What do you like best about the product?
It allows my customers to get an initial look at our solutions, helping to spark their interest even before they see a full product demonstration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t discovered anything I dislike about Storylane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows me to highlight the main benefits of a product in a technical manner before customers have the opportunity to view a full demonstration. This approach ensures that customers are not left uncertain before they engage with our security engineers.
Effortless Demo Creation with Game-Changing AI Voice, Could use more dashboard organization tools
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use creating demos and guides. Also the AI voice over is a game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organization of the story lanes and folders need to be refined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training customers on how to use our software with guided click throughs.
Super Simple for Marketers, But Pricing Tiers Need Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly simplistic to use, which as a marketer I appreciate greatly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more pricing tiers, there is a massive jump between starter and growth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to show as in depth a demo as we want without having to engage sales. We prefer the ungated method, and so it's a super low-barrier way for prospects to poke around.
Storylane Made Our Demos Feel Like Magic
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Helps save hours of editing and script writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only downside is the play feature that can’t be paused

Storylane has made it incredibly simple to create clear, engaging how-to videos for our customers and streamline onboarding for new team members.
Storylane Makes Customer Training Effortless and Engaging
What do you like best about the product?
As someone who has to regularly train my customers on our product, storylane has been really useful to provide them with quick and easy to follow walkthroughs allowing them to digest in their own time and at their own pace. Other features like being able to blur parts of the page and adding a call to action are also really useful. I love the product and so do my customers!

There's not much to dislike - we've had nothing but praise from those who have used it

Our product can be complex and while we have a knowledge base with documents on how to use it, the visual representation that storylane gives us means that the walkthroughs land really well when clients are unsure or confused
Effortless Walkthrough Creation, But AI Voiceover Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is so easy to use. I can create and update product walkthroughs quickly, and they are having a huge impact and receiving rave reviews from our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the AI-generated voiceover sounded more natural and that I could apply to a whole walkthrough rather than one screen at a time.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to create guided and sandbox demos with Storylane. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, and I appreciate that it captures HTML elements directly, which makes the demos look authentic and flexible. The ability to edit HTML manually is a huge plus, allowing for customization when needed. I've used it for all of our products and its setup is pretty quick and easy. Overall, it’s a very convenient and efficient tool for building product demos without requiring deep technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
The HTML editing feature can occasionally be glitchy, and the AI HTML edit tool needs very clear and specific instructions — it often struggles with complex edits. The autosave function is helpful but can miss quick changes if you move through screens too fast, so it’s worth pausing to ensure updates are saved. Also, when building sandbox demos, it doesn’t always capture dynamic or real-time features like drag-and-drop interactions or live feeds, which sometimes requires creative workarounds.

Storylane helps us create interactive, self-guided demos that showcase our products in a clean, professional way without requiring complex setup or engineering resources. It has streamlined our demo creation process, allowing us to quickly build, edit, and share experiences for both internal training and external presentations. This saves time, improves consistency across demos, and makes it easier to maintain updated content as our products evolve.
Transforms Demo Creation for Marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane turned one of the most tedious parts of my job (recording live demos) into something I genuinely look forward to doing. It's scaled my impact as a product marketer by allowing me to record more (and better) demos more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a steeper learning curve than some alternatives - like simple screen recording apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to create externally shareable demos for sales frequently - pretty much every time we ship a new product or feature. Storylane makes it easy to create demos, fast. It also helps me create better, more professional demos.
Makes product demos look great with almost no effort
What do you like best about the product?
As a product marketer, I love that I can build beautiful, guided demos without depending on design or engineering. I just drop in my brand colors and fonts once, and Storylane applies them across the whole demo so everything feels consistent and polished. It makes it easy to create something that looks professional while staying fast and flexible for launches or campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I wish I could edit parts of a screen to hide or remove certain details. It would be great to have a bit more control over what shows up in the capture without needing to redo the whole step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for an agency, and a lot of our clients want demos built fast using their actual product. Doing a demo video can look nice, but it’s painful to update. One small UI change and you have to redo everything. With Storylane, it takes a few minutes to fix things. You can just swap a screen and keep everything else as is. It saves so much time and makes it easy to keep demos fresh without extra production work.
Best way to quickly deploy tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to set up and create the tutorial. also the link share is easy to ship to customers
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the ease to deploy the url and share quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to send tutorials to managers, but we realized it is much easier to send the exact issue directly to the end customers without wasting time. Additionally, we can track the analytics and see if the tutorial was watched.
