Great model results with a low amount of effort

The platform can be a little buggy sometimes, but I know that they are in the midst of upgrading it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Discovering fake orders, indicating malicious user activity.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of working with the team at Pecan and the ease of creating and implementing models within projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing actually - everything is perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems being solved: Churn, Retention, GMV Forecasting, Revenue Forecasting, Deposit Forecasting, CM1 Forecasting, Growth Models, Regression and Classification models. Benefits: Creating projects on the fly and faster to be integrated with models being built at breakneck speed which would not be possible without Pecan.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no text in an unknown language to translate.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and the easy way you can simply load data to the platform and generate ML based prediction without needing a data scientist - especially with the talents war we all experience now-days.

As a data scientist we are not exposure to all the algo behind.
Error handling could be improved - this is overcome today together with their customer success team.

From idea to POC in incredible time
What do you like best about the product?
The time from the STM to a functioning POC was quite incredible. What would've probably taken us months was done in weeks. Additionally, they assigned a team of dedicated professionals to help beyond the original SOW.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. It was a great experience end-to-end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to prove to stakeholders that it is possible to identify patterns in world trade and use messy-data to predict trading partners and volume of trade. Pecan has helped us prove that including and what measure of success we can expect given different data sources and volume.

What do you like best about the product?
With no data preparation, engineering, or preprocessing, Pecan connects directly to various data sources, unifies and standardizes the data, and allows for quick and automated deployment of predictive models. Using machine learning and neural networks, Pecan automates the entire predictive process to decipher patterns in the data and prioritize relevant insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. Pecan is a growing early starge company but it is backed by enterpise SW companies like SAP that allow global expansion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the most common predictions that Pecan can make relate to price optimization, customer collection, supply chain optimization, procurement optimization, churn prediction, customer activity volume, and customer worth over time. With accurate predictions, companies using Pecan’s solution know exactly what actions to take to increase revenues, improve retention rates, and realize whatever the business objective at-hand is.

Bottom line - they get the job done, and deliver great results without any fuss.

Their new location is quite uncomfortable to get to.

Churn, NBO and Fraud detection are our main focus points right now. We are looking to expand it later on.

Pecan's platform and architecture serves as a quick platform-to-results solution highly relevant for organizations (SMBs and corporates alike) who are looking for high ROI on their analytical investment. The return is in speed as well as in direct investment. The Pecan team are business oriented and are very knowledgable on the specific practices and analytical outcome point of view

Looking forward seeing a long-term product and a wider array of solutions reaching far and beyond current retail focus. Maybe healthcare in the future?
