Very time efficient program for demos and tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
I like the AI tools that animate the progress of me just running a screen recording
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there could be more design and layout options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me animate and make interactive demo's instead of animated videos that take hours to make and are not interactive.
Great tool to creat help tutorial
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes the creation of help material for our SaaS users very fast and it comes with many customization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would prefer to include the tutorials in our app but the price package to do so is far way higher than the starter package we are using currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Storylane to creat help videos for our Saas application. It is a super fast way to explain new features - their setup and their function. Compared to our previous full text + screenshot version we're saving a lot of time, the pages look better and less overwhelming and the users can faster screen the provided information.
A tool that marketers have been waiting for
What do you like best about the product?
As a marketer in tech I often experienced the struggle to get good demos for marketing purposes, because it's hardly a priority for engineers. Storylane bridges a huge gap. It's extremely easy to implement and use and makes it easy to create an actual storytelling based on all the different features your product has.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any downsides. Probably keeping it up to date, but that's only with the screenshot version.

Making easy fast demos for Marketing purposes
A Must-Have Tool for Product Marketers & Revenue Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Making product demos look great - ability to offer clients intuitive and tailored walkthroughs of new and upcoming features. From leveraging feature demos in GTM to ease-of-use at conferences and demand gen applications across various channels, I love how quickly these can be designed and deployed across teams and for a multitude of purposes.
The ability to craft interactive demos from Figma is also a huge value add for VOC gathering and product validation before committing to development. I’d imagine you can save countless hours on prototyping in the pre-beta stage, saving time and resources for product teams while being able to rapidly go out to market and validate your hypothesis around a feature with potential buyers.
Also, great AI features - like their AI translation tool, text-to-voice and avatar for user walkthroughs.

Their in-platform analytics have improved, but could be more intuitive to help with ROI tracking. Also, it would be great to have all demos optimized for mobile/iPads.

Good program for product demo

It's easy to use, and after searching for some time, we found this to be the best option available.

Easy to use with the best AI voiceovers
What do you like best about the product?
I tried several product demo /tour platforms when building out a group of demos. Storylane's stand out primarily because the AI voiceovers actually sound human. I also like that I have the option of uploading my own voice over and uploading my own product screenshots/videos instead of only relying on the images captured by the Chrome plug-in. I can get a demo done quickly for fast product launches.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only critique is that it requires a higher payment plan in order to access the integrated Hubspot forms and Linkedin tracking features. It was a big jump in price and the traffic to the demo didn't justify the investment, but maybe with increased traffic at some later point, it will.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Storylane, I find it very easy to demonstrate new product features through micro-tours rather than just describing them. The process is straightforward, whether I'm reaching out to a potential customer or engaging with an existing user.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. A very helpful customer support team was on hand to onboard us and guide us through the development of our first few demos. The inclusion of AI features helped accelerate the deployment of voiceovers in the demos.

Had a bit of trouble integrating Storylane demos into our G2 profile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proving guided tours of our platform
Interactive demos that work!
What do you like best about the product?
Demos play a crucial role in the conversion process, and having the ability to create high-quality, interactive experiences without needing a developer's assistance has allowed us to align marketing, product marketing, and sales enablement more quickly and effectively. I also appreciate the browser extension, which makes it easy to capture the product tour as I click through.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations when it comes to creating a demo on Storylane. We've encountered some issues with the guides; for instance, it appears that certain formatting changes occur even when you request the formatting to remain consistent throughout the demo. While I do appreciate the inclusion of the lead form, I wish it offered the option to send leads via email or provide some form of notification when a new lead is available. Currently, you have to log into Storylane, navigate to the demo, and locate leads in the reporting section, which is less convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, our demos consisted of lengthy PowerPoint presentations, which often took considerable time to go through. The process also required us to first generate interest, then schedule a demo call, and finally spend additional time meeting with each person. With Storylane, we've been able to create self-guided demos that we can easily send to prospective clients via email. Additionally, we've used it to develop training demos, enabling our current clients to learn independently rather than relying on one-on-one training sessions.
Effective Sales Enablement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how thoughtful the Storylane features are. For instance, working with a new software product I've needed to update my demos multiple times each quarter. Every time I republish, the link stays the same - ensuring everyone has the most up to date demo and each republish isn't creating more work for myself or my team. It's super easy to use, the customer support at Storylane is incredible, and our use of Storylane has expanded to other departments - which makes serving our customers a more unified experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way for my demos to communicate together - If a screenshotted interface is updated on one demo, I'd like it to update all my demos. Little changes like that can amount to hours of work when updating things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is helping us demonstrate a new, evolving product (software) in real time. It's showing customers what our product can do, before even meeting with our sales team. It's saving everyone time.
Quick and Professional Demos in a fraction of the time!
What do you like best about the product?
It's smart. Having the options to quickly add voice overs or take video clips makes creating these and telling a good story really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s very little to criticize. The knowledge base is excellent and easy to search. Occasionally, it generates more slides than I actually need, but I’d much rather have extra slides to delete than find myself missing important ones during creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create brand new demos to showcase the latest features and functionalities as they are released in our product. Additionally, I develop how-to demos for our internal knowledge base. This approach is helping to strengthen retention and drive SALES!
