Does what it says on the tin
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane just works and provides great flexibility. Our product is designed in such a way that it is difficult to work with many tools such as this, but with Storylane we have ahd almost no issues.
No issues with implementation or integration, there is nothing to setup.
Customer support have been responsive to any requests for help and guidance.
We make almost daily use of Storylane to help with our demonstrations and support material.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found is the need to learn the intricacies of how Storylane interacts with your product, but that would be true of most platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were having to spend a lot of development time customising our demonstrations
Really Great Product!~ A Must Try.
What do you like best about the product?
super easy to use interface. It has great functions that helps the creator make a magical experience. I found it way easier to use than some of the others out there that are similar. I like the slack integration and I really like the dashboard analytics. Super product!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it might be slow to load up, but I guess we had 60 pages ( slides), we would have a lag in save. But it also could be the location of where we are in Asia.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has given us a way to do a walk-through without having to jump on a Zoom call. It has also given us a way to integrate it into our platform so that any of our users can go to it. Almost like a knowledge base.
Awesome for user onboarding and short demo on website
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use It's quick and easy to create demonstrations of product functionality for the website or to facilitate the onboarding of our users in app. It also allows us to enrich our documentation with mini-tutorials, much simpler than creating videos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, but just a comment: in autoplay mode, if you return to a previous slide, it would be a good idea to pause playback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a solution that was easy for non-developers to use and integrate, to facilitate the onboarding of our users into the application.
In addition to this, we use it to show our application on our website, which gives prospects a better idea of our interface.
We also integrate it into our help database to create mini-tutorials to present case studies and how to resolve user questions.

Storylane is great for quick deployment
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a great tool for rapid deployment of training/demonstration resources. Its easy to use interface gets you up & running quickly, without the need trawl through tons of documentation to get started. I create a lot of video resources & Storylane helps me by streamlining my workflow as well as giving me the flexibility to easily update resources I've created that what I need to do with a video.
What do you dislike about the product?
One issue I have noticed is that if you 'record' screens in a resolution other than that which Storylane recommends, the images can be a little 'soft'. Also, if you're recording a screen action which spawns another tab, Storylane appears to not include that tab as part of the recording & you need to record those screens separately (I'll need to investigate this further as Storylane may have a way to do this but it's not immediate).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem being respolved is spped of production. I can create a Storylane resource in a fraction of the time it takes to create a video of the same process.
Great tool for marketing and demoing of product
What do you like best about the product?
We use Storylane both on our website but also in our email mesaging to prospects. Storylane has given us that ability to give prospects a sneak peak into the tool before our full length demonstrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we had a bit more flexibility in how we format and embedd these Storylane snippets into our emails and outreach. I will say I am not an administrator of Storylane, simply an end user on our sales team so its very possible that its just how we've set up our account rather than it being an issue with Storylane specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane has helped us expose our product sooner and easier than in we were able to previously. Before we had to just jump in a zoom room and record a quick high level demo, but now Storylane allows us to provide those to our prospects easier and more effectively.
Best way to record a quick walkthrough
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's as easy to use as a screenshot application: click to take the pics, review the material and add guides, wrap up and share!

I don't really dislike anything, it works and that's what matters, and I'm sure the product will only get better over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It used to take hours to record and process a demo of our newly released platform.
With Storylane I just make a few clicks, those turn into screenshots that are easy to review and include helpful information to, and then you can just share the entire demo.

In the industry that we are in story lane helps us to get across to our customers all they need to know in a way that they will now be self servered

Nothing so far at the moment. It works perfectly for the company and for me as a user

It is helping to solve the issue of constantly being on the phone and walking a customer through a demonstration

What do you like best about the product?
I contacted the support team to ask them to merge some of my projects, and they were very helpful. Their prompt and efficient assistance made the process seamless. Highly appreciate their support!

Storylane solves the problem of creating engaging, interactive demos with ease. This benefits me by saving time and effort in demo creation while allowing for high levels of customization. The ability to tailor colors and appearance ensures that my demos look professional and visually appealing, enhancing the overall presentation quality. Additionally, the responsive and helpful support team has been invaluable in managing and merging projects seamlessly, further improving my workflow and productivity.
Highly Customizable and Easy-to-Use Demo Creation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it incredibly easy to create demos. Its high level of customization ensures that the colors and appearance can be tailored to achieve stunning results. Highly recommended!

However, it is a bit on the expensive side.

We needed a demo to explain the admin platform in the sales process. It really helped us.
Extreme value in my sales process
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can send a demo to a client after doing a live demo with them so they can review what they saw on their own time, share it with colleagues and I get to track engagement with it. It is really easy to use and I feel well supported by the team at Storylane.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't really think of anything I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the time it takes for me to do a demo, helps train me on our own product as well because our product management updates it on a regular basis with the latest features of our solution that we demo.
