Fairly Good Product with Some Small Issues

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is easy to use for the employees. It's very intuitive to submit receipts and coding to the correct accounting codes. It is easy to connect to our accounting system for easy exporting for financial purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Bill pay feature is hit or miss if it's working correctly. The setup can be a little complicated with setting up rules and workflows correctly. It's very hard to get ahold of anyone in support when help is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were doing our corporate card reconciliation on paper before we switched to Ramp. This has made is nearly impossible to not get reciepts and accounting coding in a timely manner. It also gives us more oversight into what purchases are being made in real time.

Ramp simplifies Corporate Cards!!

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many great things about Ramp. I'd say the most helpful is the receipt-capturing capabilities. All you have to do is send a picture of your receipt to a text message or email, and Ramp automatically attaches it to the transaction. I used to have to chase paper receipts, but Ramp's simplicity has helped our employees organize their own receipts, which frees up more of my time. Also, the ability to code the transactions before exporting makes my journal adjustments much more effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I could come up with is that Ramp doesn't yet integrate with our accounting system, so I still have to manually import journal entries to our system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is supporting our compliancy with receipts and policies. As I no longer have to chase everyone's receipts, I have more efficient use of my time. Also coding expenses as they come in has helped speed up the journal entry process. We can also manage and monitor our spending better and quicker.

Simple, intuitive and seamless

What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is so easy to use that I didn't do any of the training and figured out all of the super admin features in about 2 days. Very intuitive, integrates with our other systems (accounting, Slack, etc.), super simple to track expenses and cards, and very scalable. I've issued cards to a bunch of employees and it takes about 60 seconds for each one, and not one person has ever had an issue with the system or a card. I never write software reviews, but I've legitimately recommended Ramp to everybody who has asked about it, and I have encouraged our private equity partner to implement it across their portfolio.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app doesn't allow me to do any admin tasks, such as issue new cards, review transactions, manage the accounting process, etc. It only lets me manage my own expenses, which is frustrating as an admin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 6+ locations across 4 states, and many employees have incidentals day-to-day. Ramp gives us easy, centralized control over issuing charge cards to everybody without the hassle of a traditional credit card system.

Magnificent Tool For Every Business

What do you like best about the product?
The integration system it has, such as pulling receipts automatically from vendors like Amazon, and its easy to navigate interface. Forgot to mention it does all is in dark mode which my eyes appreciate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The feature that forces you to upload a receipt for every transaction. Lost a receipt (was able to find it eventually) and the transaction kept appearing as missing item; my OCD did not like this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our business keep track of our site budget and overall expenditure for regular transactions. It basically eliminates my need to keep an Excel file that keeps track of all this.

Easy employee rollout and adoption!

What do you like best about the product?
Our employees have appreciated the change to Ramp from our previous method of coding expenses in an Excel worksheet and saving receipts to our server. They can easily attach their receipts in the app and code transactions. The GMail and Amazon Business integrations have been game changers, and the ability to sync to our accounting software easily saves us time during our month-end close.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside has been finding enough support documentation on the help page. I think a bit more assistance during the implementation stage (one-on-one) versus a group webinar would be a great benefit.

Unable to use Bill Pay because it's currently Cash accounting and we are Accrual basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces the length of time to code and import card transactions to our accounting software. Employees can now code as they make charges and I can sync to the accounting software as frequently as I like.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of having different cards assigned with budgets and managing teams allowing them to make their purchases on their own.
What do you dislike about the product?
Contactless payment is not accepted everywhere, not at least everywhere in Honduras.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Total purchasing power is on me, of course, responsibly.

Easy to Set up, easy to use, and valuable

What do you like best about the product?
Having the transactions with rules set up to automatically upload with our QB account. Employees are prompted to upload the details of their transactions and reminded by RAMP instead of the accounting office.
What do you dislike about the product?
All seems to be going smoothly, we did try to change an auto uploaded vendor, and the system did not recognize this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency and speed for monitoring transactions

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive desktop and mobile interfaces. Rapid alerts for required receipts or memos.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two-factor log-n with codes sent via text messages does not work when on airplanes, which is when I like to catch up on expense submissions. Offer whatsapp as an option for two-factor login codes, which works with most airlines' wifi providers.

Amazing card and payment platform

What do you like best about the product?
We love using Ramp for the ease of use and ease with which we can track spending and pay bills. We use it to provide cards for our employees, as well as the billpay features which enhance the standard AP process. It's ability to sync directly with QBO is a huge timesaver and enhances our reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few issues with syncing to QBO, including certain vendors and any credits on our cards. There's also a new "feature" in billpay which looks to operate in different currencies, but doesn't pick up dollar signs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to have cards for employees, and Ramp makes that process super simple by offering both physical and virtual cards, with the easy ability to manage employee spending. We also use it for billpay, and it offers both check and ACH payments.
