Purchases and expensing made EASY
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp has changed the way my company makes purchases and tracks expenses. Each time a person makes a purhcase, Ramp sends an e-mail and SMS reminding the purchaser to upload their receipt. Then with their awesome AI, they match the reciepts to the transactions. We also like that employees can submit expenses for reimbursement on the one off that they had to buy something with their own funds or they need to be reimbursed for mileage. They have integrations with our financial software too to make end of month reconcilitation a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I havne't found anything to dislike. The Ramp team has been great about responding to requests and working with us as we implemented their system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using to keep track of receipts with great success. There is a lot less reminders going out from our finance team. Ramp sends the reminders automatically. We're using it for expense reimbursments. Once an employee submits their request, I can approve it and Ramp immedialty submits an ACH transaction to pull the money from our account and deposit it into the employee account. Easy peasy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to improve your expense tracking, purchase card program or reimbursement system, then Ramp is the way to go. They quickly got our company approved and the onboarding process was straitforward. Their team can be with you every step of the way as you implement Ramp into your organization. We like the Ramp allows us to give our employees plenty of leeway and autonomy, but still provides lots of oversight. It's amazing how granular you can be when setting up cards, both physicial and virutal (each employee can have 100 virtual cards which is cool).
Great product that keeps getting better
What do you like best about the product?
Unlike competing products, Ramp lets us flexibly manage budgets on a per-card basis. They also have a better integration with QBO than their competition. Additionally, the Slack integration is awesome. We can easily monitor transactions or transactions over a certain threshold in real-time. The rewards program is also great and very easy to work with. Cashback against your next statement is hard to beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. We have transitioned from a competitor and that transition has been seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing employee spend and expense reports is basically a nightmare. We started with an expense management vendor and that helped some. Then we transitioned to a spend management card that required us to manage budgets at a level above the cards themselves. Their rewards program was complex and cumbersome. Ramp solves these problems. Automatic rewards and budgets managed at the card level are much easier to work with. The ability to track spend in real-time in Slack is awesome. Being to request and approve cards within Slack is also cool. We are both saving money and accelerating our time to respond to expense issues for our employees.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which employees can track reciepts in real time and how we get a full staff budget so we can track all expenses in real time.

At this time I do not see any down sides to using ramp.

What do you dislike about the product?
Texts you to upload receipts when I check into hotels, so it's trying to get a receipt for a deposit fee.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
automatically getting reimbursed for company expenses. No need to manually submit expense reimbursement forms. provide finance with easy tracking of expenses/spend.

Would prefer better QB functionality, in terms of automatic syncing or populating.

Ramp Review - Good but needs to adapt
What do you like best about the product?
Digitally native, good user interface, good customer service, partnership deals and promos, and overall experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very high cash deposit requirement, which in today's environment is onerous - $250,000 is a very high bar and given small businesses getting virtually no/negative yield on cash balances, does not make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Haven't fully "played" with all the features as of yet, but so far:

User friendly, easy to use, easy to sync to QBO
What do you like best about the product?
Instant card creation and creating a rule book to pre-categorize all the recurring transactions
What do you dislike about the product?
We would love to but cannot make weekly auto payments to Ramp spends. Not a big issue at all.

The transactions are categorized directly from Ramp login and are synced with QBO on one go
Perfect tool for company's finances management and control
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is so different from other similar platforms we used! It has cool (and practical) features:
- we can create separate Visa virtual cards for specific vendors (to avoid suspicious transactions);
- it matches receipts like magic;
- it sends reminders about lots of things (i.e., if there is an unusual expense or a saving opportunity);
- discounts from Ramp partners;
- we can restrict the expense limit on each card and even specify the vendor.

We don't have any negative feedback about the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a tool to help us understand how much we spend on each category. On the previous platform, we had to update the category manually, but on Ramp it happens automatically, which saves a lot of time for us.
Ramp makes my life so easy
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to set-up, extremely responsive customer service team (like, extremely responsive), easy to understand rewards system (1.5% flat). Free (currently) employee reimbursements. Integrates with Rippling now!

Fewer integrations than Brex and limited support by accounting partners on their integrated expense management system.

We needed a corporate card and expense management system that could be easily managed and integrated with our existing finance systems. Ramp just worked.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better than Brex, even for life sciences companies. Really.
Amazing product - constantly shipping features and so easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp is so powerful and the product is always improving. Combining the best of corporate cards with expense management makes my life so much better. The amount of speed of new feature release is really just best-in-class. I never thought that I would love a product like this

Currently card is plastic only but now building out metal cards.
