Very good tool, fluid and easy to handle
What do you like best about the product?
- Easy-to-use tool.
- Smooth tool with easy customization of demos.
- Exporting and sharing demos is easy.
- Create and update a demo quickly, easily, and intuitively.
- The demos created are pleasant for users to use, giving the impression of practicing because the demo is interactive rather than just being a spectator.

What do you dislike about the product?
- It is unfortunate that some customization elements are not available in the templates (for example, the color of the steps at the bottom of a demo can only be changed from the demo itself, so you always have to remember to make sure the color matches my company's branding).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane allows me to easily and quickly create demos for the knowledge base I am building on my tool. My clients and prospects can intuitively see each feature of my software through the demos. It's more enjoyable than a presentation video and takes less time for me to create.

What do you dislike about the product?
As with any SaaS tool like this, the tiered pricing and gated content is a little frustrating. But you can do a lot on the more basic packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex product that, because of our industry and the competitiveness, needs to be 'hidden' this allows us to give a very controlled platform walk through without showing off sensitive areas/information
User friendly and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use and really makes it simpler to create a product demo, especially for those who prefer not to use their own voice. I also appreciate the consistency it brings across all the product demos, which is a valuable feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that I dislike about it.

Powerful storytelling tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Storylane is how simple and quick it is to produce attractive, interactive content. The customization features are robust, allowing for seamless integration of branding in a professional manner. The support team is excellent as well—they are highly responsive, which is a great help!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the demos could benefit from optimization to improve their loading times, but this currently requires manual intervention from the Storylane team, which is an area that could be improved. I also appreciate that gifs are already pre-created for use in emails. It would be even better if there were options to add an intro clip to the gif or make slight modifications, as sometimes the gifs don't work as expected.

Demonstrating new features to existing customers and highlighting advanced functionalities for upselling purposes.
An essential tool for demoing nuanced workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is incredibly helpful for demoing nuanced workflows in a product demo. Especially for workflows that are hard to set up and replicate in a sandbox environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Memorizing click paths and talk tracks in tandem with click tracks can be cumbersome and time consuming. And depending on the set up of the path, you can hit dead ends mid demo.

Demoing nuanced workflows in a product demo
Built beautiful simple step throughs for our website
What do you like best about the product?
The initial set up is falling-off-a-log easy. And there is a rich feature set in the lowest paid tier. I've created three different step throughs for our app. Their initial set up using the Chrome extension was super easy. And the built in formatting looked clean, professional, and pleasing. My teammates were super excited about the outcome and we've been getting lots of click throughs from the embedded demos in the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Version control could be improved. I have way too many duplicate screenshots that I can't figure out how to manage. We also don't get a TON of lead capturing via Storylane, but that might be a side effect of our customer type/website/the quality of my demo. I really appreciate the analytics that are available, but haven't yet figured out how to filter down to just lead captures quickly. I'd love it if I could get an email every time a lead is captured rather than going back in to check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explaining to users what our product is when they visit our website. Allowing us to balance explaining platform mechanisms with our value prop in demos.
Amazing, Intuitive Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is a fantastic tool for creating platform walkthroughs and instructional videos. It's incredibly intuitive and the end result is refined and professional. I also use for targeted sales demos to guide the audience focus to certain aspects I an demonstrating. For the money, it would be hard to find something more cost-effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'd like better control of is adding recording of new slides to an existing project. It's a little difficult at the moment.

It helps me showcase the value prop of our solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and intuitive it is to create demos. The analytics are pretty nice too, where you can see at which stage the viewer is most engaged. Customer support is very helpful and responds quickly.

Not much, maybe that it wasn‘t super great on mobile.

Showcasing more of our product and increasing engagement. It also helps to qualify leads and leads are more educated when they go into sales calls.
Very easy initial set-up and user friendly 'plug-and-play' and editing within projects

Storylane is user-friendly and provides quality results, offering intuitive editing options that make it easier to navigate and explain your website. This helps employees implement changes more efficiently and allows customers to interact with the site more smoothly. Setting up is quick, from creating an account to installing the plug-in, so you can begin working on your project within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that when you pause a screen recording while setting up your project, it can sometimes capture too many screens or miss the ones you actually want. This makes editing more challenging, as you have to sift through multiple screens to find the right one, or you might end up needing to rerecord or go back and take specific screenshots.

It allows us to offer a quick and intuitive walkthrough of our platform, making it easier for new clients to engage with what we offer.
