What do you like best about the product?
As someone who does not have a data engineering or data science background the guidance provided by the support team helped us to easily set up our first models. We were able to improve our prediction speed and quality as well as gaining valuable insights into our data. The team at Pecan did an amazing job at giving us small improvements that were easy to understand and implement. The AI chat function for the SQL Queries helped us massively. Mainly being able to control the Predictive Question as well as the influencing attributes was a big positive and took away the feeling of having a complete black box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Pecan offered many advantages for our particular use case, it unfortunately still lacks features for detecting data drifts or anomalies, as well as the ability to flag unexpected trends—capabilities that would have been extremely useful for us. Additionally, without the excellent support provided by the Pecan Team, setting up an effective model that truly benefited our daily operations would have been quite challenging, as we had little expertise in ML - Algorithms and models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pecan helped us increase the efficiency of our predictions, and its platform also enabled us to evaluate those predictions much more quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
The product is easy to implement and includes all the tools needed to analyze the model and identify its strengths and weaknesses. The team provides excellent onboarding, and the platform itself helps you move toward your business goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s still some work needed on the data quality side, as the system naturally relies on clean and well-prepared data. But Pecan provides great tools that make this process much easier and more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pecan helped us build a predictive model for the next purchase over a long time horizon. The main benefit is that it expands the number of customers we can re-engage and bring back into the sales funnel.

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up was extremely straightforward, and anyone with a basic understanding of SQL can quickly and easily build accurate forecast models. There is no need for deep expertise in machine learning. The Pecan team proved to be an invaluable resource, consistently going above and beyond to assist us at every stage. They answered all our questions and, even when we requested features outside the current model's scope, they worked diligently to find solutions. Overall, I was able to build multiple models very quickly, and they fit our data exceptionally well.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my experience, the model feels a bit like a black box. However, the team collaborated with us to build a schematic that clarified how the model works and understand our data better.
The error messages are not very informative, so I frequently had to contact the Pecan team for assistance instead of being able to troubleshoot problems independently.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool handles complex modeling tasks quite efficiently, processing a wide variety of data fields and supporting an almost unlimited number of parameters. I found the accuracy to be impressive, even after just a few iterations. Running different scenarios and quickly iterating through various versions is straightforward. It's also very clear which parameters have a significant impact on forecasting accuracy and which are less critical, which is helpful when discussing results with stakeholders. The team has been exceptionally available at all hours and acted as true partners, not only guiding us in using the tool but also engaging thoughtfully with our business and specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still progress to be made when it comes to interpreting results for actions, such as understanding coefficients. We found that manipulating data within the tool using the AI agent was not any easier for us than simply handling it ourselves in SQL.

it helped us iterate quickly to find the parameters which were most important for us as well as validate scenario planning we were doing.

What do you like best about the product?
Pecan makes it very easy for anyone who knows SQL to be able to easily create and productionize predictive models that can drive positive ROI for their business. They also have a team that will help you to be successful in building useful models.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Pecan, but if I have to choose a few things it would be that it's a bit of a black box when it comes to exactly how it's creating the model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pecan has helped us to predict customer lifetime value so we can more quickly see the impact of different interventions. We also have models across a variety of different business use cases.
