2) The second area I dislike is file/demo storage. The hierarchy is one layer deep and harder to navigate your way through 10+ demos. Ideally, they should adapt to a more CMS like system along subfolders. Again, not a deal-breaker, but important to highlight for their product teams should they see this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Stackline, we leverage Storylane to showcase our platform across articles, press releases, documentation, and beyond. Traditionally, our posts featured solely images and a 'click here to demo' button. Today, we empower customers and prospects to experience firsthand the look and feel of our product at each phase of the buyer's journey.

Easy to use and hits home with prospects

What do you like best about the product?
The program is very easy to use and intuitive. Our sales team has been using this tool since day one and we are seeing a much higher click conversion than before!
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I don't have it in my plan, but there is no way for me to see outside of hubspot if the demo was clicked on, how many views it had, and for how long (Analytics)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our software can be pretty complex. Sometimes customers have questions and want to jump on yet another call or demo. Storylane has really helped up showcase features to customers, and I can put together a quick one to highlight specific features on the fly. Then in the future, I can defualt to the library when I have a new prospect ask me the same question.

What do you like best about the product?
Very useful to show your end users a brief run-through of your product! We had great success including Storyline as a module on our site!
What do you dislike about the product?
More customization and being able to control colors!

Need to show visual readers a brief 5-minute gist of what's what in our FE dashboard.

Super easy no code tool for demo creation

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to get up and running. Customer support is very helpful with any questions. I got my first demo created within an hour after I signed up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. It was a very smooth on-boarding experience. The no code tool is super intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helps us create a sandboxed environment with scrambled data for our sales team to demo.

What do you like best about the product?
As a support engineer, I often find myself needing to guide users through specific technical processes, and Storylane is my go to tool - plus its easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far it has been a smooth experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of creating multiple screen recording or attaching multiple screenshots I use Storylane to showcase the steps that needs to be followed instead; it saves a lot of time and it looks more professional

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has helped us get our buyers and sellers closer to our marketplace and understand how to follow step-by-steps. We leverage it for our follow-ups, newsletters, and even when doing social selling.

The speed of it is unreal and it just a plug and play for your current process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There nothing I dislike right now but I'll be ready to submit a ticket if I do!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's supporting our outbound efforts, and it's even considered as a knowledge base for internal use, which helps the team stay up to date.

What do you like best about the product?
From the moment I started using the platform, I found it to be exceptionally user-friendly and intuitive.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Story Lane to create training materials for my company. It is a quick and intuitive tool with a strong modern feel packing plenty of customizations. The one area I would hope to see improved is the browser extension. It could be a little more user-friendly when updating or coming back to work on an existing story. Over all, I highly recommend this and have already referred others to this program.

how intuitive it is and the fact that they also have an easy to find library or help resources so I can solve my own issues and answer my own questions

It allows me to create training materials for internal and external users.

Storylane Qualifying Leads and Automating SE Processes

What do you like best about the product?
Onboarding Storylane was great. Our onboarding team was quick to respond and very helpful in tailoring the tool to our use cases. We have used a few other demo automation tools and Storylane has been very easy to use. We like the still image or HTML options that help us tailor the demos for our customers. It's been a great tool for higher funnel leads and partners to get a teaser of our solution rather than our lean SE team having to hop on a bunch of demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would point out is that the drag and drop features are not as fluid as similar tools I've used. It is at times difficult to get a tooltip or text modual to position correctly with the drag and drop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead qualification and SE bandwidth. Storylane is helping our lean SE team by providing an avenue for a prospect, customer, or partner to view our tools without having to hop on a 1 hr demo.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool, while it has a learning curve, is relatively straightforward to use. It's great for someone with no technical/coding background. But the real icing on the cake is their customer support team -- they answer all questions quickly, and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. They'll create loom videos, write out instructions step by step, even hop on a Slack huddle to answer questions and show you how to fix something. We have several nuanced needs for the tool, and they're quick to write custom code or make modifications to the entire product to serve our needs. Has been an excellent on boarding experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a decent learning curve, and it can be hard to learn it without engaging with customer support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We didn't have an anonymous, static demo platform prior -- we used something that reflected our live platform, which changes on a day to day basis as it takes in new data. This made story telling for our sales and customer teams incredibly difficult -- they never knew what kind of stories they'd log into each morning, or even prior to each call. This allows all our teams to have specific stories to tell, each and every time. It gives our team consistency.
