Great Tool to get started on product demos
What do you like best about the product?
I had a breeze creating a demo—it was up and running in under 20 minutes! The usage tracking dashboards were really slick and easy to navigate. It was awesome that the team quickly added more voices when we mentioned the limited options.
What do you dislike about the product?
One suggestion for improvement: the rephrase/generate content feature could be even better with prompts or settings to adjust language tone and brevity. Sometimes I had to tweak content using other tools before bringing it back here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Takes away dependancies on Product and Product Marketing to always create demos. Sales can now create demos

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to get started. Free tier makes it easy to test out. First paid tier is reasonably priced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like better options (and/or more flexibility) to capture leads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an extremely technical audience for our product who don't want to talk to Sales unless they're ready to purchase. We are using it to create demo expeirences that help users try the tools first.
Great for onboarding and quick demos
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has saved our team a lot of time in being able to send quick demos to customers of new features. Rather than having to get on formal meetings, or try to do screen recordings with voice overs, we are now able to quickly share highlights of products and explain how to use them in an efficient manner. We've had a high success rate with customers actually going through the Storylane too, as it is very easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of for now in the way that we need it for. It's been great for sending short demos to customers although I haven't needed many of the advanced features yet.

Storylane saves our team time in being able to send product demos and assist with onboarding.
Insanely easy to build complex demos
What do you like best about the product?
I was first tasked with creating a demos, i thought it would take me ages, I couldn't believe how easy it was to create a very complex demo.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes doesn't capture small menus, or hovers, requires some manual intervention.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building complex demos to make customer service more independent and interactive.
Storylane lives up to its name
What do you like best about the product?
Once you get the hang of it (which is pretty quick), you can easily and quickly create demos that are better than a demo! We love the journeys and the ability to talk about our product experience from the perspective of the User, their manager, HR or an executive. For a B2B product this is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
We included sample reports in the demo and the system requires us to scroll through the report. So it makes the product feel more complex. The reports are downloaded as .pdfs to share. We can work around this with a screen shot but an HTML captures doesn't work for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Produgie platform is complex with many features and functionality. Storylane journeys makes it possible to paint a picture of the experience and benefits for different types of Users. My team is small and Storylane is easy enough for anyone to pick up and use it with a good briefing.
Useful tool for interactive demos
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive UI and easy to create/edit/customize interactive demos which can drive increased conversion

Not quite as sleek as some competitor products, less hands-on support

It's really simple and intuitive to use - anyone on the team can create demos - not just the marketing team

Nothing at the moment! You may just need a few practices of creating demos

I don't dislike anything, I managed to create a demonstration quickly.

It saves me time in not having to do quick taster demonstrations, the clients can clearly see how to use the product and the benefits.
Easy to use and brings our product to life
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is really easy to use and has really brought our product to life since we started using it. It's a really easy way to give a slick product tour, without having to put in too much time or effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a little easier to embed into things like websites and email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us to showcase really new products before they're available to be directly tested by users - allowing them to experience the product while it's still in beta.

Maybe if I were really nitpicking, a few more pre-built templates for beginners wouldn't hurt.
