Great option for our small business!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use and functionality for our small business. Ramp gives the controls needed as well as solving the issues we had with traditional credit card companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is that the texting function does not always work when making multiple purchases in a short period of time. The requirements can get a little jumbled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp has solved our issue with paper receipts. Along with not keeping track of paper receipts, I am able to input all transactions so seamlessly into our accounting software.
Great service for us as a government entity
What do you like best about the product?
I like the online access and the daily email insights on our activity on our account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish when they generated the statement they would give you a couple of days before they automatically collect their payment. As a government entity, we need to have our purchases approved and it would be nice to have a couple of days to make the payment after the statement is generated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a city credit card where we can personalize the card for employees and have the ability to see their expenditures immediately. It is also nice to not have a city credit card that is linked to an individual's social security number.
It is a no brainer to use Ramp for your business.
What do you like best about the product?
I used to use American Express. But Ramp is so much better. Much better control over your expenses and better insights and reports.
And it is easier to delegate cards to your team members and better control expense limits.
I also like the simple cash back feature.

I also like the simple cash back feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to getting used to the user interface but once you get a hang of it, its easy to use.
There are a lot of features that can help you with better cash flow management and save $$$ in certain purchases. It just takes a little time to understand everything that is there to offer.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralize all spend management. Pay vendors via ACH. Exercise better control over the expenses by other colleagues.
Best Expense Management System Out There
What do you like best about the product?
Allows employees to upload receipts directly to RAMP and maps the etnry according to expense accounts we set up. In addition, RAMP is synced directly to SAGE which means no more imports of expense like we did in the past.Ramp has saved us time in hunting down receipts. The employee is now responsible for uploading receipts.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about RAMP but I have not seen any dashboards. It would be nice to see a dashboard module where you can select by expense type to see historical trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem RAMP solved for us is the fact that we don't need to create imports to upload all expenses for the month. If we did not have a receipt, we would have to wait for the employee to provide prior to uploading the impot. With RAMP this is no longer required. I can sync the expenses as we get the receipts.
Track receipts
What do you like best about the product?
Requires my employees to upload their receipt at the time of the purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cashback can only be applied to Ramp credit card balance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Receipts are uploaded to our account at the time of purchase. No more trying to track down employee receipts.
It has been a lot easier and cut down on credit card transaction time greatly.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the instant integration with Intacct. I love that I can see immediately all of the costs and keep my financial system up to date. It's pretty easy to naviagate the menus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like some "if/then" logic. If this field is filled out, then require this other field. ALso, approvers shoudl not be able to approve transactions if the required policy isn't complete. I don't wsant to see the transaction to approve until it's been completed by the employee. Also, I work in construction, and would love Project Managers to review transactions. Again, "if" this project, "then" this employee reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving hours of manual entry and having to chase employees for transactions. It's all really digital and employees are much more likely to complete transactions. The number of transactions with receits has grown exponentially!
Transition was smooth and seamless
What do you like best about the product?
Our customer service representative has been great/responsive to our questions. The transition was very smooth. The end users like the App and ability to load receipts remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to load our bank statements each month as we didn't provide Ramp with the ability to get them on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Obtaining a larger cash back benefit than our old card and getting better compliance on obtaining receipts.
Great product! Easy to use, and great rewards!
What do you like best about the product?
Creating digital cards with spend controls including dollar limits and merchant restictions
What do you dislike about the product?
It would b great if Ramp fully integrated with ADP
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have reimbursements and spend all in one place, with the same interface
Great Product for managing expenses
What do you like best about the product?
Smooth user-interface, real-time data availability and better rewards compared to other products in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer communication can be improved. Prior notice & redressal mechanisms for changes in credit line & services need to be provided
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with cash-flow management as it offers a 30 day credit period. Easy of use at the time of making payments.
Amazing platform that streamlines our corperate spending.
What do you like best about the product?
We average about 400K a month in spending on Ramp. The platform makes the collection of receipts and manager approvals simple and we end the month with >95% of all transactions having all the necessary information to seamlessly push into our accounting platform. Prior to Ramp, we spent 20-25Hr a week tracking down missing receipts and cost codes, combining that with the cashback we get from Ramp we estimate our total cost savings is approximately 95k a year at our current spend levels. The ability to issue virtual cards instantly is also an invaluable feature that lets departments segregate different types of spending on different cards and makes compromised cards replaceable in minutes instead of days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we found to Ramp is the fluctuating credit limit as their primary way to provide a limit is a percentage of cash in linked bank accounts. For VC-funded companies this is probably a great way to establish credit when little credit history exists, however for us as a growing and established company there are some points in the month our free cash gets low and this can instantly trigger your limit being lowered as they monitor your accounts daily. Our account manager is working on establishing a fixed limit so it does sound like they are willing to work with you based on your company's needs. The other difference is on your period close date the current balance is due and debited. You have no ability to plan on the exact amount that will be due other than forecasting what you will be spending in the next few days prior to your close date, also there isn't any float time like with Amex or other corporate card programs so forecasting your cash requirements for the end of your statement period can sometimes be challenging. After 7 months of use, we have adapted to these quarks but the benefits way offset these few issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has made policy compliance and recept collections a breeze! As soon as a user swipes the card they get a text message and can SMS back the memo and picture of the receipt and the platform does the rest. Also, users can forward receipts to the ramp email address provided and it matches them up automatically with amazing accuracy, rarely do we have to manually find the corresponding transaction.
