What do you like best about the product?
Placements.io is a modern revenue management platform for sellers of digital advertising. One shop platform to manage orders, billings, inventory and integrations etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it took several clicks to get somewhere while instead, there should be a button. Yet integrations are not available with many platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Insertion Order Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Its very usefull for creating IO for campaigns and even we can directly push campaign to accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it might have some slow integration with other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes easy campaign shell creation on my advertiser account with pre-set budget, so that we can avoid budget errors.

The onboarding was pretty seamless, and the functionality is pretty self-explanatory.

The search fields aren't ideal and sometimes miss particular products or keywords.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Placements is a clear and organized OMS that allows us to clean up our process and easily communicate with our Billing team.

The dashboards were very customizable and the product team is very receptive to feedback. It feels they are developing a great product that needs a lot of refinement.

The search bar was slow and the overall design is not great. Sometimes it took several clicks to get somewhere while instead there should be a button.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using it to manage and book media campaigns run via Google Ad Manager. Instead of creating the campaign in GAM, we were creating it in Placements and then pushed on GAM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They should analyze how people use the platform and create more shortcuts or implement a better flow. I took too much time to create a campaign.

Some product updates took longer to roll out, but still satisfactory.

A great partner attentive to our requirements

The system is user-friendly. A great support from the team.

The system doesn't yet have some of the features we need, but that's in the roadmap.

During the integration, we had a bug to export all our campaigns but the team worked quickly to fix it.

The product being in constant evolution, it is possible that you will be slowed down according to your expectations but for sure, this product in the long run will be very successful.

- Being able to add rules when contracting is a major asset.
- Being able to manage a product catalog on an excel and import/export it with such simplicity is really valuable compared to what we had before.

Quick integration and a team that listens to you
What do you like best about the product?
We were stuck with the schedule from our old order management service. The Investment team was able to meet our complex needs in record time. We feel we have been well supported from the beginning. They are true business partners rather than mere service providers.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any product, some features are less ergonomic than some previously used.
We remain confident that the product will continue to evolve and we are happy to contribute to it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a big challenge in identifying the source (category) of certain revenues. We were able to go as far as this granularity thanks to the development of the PIO team. Thanks again for the constant support.
A Customer-Oriented OMS Partner
What do you like best about the product?
- Customer feedback drives the product roadmap, as compared to other vendors where you hope that feedback is even considered.
- Good partners across the organization (ALL levels) that take the time to listen, work with your entire team, and ensure you are fully satisfied with the product.
- System is extremely intuitive and can be integrated with other key technologies from pre-sale all the way through billing.

- Still some product features that we'd like to see in place, but all have been added to the roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- We utilize the system primarily for media planning, creating insertion orders and pushing ads to our ad server, and also as our system of record for billing and revenue recognition.
- We've decreased operational costs considerably compared to previous technologies we've used, have a stronger partnership, and are much more able to customize the system to suit our needs.

Great fully-featured replacement for OMS with continual updates
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive and simple UI. It strikes a good balance between being able to support the flexibility needed when configuring Advertisers and Publishers without being convoluted or overly technical. The menus and forms are set out in a clear, logical manner that is easy to understand and follow. Similarly the reporting is basic, but seems to provide the required information with sufficient granularity in the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall solution works well and as expected. We have had a view sync issues during implementation. PIO was always there to help as we worked through some of the more complicated implementation milestones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a replacement for Google's DSM platform and took that as an opportunity to find a fully integrated order to cash platform. Key benefits we have seen are increased sales/ops efficiency and improved reporting.
