Ramp is the best expense management tool that I have used
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp puts all of our AP processes into one system. We use Ramp for Expense reporting, AP, procurement, and credit card expenses. We also are able to use Ramp for all three of our company's subsidiaries which helps simplify multiple processes since our entire company is able to use one system.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could improve is the ability to pay bills from our other subsidiaries bank accounts that are located internationally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Ramp we have been able to cut our month end close process down by 20%. It has greatly improved our efficiency when coding transactions, managing spend, and ensuring our AP processes are complete.
Ramp - Great Expense Platform for Sage Intacct Users
What do you like best about the product?
Best parts about Ramp:
1. It is free - at least for now. There are some features that can be paid for but we are satisfied with the free offering.
2. It is simple to use and teach new users. It is also easy to setup expense rules and integration with Sage Intacct almost never has issues.
3. The ability to create new virtual credit cards almost instantly for new spending projects is extremely convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many negative things to say about Ramp. If I am being nitpicky, they have made a few cosmetic changes to the interface in the last year or so that I do not like, but the functionality has not changed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business Credit card solution with transactions importing into accounting system seamlessly. Also, it makes it easy for us to give people at our company spending authority with controls over how much and what they can spend on. Also makes it easy for users to upload supporting documents

Super easy to use and they handle disputes quickly and efficiently

Nothing comes to mind at the moment except the minimum amount of characters in this section LOL

Managing receipts and accounting for expenses

What do you like best about the product?
I love how everything you need is right on the site and easy to find. Uploading invoices is a breeze. I use Ramp a few days a week to upload invoices, track employee expenses, and view reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the employee cards was compromised and stopped. But we cannot remove it from our account. Would love to remove it, but keep the previous purchases under it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp is helping us see where we can cut spending and how we can get the most out of what we need.
Best Bill Pay & Credit Card Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The sync to QBO works really well. We love that the approval process doesn't hold up the ability to sync expenses. We also love the control over what gets synced, and when it gets synced. Also, overall, I'd say the customer support we've received from Ramp has been great. It has been less consistent as of late, but when we first started with Ramp (about a year and a half ago), it was consistent and awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
Regarding Bill pay: One of the features of the sync to QBO involves a deletion of the payment record weeks or months later in the event that the check payment is never deposited by the vendor. This throws off our monthly accounting reconciliations to have a payment on the books and then later on have that payment record automatically deleted. Not sure what the solution is!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ramp saves our team a ton of time by making it very, very simple document credit card expense info. Also, making bill-pay and approvals completely remote through Ramp has saved our team from having to drive into the office or wait until an approver is back from work-related travel. This means our vendors get paid faster, which is great!

Ease of getting started and cleans up otherwise clunky processes.

Little learning curve on back-end payment connections.

Continuity in personnel processes, timing of data collection.
It's user-friendly, quick, efficient, and eliminates manual tasks.

Seamless integration, user friendly, efficient, and automated approach to expense management. It simplifies expense tracking, eliminates manual process, provide real-time spending controls, offers cash back rewards.

Finding instructions can sometimes be challenging and customer support is limited.

Ramp eliminates manual processes, making expense management more efficient for card users.
Easy and intuitive expense management software
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp makes it easy to record and manage expenses while I'm on the go via SMS. I love how Ramp texts me after I use my card, prompting me to upload a receipt and then providing a reason for the transaction. I love how they suggest transaction reasons and allow me to provide my own. What might normally take minutes per transaction after the fact (ie: taking photos of my receipts, recording the date, time, and purpose, manually uploading the receipts via web, etc) now takes seconds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love the ability to verify or edit transaction amounts via SMS. A challenge I've run into while traveling for work is that at certain restaurants, my Ramp card is charged before I add the tip. This means that when I receive an SMS message for the transaction, it does not include the full amount after tip. I wish I could edit the transaction to include the tip since the receipt actually matches the amount plus tip (not the lower amount)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expense and travel management on the go; logging expenses in seconds right after I've completed a transaction vs. days/weeks afterwards when I may have forgotten about the transactions, lost receipts, etc
Easy to use and very fast
What do you like best about the product?
The website is very fast to use. receipts show up as soon as your transaction goes through allowing you to review the transaction quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Information on the Phone App is harder to find such as virtual credit card details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very fast to use. All transactions are done on the app so i no longer have to keep a spreadsheet of expenses.
Easy to Use and Easy to Understand
What do you like best about the product?
Ramp's card function is easy to use and attaching invoices/receipts make documentation a breeze. Live and recorded webinars make it easy to configure and implement. Customer Support is always responsive and the follow up is outstanding. If a support agent isn't able to provide a solution, you can bet they'll follow up.
What do you dislike about the product?
In Bill Pay a payment made outside of Ramp doesn't integrate to the ERP accounting system our clients use and that creates double work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking expense documentation is easy although developing employee (and management habits) for recording receipts and invoices is difficult. The app does make it easy to capture on the spot.
