What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been a fantastic tool for creating interactive demos across multiple use cases for us, including internal trainings, events, our website, and also for our Sales and PSE teams. The demos we host on our website are helping us engage prospects far more effectively than static content.

What really stands out is the speed at which the Storylane team ships new features. It is genuinely impressive.

Features like AI voiceover, the ability to download demos as videos, password-protected demos, custom links, and deep customization options for HTML-based demos have made the platform incredibly versatile and powerful for marketing, sales, and enablement teams.

The platform is very easy to use, and their customer support team is highly responsive and helpful, even with the smallest queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little so far. The product is evolving rapidly, and sometimes it takes time to fully explore and adopt all the new features, which is a reasonable trade-off for the pace of innovation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us create engaging, interactive product experiences without heavy dependence on engineering or video production teams. It has improved how we train internal teams, enable Sales and PSE teams, run demos at events, and capture leads on our website. Overall, it helps us move faster, tell better product stories, and drive more meaningful engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is very intuitive and easy to use, with a clean and interactive GUI that makes building demos quick and straightforward. It offers a wide range of options and flexible ways to create interactive demos, from guided walkthroughs to more open-ended experiences. Despite the flexibility, the platform stays simple and never feels overwhelming. Overall, it’s a great tool for creating engaging product demos efficiently.

I wish they had more options for guides.

Storylane helps us easily create interactive product demos that clearly showcase the value of our Avalara products without requiring live walkthroughs every time. It allows us to present complex workflows in a simple, engaging way, making it easier for prospects and customers to understand how the product solves their problems. Because the demos are interactive and not just static videos or slides, users stay engaged and don’t get bored, which has been especially valuable for marketing, sales, and product education.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it incredibly fast to go from idea to a polished, shareable demo, so it actually gets used in day‑to‑day work instead of living on a wishlist. The editor is intuitive, the Chrome capture is reliable, and the combo of chapters, hotspots, and lead capture lets me tailor demos for different audiences without rebuilding from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics are helpful, but it would be even better to have more flexible dashboard organization and reporting out of the box. Visual customization is generally strong, though there are moments where more granular control over layout and branding options would help advanced users. Pricing feels fair for how much value it drives, but smaller teams should be aware that some of the more advanced capabilities sit on higher‑tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane replaces one‑off live demos and static screenshots with reusable, interactive walkthroughs that prospects and internal stakeholders can explore on their own time. It shortens the time needed to create new demos, improves consistency in how the product story is told, and gives engagement data that helps refine both product messaging and sales follow‑up.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has become instrumental in our pitching process. As a global company, it enables us to create top notch demos that are super easy to run, even when the product expert and the client are in completely different locales. It also saves us a tremendous amount of work in maintaining dedicated demo environments, allowing us to invest those engineering resources in the product itself.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major complaints! There's a bit of a learning curve, like any tool, but once you're familiar with it it's very easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps us spin up powerful, custom demos using the prospect's own look and feel, without needing to do custom development. It enables our sales team to deliver more compelling pitches while freeing up our EPD teams to spend more time on the core product.

Empowers Customers with Interactive, Self-Guided Demos

What do you like best about the product?
I use it to assist customers in implementing their products on their own. While customers have the option to watch explainer videos, this tool is far more interactive. Most importantly, it eliminates the need for a person to guide them through the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extracting slides from one demo to another becomes challenging when they are stored in separate folders, so addressing this issue would be very helpful. Additionally, adjusting the backdrop can sometimes be tricky, making it difficult to position the content exactly where it needs to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I mentioned before, this tool helps me to help the customer how they can implement the product on their own.

Effortless Demo Creation Made Simple

What do you like best about the product?
Extremely simple and effective way to create a demo. I'm using the starter version of the app and the whole workflow with screenshots is very intuitive. Set up was easy and we get a lot of traffic on our demo, which is really nice. We've also used it as an internal tool to showcase a new feature which really helped our sales team.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like is the lead capture form in the starter version. It only includes Name and Email as available fields - i understand that custom form integration is part of the next price tier, but at least adding some sort of free message field would help qualifying the leads somewhat. without it, lead capture is pretty much useless.

The next price tier is a 12,5 price increase, so that is not feasible for small companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex SaaS product that sometimes customers to not fully understand what it is doing. Having the demo really helps with communicating our USPs

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Storylane is how easy it is to create interactive product demos without needing any technical skills. The interface is intuitive, the editing tools are flexible, and it lets me build polished, guided experiences very quickly. It’s also great for enabling prospects to explore the product on their own, which helps improve engagement and conversion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about Storylane. If anything, just a few small usability details could be improved, but overall the experience is very smooth

Storylane helps streamline and automate onboarding workflows, which saves me a significant amount of time. Instead of creating manual walkthroughs or repetitive demos, I can provide interactive guides that make the onboarding process faster and more efficient for both me and the users.

What do you like best about the product?
What stood out for me was the remarkable ease of use in creating demos. Furthermore, the game-changing functionality of having the demos automatically generated in all languages, coupled with the inclusion of auto-generated audio, significantly enhances our efficiency and reach.
What do you dislike about the product?
The auto-read function is too slow. I'd like the option to increase its speed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me the ability to create demos for clients and therefore reuse them multiple times, both in-person and remotely by simply sending a link. This allows me to perform many more demonstrations and avoid disruptions.
