What do you like best about the product?
CS is easier to use than other CMS, you can see your changes automatically on the website and you have the oppportunity to use a test enviroment before send your changes to production. Multiples option of integration with other systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have the option to see where will impact my changes on the website. The only option we have is with a title or description, should be good to have a printscreen as option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I´m working in a company with more than 50 website along the globe, and CS is very scalable ans easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Each section when editing is made clear to prevent any mistakes when creating and amending web pages. Hyperlinking a website within text is made easy and references make it clear when amending a page after some time. I use ContentStack for work on a daily basis and am satisfied with its functionality and easy use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative thing I have found is that when creating a new document page it only has the option to add an existing document. You need to save and come out of the new page in order to add a new document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ContentStack is website management we use to maintain all of our digital products and web pages. This helps us keep all of our web pages in one place to save time and manage our Products easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is laid out. The modules are laid out to be very easy to navigate the page.
What do you dislike about the product?
How long it takes to see your edits in real time. It takes almost 15 minutes to see if the edits you made will be good or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to build very unique and good-looking web pages for our main website.

Relatively easy to use once you get use to the stack layout

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use with simple point and click functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the pages are laid out can take some getting use to. Initially it was hard to understand what page and content I was working on because there are multiple pages and content that nest within each other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives non-web technical users the ability to easily create and update web pages. I can create a landing page for a new campaign without much knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Overall a solid CMS

  • July 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have used many CMSs as a website editor, and Contentstack does a great job of offering flexibility while not being too complicated to learn. I use Contentstack every day for multiple different websites and have had to train employees how to use Contentstack. overall it is pretty intuitive. When I do run into problems, the Contentstack support team is friendly and responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, my only problem with the CMS is that there is a lack of contrast between fields while building a page. If I am working on a page while many accordions, it is easy to get lost in the stack if I have too many open at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack solves the problem of needing a CMS that can support complex web design while also being easy to use for content editors.

We have nearly 100 users of Contentstack, from people in Legal to Comms to Digital. It has been easy for people to learn and works great across our ecosystem.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very difficult to export content. There is no simple way to export a list of pages or page types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack makes it easy to update digital content. It makes my job easier as we publish on our websites very frequently. The schedule publish and version history features are especially useful.

Highly customizable and robust headless CMS

  • July 12, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Contentstack is highly customizable and flexible, making it easy to create unique templates without any limitations. The interface is quite intuitive, allowing for a smooth user experience. Its robust search ability and solid system for managing assets streamline content management. Additionally, Contentstack accommodates various workflows effectively and serves as a robust and flexible headless CMS. When it comes to customer support, I haven't had the need to contact them, which I consider a positive thing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing existing content in complex templates, which include numerous blocks, sections, sub-sections, and nested elements, can become cumbersome and confusing. Moreover, the CMS can be rather slow at times, particularly when displaying lists, which affects overall efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contentstack effectively addresses the challenge of managing and organizing large volumes of content.

Supports our needs well

What do you like best about the product?
The "stacks" achitecture works well for the most part - its good to be able to clearly separate app content and assign permissions accordingly to each squad of developers.
Bundling content into a release is extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Content Editors used to a traditional CMS with a hierarchical structure have found it difficult to adjust to how content is organised/displayed in CS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A headless cloud CMS allows us to concentrate on leveraging the best from the content platform without maintaining infrastructure, serving content as we need to and segmenting it into our various app areas whilst also maintaining shared items.
