A great tool to show the product demos!
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has changed the way we show demos to our customers. At first, we were sharing videos of the demos, but Storylane made it really easy and intuitive for our users to explore our product. We have been using Storylane demos on multiple landing pages, and the integration is really easy and intuitive as well.
Their customer support was also very good, as we took their help in the initial days.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think in terms of customisation, there are some limitations. Also, if you are not using it very actively and don't have multiple demos, then the cost can feel on the higher side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us automate the product demos and showcase our platform’s features without needing tech effort or live walkthroughs. It’s solving the challenge of engaging users early in the funnel by letting them interact with our tools right on the landing page. This improves user experience, reduces friction in product education, and shortens the conversion cycle.
Making demos for clients has never been so easy
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and quick it is to setup a demo from start to finish and how it can record your screen and automatically create most of the demo for you. We've been using this frequently to demo many features of our website builds to clients. From start to finish it's been very easy to implement and integrate with our existing work flows. Customer support has also been top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see it push more about setting up web support demos for clients rather than lead generation. You can do it and it works great but tends to lean more on using it for lead generation. Would also love to see a way to transfer demos to a different storylane account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We frequently needs to demonstrate how to use various features in our website builds and this used to require a lot of manual written documentation. With Storylane, it's solves this and makes it much easier for our clients to understand.
Best product for Demo tutorials so far
What do you like best about the product?
Very Nice and Accurate product. Makes it simple for our clients to under services in a visual manner. Highly Recommended
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now! They have all the essentials features.

Easy, well done, and beautiful
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is exactly the tool I was looking for: it has a visually pleasing interface, is relatively intuitive, and fulfills its purpose in a straightforward and efficient manner, without unnecessary complications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I, as a developer, find Storylane relatively easy to use, I understand that this will not be everyone's experience, especially when dealing with demos in HTML. The tool does not require deep technical knowledge, but there is an initial learning curve, with some concepts that the user needs to understand before starting to produce. The good news is that there are many tutorials available, which makes the process more accessible and greatly reduces the chance of someone giving up due to lack of support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane has helped me create interactive and customized demos much faster and more scalable than would be possible with manual development. This has significantly reduced the time spent between the conception and delivery of a functional demonstration for prospects or clients. Additionally, it has made it possible for non-technical teams to participate in the creation process, which speeds up collaboration between marketing, sales, and product. The result is more efficient communication of our product's value, with less friction and more engagement from users.
Storylane helps me "Story tell"
What do you like best about the product?
I work in sales, and I really like to showcase my clients what I am talking about, instead of pitching features over an email, so, I have started sharing my demo build of certain products over email, which has given me an incentive to have good conversations, so, I like the fact that storylane lets me do that. The UI/ UX is super easy to get a hang of, that I was able to kickstart with the tool from Day 1.
What do you dislike about the product?
I pretty am very content with Storylane, but, If I have to say if there is any one thing that could be better, I'd say, if there is an option to import pre recorded background music or pre recorded voice overs, that would be a nice add on. Again, this is a desired feature and not a must have feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves for me by making sure that I get to showcase the product or the tool to my end user who is a customer of mine in a very simple way, it saves me a lot of time, and helps me reach out to a wider audience with just sharing my demo builds.
Great easy way to put your product in the spotlight!
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane gives you the tools to quickly build an interactive demo, that you can use in many different ways. For example to let a prospect 'test' the product, without any logins or accounts. The software gives you many design options, has proper how-to's on integrating / implementing the demos on your website, and has a clear analytics section where you can follow the interactions with the demo.
The interface works quick and and is easy to understand.
Extra bonuspoints for the option to immediately create custom brand designs for your demos. This saves so much time!
In short; would highly recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although you get some lead info (like the company name, size and # of employees), I'm not fully confident that information is completely reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can show our software interface (in general and specific features) to our visitors, without asking for personal information. This way it's a customer friendly way to make visitors more familiar with our software.
Very easy creation of click-through demos
What do you like best about the product?
The browser extension and recording functionality with customisation options. Implementation was super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually not much, if I have to note something it would be that it could be great to be able to make more different kinds of edits to screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Showing the value that our platform provides to prospective customers in a way that is immersive and convincing.
Easy to understand the tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can upload screenshots or videos for my product demo
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure of the dislikes for now as it served my requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With a simple URL embedded in our product, it is easier for users to follow the product demo.
Great tool for bootstraped product
What do you like best about the product?
I used Storylane to build an onboarding scenario for my product. The platform’s really intuitive! I didn’t have to spend much time learning how things work. I especially appreciate the AI features: they helped me describe my product much faster and more effectively. Overall, a smooth and helpful experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of limitations. At the moment, we could’t capture anything outside the browser, which is a bit of a blocker as our product has browser extension funcitonaly that is available on other websites and in popups. Also, recording across multiple browser tabs isn’t supported yet - having that would really level up the experience for more complex flows. Hoping these features are on the roadmap.

1. Reduced Engineering Costs for Onboarding (by ~60%)
Before Storylane, building onboarding flows required front-end development time — typically 1–2 weeks of engineering effort per flow (including multiple bugfixing activities and working out edge cases). With Storylane, our product team can create and update interactive flows themselves in under a day. This has reduced our onboarding-related engineering workload by over 60%, freeing up devs to focus on core features.
2. Faster Launch of New Flows and Features (cut lead time from 2 weeks to 2-3 days)
Whenever we release a new feature, we now build a live, interactive walkthrough in Storylane within 1 day (+ some time fore review) — previously this took a full sprint. That speed helps our users discover and adopt new functionality as soon as it’s released.
3. Marketing-Ready Demos That Fit Campaign Timelines
Our marketing team uses Storylane to create product tours tailored to each campaign — without needing help from designers or devs. We’ve embedded custom flows into 3 platform landing pages and 2 email sequences so far, and they’ve shown a 25–40% increase in engagement compared to static screenshots or video alone.

Excellent demo platform for click through demos
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use platform and really like how it generates the steps automatically for you with excellent abilities to edit to suggestions and fine tune your demo content
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is that it's tricky to capture audio as part of the demo content
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed us to create simple demos for our partners to use which show how you can use our platform
