Phenomenal

Ramp up takes a bit, but the online resources are very helpful

Take Advantage of your credit card spending programs
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to switch 90 Users from a different and clumsy credit card and expense reporting tool to RAMP for free. We now have immediate visibility to spending, issue cards, adjust limits and control spending that we never had before. We were able to set up spending programs and issue Virtual cards in a few days, with minimal support. When we needed help, Customer Support was quick to respond and lots of documentation for you to use for your users and suppliement your process and procedures.

What do you dislike about the product?
RAMP is a newer application and still building out reporting features. But - that means the customers have more leverage to get new features. It just might take some time to get those requests turned on. So, you may have to adjust your process for the timebeing.
One downside is that the upgraded features do cost a bit more than we have budget for today, but if we can control costs and spending, we may be able to implment more of the RAMP Plus features and really use all the aspects of a spend control program.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have some specific reporting and receipt requirements we have requested updates in the analytics.
Making accounting easy (and profitable!)
What do you like best about the product?
The integrations with Quickbooks and Gmail save our staff and accountants several hours a week at least. Additionally, the cashback has already earned us $20,000!
What do you dislike about the product?
Any time there is a refund or a credit from a vendor, the expense policies are not applied. This is because the current product does not factor in below $0 transactions. We have to manually monitor them. Not a huge deal as it is usually only a handful a week, but something that would be nice to get updataed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto receipt capture and direct integration into our financial statements saves countless hours and multiple steps from our previous corporate card (PEX). The approval and coding process is also much faster and syncs also happen much faster.
Great Credit Platform for Business
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is easy to use and was very simple to implement. We utilize the card daily throughout our business to manager our day to day on going costs and it has greatly simplified the management of our operating expenses.
Their UI is very user friendly and the integrations with Sage Intacct have made monthly credit processing much easier. They have functionality that enables you to auto-code transactions significantly reducing entry and reducing our monthly close process. Creating virtual cards for vendors and new cards for personnel is very easy. Their customer support articles are very helpful and we've been able to self-serve any questions that we've have with the platform without needing to speak to an agent.

What do you dislike about the product?
Minor but the credit limit is typically a function of the amount of cash you have in the bank account and doesn't always fluctuate as quickly as we've needed. If we're getting towards our limit though, it's easy to initiate a payment to bring the balance down so there's no disruption in service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Ramp, our monthly credit card process including downloading a list of credit card transactions from our previous provider, building an import an excel, and manually coding each transaction that we would then manually upload in our GL system. Since implementing the Sage Intacct Ramp integration, all of our transactions can be easily synced into our GL and monthly reconciliations have been made much simpler.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of processing transactions, uploading receipts and memos, BillPay features very straightfoward and user friendly

I would love to be able to archive old, non-active cards instead of having them still show up in my card list

We could not give every team member a credit card for work related expenses because they didn't want to ping their credit histories.
Time saver!
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to use! My team members love the system when it comes to submitting for reimbursements. The bill paying for clients is so simple as well. Reporting on reimbursements within a given period is a piece of cake. Being able to issue one time cards to remote employees- absolutely fantastic! So many amazing things about Ramp, has definitely freed up so much needed time in accounting and administration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I wish Ramp allowed is the ability to determine who needs to review what reimbursement requests from team members - for example: Team member A submits a reimbursement for a work related reimbursement, the notification for this reimbursement would go to the manager and then Admin for approval. But Team member B submits a wellbeing reimbursement, as this is NOT a work reimbursement, only the Admin would receive the notification, NOT the manager. As it's not possible to select what reimbursements managers are notified of, we cannot attach managers to team members which is a disappointment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of reimbursing team members and collecting receipts, this has also helped with QBO management as well. Being able to issue not only physical cards, but also virtual cards is a huge asset. The real time management of those cards is incredible as well - so quick and easy.

Extremely user-friendly and easy to use, cost-effective, saves us hours a week, can create limitless custom rules to automate coding and classing, very easy to assign "delegates" for PTO, approvals come to your email inbox, very easy implementation compared to other products, excellent customer support

No app on Android yet, sometimes the email scanning feature does not work properly, does not integrate with ADP TotalSource
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have employees all over the country and no central office, so it was always a pain to track down receipts and expense reports, even with much more expensive software. Ramp is so easy to use for employees and can be set up to scan emails for receipts, so it has cut down the legwork of chasing these down significantly.
It has streamlined our AP processes, but also made preparing 1099s and pulling backup for audits much easier. You can export a vendor report with tax information to see who is missing tax information that is over the 1099 threshold, then batch upload the missing data - much quicker than having to check and enter tax information manually. The way that Ramp bill payments show up on the bank statement makes audit prep a breeze - payments are not batched, and the vendor paid is explicitly stated. It has shaved probably a dozen hours off my 1099 prep and another dozen off my audit prep.

What do you like best about the product?
Visibility and automation has been the best part since switching to Ramp.
The user experience has been excellent, with a fairly easy UI on the website and app.
Almost all positive reviews internally from onboarding.
Ramp Support has been very responsive and timely.

The mobile app has been great.
That in-turn helps us produce more accurate reporting and a quicker month-end close.

The existing platform was great from the start.
