Effortless Interactive Demos with Helpful AI, Minor Editing Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can effortlessly make interactive demos with the help of the AI to write the prompts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes editing or combining the Storylane gets a bit difficult but that is not mostly the case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps alleviate constant questions about how to use our companies platform which then gives me and my coworkers more time to focus on other tasks.

Easy to use, affordable starting options
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing jumps from 1 seat to 5 seats, which is a big jump for a startup

A means for potential customers to demo our product interactively
Fast, Easy Video Creation—Needs More Callout Options
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is easy to use, and making videos is much faster than doing a recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Storylane had more call outs on the slides. I want to highlight multiple sections on the screen at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save time using Storlylane to create videos, and making edits is extremely easy as the URL doesn't change. Set the URL and forget it!
Empowers Interactive Demos—Success Depends on Your Narrative
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create walk throughs both for customers to have their own interactive demos, and for sales enablement to share best practice and use of sales tools including CRM.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's as good or bad as the narrative behind the demo you create. If it is click heavy and doesn't explain the business benefit to the customer, they will not find it as resonant. That isn't a criticism of the product, it's a tip to get the most out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Producing a library of self serve demonstrations to allow presales to focus on later stage engagement.
Storylane Saves Time by Replacing Repetitive Live Demos
What do you like best about the product?
Using Storylane has saved me a significant amount of time, as I no longer have to conduct a live demo for every client, especially in cases where such detailed attention isn't really necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, I don't have any specific complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main challenge I faced was having to repeat the same demo for multiple clients who only needed a standard overview, which took up valuable time that could have been spent on other tasks. Storylane helped me address this problem by allowing me to provide clients with engaging insights they can revisit whenever they need.
Flexible Tool for Both Docs and Demos—Super Efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's flexible enough to use both for internal documentation and for creating external marketing pages. It allows me to build interactive, polished demos without switching tools, which makes it super efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that I have to recapture the flow whenever details in our SaaS product change. It would be great if there were a way to update only the affected steps or sync changes automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
work in a vertical expert software company, and Storylane helps me scale education for our forward-deployed engineers. It makes onboarding into functions more engaging and interactive, allowing new team members to learn by doing rather than just reading documentation.
Storylane Streamlines Demos with Stellar Support, Needs Better AI Voiceover Control
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane allows us to create guided environments we can author for a variety of different marketing and messaging needs. Alleviates the need for our team to do repetitive work as followups to calls. I actually had a support request about a feature, and within 24 hours they took it upon themselves to "fix" my issue from the product standpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more granular control over the AI created voiceovers. But they offered me workarounds for the time being. But I would love to see more precise control over AI narration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating self paced curriculum content for our product. Storylane allows us to import screenshots of our curriculum, create a guided experience for users, and move them through multiple hours of content. This allows us to increase our product adoption and have more informed users.

What do you like best about the product?
Storyline is an incredibly intuitive and user-friendly tool that makes it easy to build and share interactive demos or product stories. What I like most is how effortless it is to use. Within minutes, we can create guided experiences that showcase our product in action. For us, it adds real value by allowing us to visually present our customer dashboard in a way that’s both engaging and self-explanatory.

It's very easy to use, I could get everything setup without needing any guidance.

There isn't anything that I've seen that I haven't enjoyed yet.

Storylane has allowed me to create simple and quick demos to walk my customers through features with ease. It shows them how to do things quickly without having to take up time in meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to show a quick demo of the solution, along with guiding the client through the storylane demo providing context around what they are seeing/clicking on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if this is downside to Storylane but better data to show clients that might be relevant to what they are looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving not having to do simple demos for clients when they have a specific need or use case. Along with being able to share a product demo that a client is interested in while we wait to schedule the actual demo
